Mine and my husband first time trying Vietmanese food and me being a coeliac with most of their menu being GF was great! Every single member of staff was so so friendly - our server was Gowtham and he was great. Highly recommend xx
Great menu with lots of vegan and gluten free options, which our party needed! Millie was our server and she was super helpful, friendly and attentive! Thanks Millie!
Stopped in here for a quick birthday lunch yesterday. Food was very nice, lovely patient staff. Obviously a popular choice as it was quite cramped and busy! Gluten free options which was great.
Some points which lost the star:
I got a gluten free potato and leek soup, on the menu it says the bread is toasted, mine was not. Not a massive deal but it’s what I expected.
My latte wasn’t hot, just warm, which seems to have been the case with another review too. We were in a bit of a rush so didn’t say anything.
Would go back though!
Amazing place for a bite to eat. Great food all different types most of the menu is gluten free which is a super change to normal places. The staff are friendly and is priced very well. We will be returning soon to eat again. Really impressed
I visited this Chipotle with my daughter, who has coeliac disease. We were very pleased to see that the place had a sign, which clearly displayed the allergens in the various food options and also stated that if you told a member of staff you were coeliac, they would wash their hands and change their gloves. This was all very reassuring, as eating out with coeliac disease can sometimes be a challenge.
HOWEVER, when we told the member of staff that my daughter had coeliac disease, he didn't seem to understand what this meant. I had to ask if he could change his gloves, as he had been handling burritos for other customers. He also offered my daughter all of the options available, even the ones that contained gluten! He was very nice and friendly, but this is not really the point. If you are advertising your establishment as catering for food allergies, and specifically for people who have coeliac disease and need to eat gluten free, then the staff really need to be trained to understand what this means and especially the importance of avoiding cross-contamination. Having said all of this, the food was delicious and we enjoyed our meals, but there is certainly room for improvement.
By far the best fish & chips in Guildford. Always excellent quality, fast & friendly service. Staff seem happy to be there. Prices are good especially considering the standard. Consistently offering gluten free on Mondays which tastes just as good and means those following a GF diet don’t miss out. The loyalty scheme is excellent too - highly recommend!
Had a lovely time and good food, our server Lucy was excellent, very friendly and helpful with my boyfriend who is gluten free and also got to have a lovely meal which is a change! Will be coming back again!
Great location: it was pouring with rain the day we went for lunch and we didn't have to go outside. The satay chicken starter and pud thai main course were really delicious and there was even a yummy desert that was gluten free. I definitely recommend Thai Terrace.
Incredible experience! Everything was so delicious. The flavors were orchestrated beautifully. VERY considerate of gluten free needs and one of the most accommodating. The lemongrass soup in teacups were unbelievably delicious and dessert at the end is an absolute must. Rose ice cream and ginger ice cream and kheer rice pudding were all phenomenal. Maybe one of my favorite Indian restaurants of all time. The service was amazing and we had such a wonderful birthday lunch here. Highly recommend.
We had a very pleasant lunch and the service was good. My friend who had to have a gluten free meal said the fish dish was very tasty.
The newly decorated interior was very lovely.

