Stopped in for dinner & was very satisfied with the food! I was excited to try the gluten free empanadas - the chicken was my favorite. The margarita was super tasty with a little kick of heat. The vegetarian dish was super flavorful. The only thing that needed improvement was the cheese in the Arepas, which wasn’t melted, so it made the dish less enjoyable. Also note that you walk into the restaurant, order at a kiosk, get your own utensils and seating (aka mostly self-serve other than your drinks and food brought to your table). Overall, we enjoyed our food & would definitely return!

Currently staying in the Wilderness Lodge and thought we would try the Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner the other night. I told the server that I would need gluten free meal as I'm celiac, they assured me that's fine. An hour after my meal I became extremely unwell due to my food being contaminated with gluten, I spent the following day in bed unwell. The food did taste nice and had spoke about going back until we realised the food was not safe for me to eat. The staff are extremely fun and friendly in the restaurant.

Lived up to our expectations! We had an amazing server Tim, who was brilliant at helping to accommodate me as a coeliac.

Would not go again. Server was good. Everything else was meh. Our appetizers took over 45 mins (soups..) and other tables who arrived after us were eating meals and receiving wine service before we had to inquire what was going on with our food. Only to get a response that “they have a system in place”. Soup was good flavour once it arrived but not super hot. I have an allergy and ordered dairy and egg free spaghetti - after our server telling us that the normal noodles don’t contain egg we were surprised to receive the gluten free noodles - they were disgusting. We might as well have ordered porridge. No quality check was done. So we ate it because we were so hungry. Yuck. And to top it off, the manager comes to talk to us about our experience and we address our concerns, softly of course - we are not ones to complain and work in the industry but this was unacceptable - and the manager tells us that the gluten free pasta has been getting terrible reviews and that the cook is overcooking the pasta on a regular occurrence. They still put it on our bill. We would have rather eaten a hot dog outside.

Not a character experience. Arrived early for our reservations but were seated 25 minutes after our reservation time. The service was good and our waiter was attentive. Like most of Disney, they were very careful with allergies and gluten. Hard to say if my celiac partner got sick from here or earlier - she seems to think it was safe for celiac disease people. The beast comes out, walks down the main corridors with a little wave and a bow, and that’s it. No Belle, no table side experience, you get perhaps 45-60 seconds seeing the beast. I’m not sure why we thought this was a character experience but it definitely isn’t. To be fair to Disney, it’s not labeled as a character experience. The environment is pretty cool as always. The food is highly average. Normal/gluten baguette was dry and stale. Beef short rib was dry. French onion soup was good though. Dessert was average. The price point is aggressive, even for Disney. USD $70 prix fixe menu without alcohol. Ultimately, the meal is completely forgettable. Perhaps if you’re a super fan of the beauty and the beast ballroom scene, you might appreciate it, but for average Disney fans I wouldn’t expect anything special here. Suggest skipping this and going to Cinderella’s Royal table for a much better experience (see separate review). Won’t return to Be Our Guest.
