Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, modern decor. Gluten-free warm bread with the soup and the fries are fantastic. Highly recommended, I will come back soon. Tip: make a reservation, which is very easy via the website. Staff also very friendly, our dog was immediately given a bowl of water, sweet!

Very good and tasty selection of pastries are available, including gluten free and lactose free products.
All kinds of cupcakes, birthday cakes and wedding cakes can be made to order. 🎂 (see webpage for examples)
Tea, coffee and a small selection of non alcoholic drinks can be ordered to enjoy in the garden with the sweets.
During summer, plants like Dahlias are also sold on the premises.
Free parking on the driveway.
All in all a very pleasant experience and extremely tasty sweet pastries.

The food is delicious. They make everything themselves and know exactly what can be gluten-free and lactose-free. It's wonderful that you can eat so carefree. Good service 🙏
Enjoyed lunch on the terrace. With dietary requirements (including gluten-free and dairy-free). Nice place in the middle of the village, friendly service and good food. Diet didn't seem to be a problem at all and that's a good thing.

We were looking for a gluten free option to have lunch at. We ended up here by accident and were pleasantly surprised. Kind staff and especially the (not gluten free) pulled chicken sandwich was very good and a lot more than you would expect. Also the terrace looks over the whole square, which is nice and full of oak trees.
Great food. Friend eats gluten-free and this was taken into account very well. The service was neat, nice and helped well with advice. In short, it was a very positive experience! Would like to eat there again. The cocktail was good by the way!!
The gluten-free version of the salmon sandwich was delicious, but unfortunately they don't take gluten-free food enough seriously. Unfortunately, I still ingested gluten, so there must have been cross-contamination. Too bad, but if you have a gluten intolerance, you cannot eat here safely.

Beautiful dishes and delicious food. The chef is well informed about gluten-free food and there is always plenty of choice for people who need to eat gluten-free. Always a delicious gluten-free sandwich and there is a separate fryer so that fries are fried separately. Cozy restaurant and great service. I like coming here.
They say on the site that they have gluten-free products. This is not so! It doesn't look all that pleasant. Outside it is a kind of construction pit. We eventually drove to Assen north. There's a good Mac there!
Delicious gluten-free cone. Not dry and tasty. With a wide choice of ice cream. For once, no limitation to just sorbet ice cream. And a great owner who knows what he is talking about.

During our stay in Roden we ate at the Foodcafé three times in a row. What a nice place. There is an extensive menu, many gluten-free options and excellent service from the staff. Niels helped us and we noticed that he does his work with passion and pleasure! We will definitely come back! Really recommended.
Very tasty food, friendly service. Lots of variety in terms of flavors, very tasty combining Spanish with Arabic dishes. The menu also clearly indicates what is vegetarian but also what is gluten-free. The price is also very good, certainly not too expensive. Recommended!
Great pancake restaurant. Gluten-free options and gluten-free pancakes. I have had better gluten-free pancakes. The other pancakes were very good according to my table companions. A mistake was made with the drinks, this was neatly corrected although it took a while. Friendly people. Nice to sit inside and outside. Lots of parking space.
Had a great time here during and after a ride on the e-chopper. Nice, attentive and very smooth service. Unlike my predecessor in the reviews, 3 of us ate a tender steak and 1 man a thick hamburger and we were politely asked about the preparation. The menu is excellent, something for everyone. A cozy place to eat and drink without pretensions. Gluten intolerance was also taken into account. Very good! Will definitely come again.
Great ice cream. Many other than the normal types such as: hazelnut, walnut, whiskey, peanut ice cream. All really great and most gluten-free. Coupes for no money. Small 9 euros for 3 scoops of coupe with sauce and fresh fruit. If you want a gluten-free waffle, it is also possible.

Wonderful restaurant to dine for some yummy pancakes. However, just make sure you go on an empty stomach because it's definitely a lot to eat. They also have gluten-free and egg-free pancakes for those who have allergy issues. Customer service is friendly and professional.
Delicious food and friendly service. Lots of vegetables, attention to people with lactose or gluten intolerance. The children have plenty of opportunities to play without it being disruptive while eating. Highly recommended!
