The food is fabulous here, I can eated gluten free with confidence as everyone is very informed and the majority of the menu is GF. I love going to get my parma fix, much better than making in the oven at home, and being able to have chips as well is just great. They also stock several alcohol free beers and make a couple of mocktails, (would be great if you could stock some of the Lyre's range though, it would expand the AF cocktail list and make it more grownup). The staff always appear happy and relaxed, nothing is too much trouble and have just the right balance of interested but professional. We call this our local.

Fantastic customer service. Love the drinks selection and the food is really good, with lots of vegan and gluten-free options. Great vibe and the actual leaves and vines are a nice decorative touch.

I’m potentially gluten intolerant and ergo, I’ve been removing anything wheat, oats and barley from my diet. Which = food courts are out of bounds. Or are they? After visiting a shopping complex and visiting a food court, I thought I’d give it a shot! I asked 7 eateries if they had anything gluten free, each with a resounding “no”. I came across the Spud Bar at #eastlandshoppingcentre Hallelujah! As a novice with this gluten free thing, the delightful Spud Bar assistant Dylan was so helpful in educating me with what #spudbarau had to offer. She was knowledgeable, patient and efficient. Plus she upsold me to the lemon tea and brownie. Oh yes, the brownie was amazing as well. Thank you Dylan. I sat in the food court and for the first time in a while my appetite was appeased with wholesome food and didn’t have to worry that I would be trotting off to a bathroom. Spud Bar you have my business into the future because you’re safe, reputable and frankly, the food is downright tasty. So along with my older brothers, I’ve joined the GF club in my 60’s. Thankfully, blood test said for now I’m not a celiac. (Will I ever learn how to spell that? Or diarrhoea? Can only spell because of spell check).
