One of my favourite restaurants in the city. Fantastic food and cocktails. Lots of gluten free options. Good music and a great date night spot.
This take-out coffee shop offers a noteworthy selection of vegan and gluten-free treats, including a chewy, tangy strawberry oat bar with ginger and a dense, chocolatey beet loaf reminiscent of brownies. The window display showcases these plant-based delights, making it easy to spot and order. While the banana bread and date square provide additional gluten-free options, the standout items deliver a unique twist on gluten-free indulgences for those seeking flavorful, plant-based snacks.

I was looking for vegan treats after eating vegan Indian meal in the neighbourhood, and noticed that this cute little coffee shop had some. I appreciate that the treats were displayed in the window, where they take your order and give you the food. This is a take-out only coffee shop. So, the vegan treats available at that time were:
1. Strawberry oat bar
2. Beet chocolate loaf
3. Banana bread (vegan & gluten free)
4. Date square
I purchased one of each and they were nice. My favourite was the strawberry oat bar. It was chewy, sweet with a bit of tang and ginger flavour. Second favourite was the Beet chocolate bar, it was like a brownie, dense but soft and chocolatey. The banana bread was a a bit dry, due to it being gluten free, and it tasted very mild. It was okay. The date bar was underwhelming. It was not as sweet as I was expecting; it tasted rather flat. The crumbs on the date square were on the saltier side. Overall, I am grateful they have vegan treats options 😊
This vibrant eatery offers a gluten-conscious dining experience with thoughtful accommodations like foil-lined trays to prevent cross-contamination. The cozy yet lively atmosphere complements the fresh, savory burritos and crispy quesadillas, making it a welcoming spot for those seeking gluten-free options without sacrificing flavor or portion size.
