Great restaurant for those with gluten and lactose intolerance! What a joy to eat pastry chefs' cakes. Special mention for the carrot cake and the royal! The pain au chocolat isn't exactly flaky, but is still very good!
On the other hand, I was disappointed because the opening hours on Saturdays aren't 9:30 a.m. but 10:30 a.m. We waited an hour in the neighborhood, only to find that all the savory brunch items weren't available until noon...
Even the lattes weren't available. It's a shame because the concept and the food are great!
A unique place if you're celiac; they have a separate oven for gluten-free preparations and baking. They're concerned about this issue, so you can trust them. Being celiac, I ate a delicious pizza and a tiramisu, and I didn't have a stomach ache. So, thank you so much for treating me.

I've always heard good things about this pastry shop located near the Prefecture.
I'd been wanting to try it for a long time.
Its unique feature is that it's 100% vegan and offers pastries made with local, organic, and gluten-free products.
I had my doubts about the taste of the cakes on offer. I wrongly thought they would be less indulgent than a traditional pastry shop.
A colleague and I finally went there in May.
There's a small tea room upstairs where you can enjoy a snack on the premises.
The mini strawberry cakes we chose were so delicious that we couldn't resist the temptation to try other equally delicious cakes.
A friendly, cool place outside despite the heatwave.
A choice of meat, vegan, and gluten-free dishes at reasonable prices.
Le Baghera 😜
I recommend it.
I'll be honest: I didn't even want to leave a comment... Because Le Balagan is a place you want to keep to yourself. This restaurant is a slap in the face. World peace. Yannick takes obvious pleasure in offering vegan, organic, gluten-free cuisine—and mind you, not sad or sloppy dishes, no, everything here is crafted, thoughtful, and delicious. This is something you've never seen before in Marseille. Every plate is amazing, there's nothing to throw away. The eggplant moussaka with rosemary, the tajine-style stew with candied lemon, almonds, and apricots... pure bliss. Honestly, I didn't know how to repay him, it's so good... and then I realized: the best way is to come back, again and again. Thank you, Yannick. You've set the bar very, very high.
Great experience! Very attentive service, lovely meals (we had pizza and pasta, with cocktails) and very good option in Marseille for gluten free. The menu offers gf pasta - my husband has celiac disease and had a lovely gf penne bolognaise, no trouble at all.
Such a lovely, amazing place to eat!! We came back 3 times while we were in Marseille! Quaint and cute place inside or outside! We tried a different burger every time we visited and they all tasted so delicious! The chef and staff there are so kind, warm, and friendly. Fast service, fresh tasting ingredients, and quality food! They even have gluten free buns, which were also delicious! We were sad when our time in Marseille was over and wished we could take this wonderful place with us!
Too bad... Not much was going right... Service a bit top-notch (hurried and not very pleasant), I ordered gluten-free felucci with grilled pancetta, I ended up with penne with bacon... The bacon pasta from home but at 22 euros... This could have, at the very least, been explained to me beforehand rather than having to check my plate and make a complaint... A gesture from the management should be highlighted (I didn't pay for the plate that I only ate half of - I was hungry😂) but they had to go and get it too.... Too bad
Mariposas is an exceptional restaurant that stands out for its creative cuisine, prepared with local, fresh and seasonal ingredients. All dishes are both vegan and gluten-free. The service is impeccable, and the desserts are delicious. A must for lovers of good cuisine!
We went there for the buckwheat pancakes (galettes), which are gluten-free. They have several options of sweet and savory pancakes and you can also make them to your liking with the ingredients you want. We found everything very good, the service was quick and friendly and the value for money is excellent. The place is small and it was full, but we were lucky to find a table and be able to eat there. 100% recommended.
Visually and culinary really great fully vegan food spot!
The interior was beautiful, the plates were beautiful, our food has been incredibly delicious!😋😍
Basically nothing more to add 😂
We had a sweet potato bowl with fresh salad a creamy sauce, cranberries, chickpeas and figs. A tasty and quite healthy combination at the same time. The sweet potatoes were perfectly baked.
