We had lunch today with my daughter who has celiac disease, the entire menu is also available gluten-free, I would say truly top!!! Everything excellent and plentiful. Well done, congratulations!! Bad impression from the start: the menus are dirty and damaged. Unsmiling but efficient service. Disgusting truffle pizza because it tastes too strong. Very average gluten-free pizza, the dough for 4 euros extra is disappointing.

I recently dined at Nonna Nini, located near Piazza del Comune in Assisi, and it was absolutely delicious—one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The restaurant offers a unique blend of Indian and Italian cuisine, resulting in complex flavors that are both subtle and strong. One of the highlights for me was their accommodating menu, which includes gluten-free options and completely vegan dishes. Unlike many places where you have to ask for modifications, their vegan offerings are thoughtfully crafted without needing to request the removal of cheese or other non-vegan ingredients. The chef is super friendly and clearly passionate about the food. The experience leans towards fine dining, but the atmosphere remains casual and relaxed. The service and ambiance were both great, making the entire experience enjoyable. My only minor disappointment was the lack of vegan dessert options. Overall, Nonna Nini is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to explore a fusion of Indian and Italian flavors, whether you have dietary restrictions or not.

Intimate wine tavern just off the most famous streets of Assisi, in a quiet street with on-street parking. My partner and I ate divinely, thanks to the expert hands of the chef Simone and all his sweet family. We are vegetarians and my partner cannot eat gluten, but there were so many alternatives on the menu for us, we couldn't be more satisfied. All the truffle-based dishes are highly recommended, and for dessert the white chocolate soufflé which is a real delight, just as recommended by our exceptional waiter.