Had my 40th Birthday meal here this evening. Everything was fabulous, the venue was beautifully decorated, the food was absolutely delicious and catered perfectly for myself and my nephew's coeliac dietary requirements, the staff were brilliant and very attentive to our party of 14. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for making my birthday an evening to remember 🥳 🫶
Very good food, good price quality. The waiters and the owner are very attentive and friendly. With options for celiacs and vegans. One of the best places in Guildford.
No gluten free bread available so I had to sit with a cup of coffee whilst my daughter ate her pancakes. Only option available to me were full breakfasts or yoghurt which I did not want. Not good enough when 30% of the population are gluten free and it is not by choice
I suffered terribly with an allergic (gastrointestinal) reaction to the food which I was led to believe was glutenfree. I was off work for a week and the ongoing symptoms will continue for a few weeks to a lesser extent.
I have no complaints about the staff or ambience but I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that I consumed gluten containing food which was advertised as glutenfree. I would not recommend the place if anyone has an allergy and I will not be returning there for any meals again.
REGARDING THE COMMENT POSTED. So in your mind someone should effectively avoid eating out because of possible miscommunications. I disagree. If a restaurant advertises a meal to be Gluten Free, it should be. It's not rocket science and it's 2024 - so why should people with certain food allergies avoid going out to eat. I posted a valid review and stand by it
A group of us came for bottomless brunch yesterday and were very impressed with our experience.
The brunch is £38 per person (or £10 extra for upgraded cocktails) - you get 1 main dish and 90 mins of drinks from the time your first order taken.
Leonie looked after us wonderfully- she was cool, calm and collected even though the bar was completely full of Christmas revellers. She was also professional and friendly, keeping our drinks flowing throughout the afternoon. We really couldn’t have received better service so we’re really grateful and would love for management to pass on our thanks to her.
Food was good - enough choices for everyone to get something tasty. I would personally recommend the Full Breakfast- good sausages, quality streaky bacon and my poached eggs were cooked to perfection.
We had someone with a Gluten allergy in our group and they were well taken care of by the manager which was also great to see and highly appreciated.
The venue has been recently refurbished and is beautifully decorated for Christmas so I would have no hesitation in recommending. The only thing I would have liked is some Christmas music playing but this certainly won’t stop us from returning here for our annual Christmas celebration!
Thank you to Leonie and all of the team for making our day so special xxx
The Stoke smells of old wood and delicious food. Which I know is a strange way to start a review but it's the perfect way to set the atmosphere in this beautiful pub with a super cool back room. I was here as part of the Guildford Fringe festival and it was lovely. I had the chicken wings and rosemary fries as I watched comedy and cabaret and it was a very enjoyable experience. They have a separate gluten free menu which makes ordering easy and the staff are all wonderful. Will definitely be back.
Would not recommend for people with allergies as staff are not trained to deal with them, I was recently there and I was given what I was told was a gluten free taco and later found out after having a gluten attack that I had been given a taco with gluten. Very upset and disappointed!
The pizza was pretty good and similar to one you might get in Italy. On of my work colleagues is gluten free and it was nice for the restaurant to have options that catered to him. Overall it’s a bit if a small place, but not cramped. I recommend reserving a table ahead of time as they needed to find a way to fit us in. I’ll probably return when I come back to the area and try something different to experience more of their menu.
Great options, lots of gluten free, peanut free, staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of their allergens. Their collegen powder they had bovine and vegan options (shellfish and marine free)
If your sound sensitive the sound of the blenders going off is quite loud and because it's all fresh the waiting times can vary here so bare in mind that if you want healthy fresh juice and be kind to your body it's not always quick! Totally worth the wait! Staff are lovely.
Quick with friendly and welcoming lads, lovely food and great coffee with interesting gluten free and vegan options. Great atmosphere, absolutely a 5 star place 👌
After seeing a decline in gluten free options over the past year on the Pizza Express menu, it remained my go-to restaurant. Front of House Staff are always helpful and friendly. However, I was extremely disappointed that last night I had an instant allergic reaction to gluten. Reactions can last for a few days and trigger flare ups of other health conditions so it is very serious and I was informed that they cater for Coeliacs. Will not be going back.
Great place to eat. Always cater for allergies and look after me being celiac. The half chicken is gluten free and tastes great. Chips also gluten free with no Cross Contamination.
Me and my gf love ordering from here the pizza is always amazing with lots of toppings. The gluten free pizza base is genuinely the nicest we’ve had so far (they’re normally very yucky). So grateful and those that deliver the pizza are always so kind and welcoming!
Super food, clean cafe. They catered well for Gluten free - I had the Mini-breakfast which included gf sausages, and gf toast too, the portion size was large despite it being the small breakfast. Popular with the locals, outdoor seating at the back. Pet friendly. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely brilliant I can't recommend this place enough! They catered for us as we are gluten and dairy free! Valdeni was great as we planned my FILs 70th birthday lunch here. They are refurbishing the roof top where we sat, but it certainly did not take away from the amazing aromas of the food. The service was second to none and brilliant! I cannot describe how the food was cooked to perfection! The seasoning was on point and the meat, tender as anything. I forgot to take pictures but that's because after enjoying it and finishing, I remembered but there wa no food left 😂! Will definitely come here again and again, even though I live 40mins away! If you love meat, you will not be disappointed!

Pitchside Coffee

A great addition to the Surrey Sports Park. A spacious cafe with seating outside which overlooks sports courts. Lots of fresh sandwiches, salad bowls, snacks and drinks to choose from. Sandwich options include gluten-free and vegan, which is a bonus. The coffee tasted great, and the customer service was brilliant, with friendly staff and a short queue and drink preparation time. I chose the mezze bowl, which was a vegan salad with falafel, which was delicious. This cafe is suitable for working as there is a laptop charging area with desks, it’s also accessible if you use the lift from the ground to the first floor. I highly recommend it and would visit again.