My dessert was the gluten free (!) cake of the day - with chocolate chips, vanilla flavour and a syrup. One of the best vegan gluten free cakes I have eaten in 10years - really nice consistency, not dry but soft and sweet 🤤
The Yuzu flavoured Matcha was without sugar but jasmine syrup was available.
Next time in Marseille we won’t miss De Bonheur! 💚🍠🥗🌱
A super friendly and very attentive team! I don't eat gluten and the team modified the poké for me. The products are fresh and the normal size is well copied.
90% of the menu is gluten-free. The menu also has vegan options. The restaurant owner is very attentive and knows his dishes perfectly. The sauces are also gluten-free, so it's fantastic for celiacs. The food is very affordable and the dishes are delicious. If you order a starter, main course, and dessert, it costs 25 euros per person. I highly recommend it. A big thank you to Dragon Bay for this wonderful experience.
5 stars without hesitation
good atmosphere & good mood we have a great time there
As for the cuisine, nothing to say, it’s a treat from start to finish
Many dishes and lots of choice for those who don't eat gluten
Plus the prices are very reasonable!
Don’t hesitate to book a table there, you won’t be disappointed 👌
See you soon and thank you again for this experience
A great discovery! Everything is delicious, both dish and dessert. Gluten-free dishes are indicated with an asterix.
Very good service, smiling waitress, attentive to allergies and friendly.
I recommend you.
A MUST GO - Gluten free options are fantastic the best ever Mexican food I’ve eaten words cannot describe the flavours that we experienced were out of this world sincere compliments to the chef and staff at Taqueria LoKA

The breads are delicious and varied, with or without gluten, the pastries are copious and exquisite, the sandwiches are inventive and very good... the unsold items are distributed in the evening, which shows you how nice and supportive it is, and the team is large and friendly. In short, it’s great!!!
Excellent discovery of this restaurant 🤩
Unexpected arrival, my mother and I decide to test it via TheFork. Italian cuisine? YES 😍! Homemade pasta (+ gluten-free supplement for those with intolerances). Vegetarian dishes, with meat and with fish. Something to please everyone 😄. I had the Puglia Buratta starter which is hearty and the burrata tomato pasta which was just succulent 😋😋.
A beautiful project, useful and effective! I went there 4 times and each time the service was impeccable, with two smiling and professional waiters who accompanied us throughout the meal. The cuisine was exceptional, offering vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free options, something to satisfy all palates! The decor is elegantly appointed, making the overall experience memorable. The maître d' takes the time to visit each table to discuss the project, answer questions and simply chat, a rare and very appreciable attention.
I love this restaurant, with most of the vegan and gluten-free choices, being coeliac I go there with my eyes closed.
The menu changes regularly, the portions are generous, the atmosphere is great, and the service is impeccable.
Best sushi in Marseille, never disappointed. They are close to real sushi, with a real quantity of fish. Great initiative for gluten intolerances!
The restaurant is always pleasant, the staff too :) I recommend!
Very lively! The man at the counter knew what was gluten free and advised me on how to order. At the time, it was the nachos and the burrito without the shell. Very inexpensive too.
First I have to say the service is SO GOOD. The girl with the short black hair who served us was a total pro, so speedy so efficient (merci!). You do not need to wait long for a menu or for your order to be taken - and then the food arrives so fast. Also, the food is good with a lot of options to order from. Vegetarian, gluten free included. The desserts in particular were 5-stars.
Try to get an outside table via reservation if you can :-)
Fabulous! Delicious food, exceptional service. I am allergic to gluten and milk, they took this into account and helped me choose the best dish by adjusting some ingredients for me, I was really grateful. We loved it, highly recommended!
This place was so welcoming, we found eggs, coffee, the best orange juice I ever tried and they even brought out a gluten free baguette for me since I couldn’t eat the pastry like my husband. It was delicious and will be coming back!
Excellent products at very reasonable prices. Plus the managers are super friendly.
I recommend the gluten-free bread, it's one of the best I've tried in Marseille,
All the breads are good.
