We had a lovely meal here, staff were really friendly, excellent knowledge of gluten free / celiac options (as we always find at the lounges), our dog Darcy enjoyed the attention and her own specially made sausage treat (they even do doggy food options!)
All in all a fantastic visit, thank you
Newly moved to the area so went over. The whole vibe is relaxed, calm and slow which was amazing after unpacking all day. Couches to sink into lit by candle light. The waitress we had (Hanna? I believe) was just lovely and was really kind when I seemed to know nothing of the establishment. Loads on the menu for my partner who is gluten and lactose free which is just the best thing. Technically this is now our local and I suspect we'll be round fairly often.
I am very sorry to say I was disappointed with this restaurant.
I ordered mussels as a starter which were priced at £11.95. I received 12 mussels, 3 of which were hollow, I of which was inedible and they were quite small.
My daughter and a friend had Antipasti to share requesting gluten free bread £17.95.
The platter arrived with no bread and when I asked where the bread was he told us they didn't have any. The lettuce was stale and see through. Their was a couple of slices of salami, chorizo and parma ham, 4 slices of cheese half an inch wide and no dressing.
I am unable to recommend this restaurant as it is grossly overpriced and definitely not value for money.
Have been here a few times with family. Lately I have needed to go gluten free on top of vegan which is tricky when eating out. Generally I dread GF/DF pizzas but these were really good - if you didn't know any better, you would assume it wasn't (don't worry - it is different to their normal ones). They had a number of options I could have for starters, mains and dessert and all were really nice. The owner and staff are all very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Great little restaurant.