I also like treats: chocolate chip rolls, chestnut cream rolls...
I recommend 💯💯💯
I just discovered this place with my sister...
Welcome to the best 👌
Finally a fast food that offers a REAL choice of vegan and vegetarian and even gluten-free breads!!!
I warmly recommend this address. 👍
I wanted to write a review on this place because we have visited multiple times with different friends and we love it here. I can’t understand the negative reviews so decided to leave some positive feedback. We’ve always had delicious crepes, super friendly service and nice ice creams, juices and coffees. The savoury crepes were particularly delicious (I am gluten free and I loved the goats cheese, honey and salad galette) and the lavender ice cream was a favourite too. They were able to seat us as a table of 6 today without any issues and we stayed for multiple crepes and desserts and had a lovely afternoon so thank you for being so accommodating. We definitely recommend coming here if you’re in Marseille and we’ll be back again soon!
Café Borély, an unforgettable and explosive memory filled with love and warmth…🤍
In May 2021 we learned with the man who is now my husband that we are going to be parents a second time 👶🏻!
We then decide to get married in two months 💍!
So I'm looking for a place that would be able to accommodate us..
I didn't think long and contacted Ariel and Sophie to entrust them with the happiest day of our lives...!
Café Borély The Place To Be!! The guests and even the bride and groom were delighted without exception with the progress of the evening from A to Z.
Decoration perfectly installed as I requested
Warm and smiling welcome from the team and the care of each guest
Excellent aperitif and meal, the Borély café perfectly adapted to our exceptional requests for our day
and the individual cooking of the sea bass at the table was divine, and not only that…!
A gluten-free menu was requested for an intolerant person who finally felt considered in this type of event without feeling “embarrassing”; the Borély café was happy to accommodate them.
Animation of size accepted without problem and even accompanied and supported to achieve them 💃🏼🕺🏻
Perfectly respected timing for a successful marriage
Organization carried out successfully, myself and my husband were amazed and were able to enjoy our wedding relaxed and cool. Sophie and her team managed everything beautifully. I thank them again and congratulate them because it wasn't easy 🙏🏻
I recommend Borély coffee with my eyes closed ♥️
Thanks again to Ariel, Sophie and their entire team, whether large, small or medium-sized, for pooling their skills on 09/11/2021 to make a great team 💪
For the haters, see life in pink, know how to recognize the humor, the quality, the subtlety of the dish which will melt in your mouth and above all all the work that goes into this dish, it is not just a dish... basic...
Sophie don’t change yourself, we love you like that 💗🌸
I finally managed to take the time to write my opinion, it was so important to me ♥️
My sister-in-law is celiac and vegan, she introduced us to this excellent restaurant. Since then we go there very often as a family.
Great service, the food is great, and they are patient with the kids who wander around a bit haha

Very clean, tidy and stocked store. The best thing about this store which has become my favorite, it has a lot of choice for people allergic to gluten and milk. Pasta, pie and pizza dough, biscuits of several kinds, breads, various flours for cakes, grated cheeses, yogurts, cubes to put in cooking for soups, water spaghetti, they are really good. You can eat almost normally when you have this kind of problem. In addition, the prices are really really very affordable and for that THANK YOU INFINITELY..
Friendly neighborhood, and a relaxing place under beautiful trees to have creative, Mediterranean dishes, and delicious biodynamic, local wines. The wines are for purchase as well. Let them know if you have food restrictions. Most of the menu was fine for my gluten issue. The staff, including the chef were all warm and friendly. I started just for a glass of wine in the afternoon, and stayed beyond closing. I made a 2nd visit before I left. By the way, the owner, Gérarh speaks perfect English. I wish I could have taken this restaurant back to California with me!
The server is top notch! Welcoming and very attentive. In terms of cuisine, we enjoyed vegan and gluten-free meals thanks to the waiter and the chef who made up for the lack of options suitable for us on the fly. Tip: book on zen chef. The only downside was the chef who didn't seem to care much about our table. Perhaps an expression of its lack of inclusiveness? Too bad for a moment which would have been worth five stars otherwise.
