We booked for lunch as The Cosy Club offers a good variety of gluten-free food and a couple of tasty vegan dishes. I have Coeliac disease and my friend eats a vegan diet. Very good understanding of cross contamination, and the food and service was excellent.
overall fantastic experience!! such cute decor, jason was a wonderful host and the food was so good, great options for gluten free as well which is hard to come by, thank you!! :))
We see served by Dylan who was amazing. The gluten free lady in our group was very well catered for and looked after. We’ve had a wonderful time for siennas 18th brunch! Thank you so much Dylan!
We recently visited your restaurant after calling ahead to check if you had gluten-free options, as my boyfriend has celiac disease. We were told gluten-free options were available, and when we arrived, we clearly informed the staff again about his condition and the need for strict precautions.
Unfortunately, despite the reassurances, my boyfriend experienced severe gluten contamination. He’s been very unwell for three days now and which almost never happens to us, so we know it was from this meal. This has been really difficult for him, and honestly quite upsetting for both of us.
I do want to say the waiter who served us was genuinely kind and friendly we had a nice interaction. But it’s extremely important that staff are better trained and more careful with allergies and intolerances, especially when a guest has made it clear multiple times.
We’re sharing this feedback in hopes that you can take this seriously and ensure better allergy protocols in the future. It would also help if you clearly explain what items are truly safe for celiacs and what isn’t, to prevent others from going through the same.
Thank you.

We love The Ivy! It's become a date night staple. We are a queer interracial BIPOC couple; I'm from The States and my partner is local. We always feel so welcome here and so well cared for. The drinks are always on point - beautiful and delicious. Ask the bartenders for recommendations! We are pescatarian, dairy -free and gluten-free. They work really hard to meet dietary needs with tasty substitutes. We have enjoyed the Afternoon Tea here a few times. Looking forward to sharing this place with out of town friends.

First positive thing - if you’re a group, this place is good for satisfying people who are celiac, vegetarian or monitoring their daily calorie intake.
However, there were some things that went wrong during our night when it comes to SERVICE - like: (a) drink order - we could think that the waitress was trying to trick us into buying the wine which is triple the price, (b) seating - the table next to us was still full with dirty dishes from the previous bigger group, (c) utensils - were delivered to our table only after the food and only after we pointed this out to the waiter), (d) glassware - just brought to our table in a bulk and staked in tower causing a beer garden experience. All these minor details we were ready to overlook and don’t bother, until - we were faced with the bigger issue which is -
(!) Engagement with customers - once the food was delivered at our table - I think maybe only one out of 4-5 waiters checked on us. When we were obviously done with the food - no one approached us and asked if we would like to order drinks or something else from the menu. We learned way later that the kitchen is closed, but we were genuinely not informed. We did try to get their attention by waving at the staff, but they still did not approach our table. One of us took the initiative to approach the manager and tell that we would like to order - from there things went down the hill… One new waitress (which we did not see around for the full night) rushed to our table out of nowhere and called one of us “disgusting” and that our “behavior is disgusting”. Rest of us had to calm her down to understand where she was coming from, what happened, why… Once she calmed down - she flipped her notepad and asked what we would like to order. Originally we wanted to order more drinks and dessert (meaning, double the income from our table on that night), but genuinely changed our plan and asked for a bill and way out instantly.
On our way out, assume, shift manager, was standing at the reception desk with our back (FYI - when customers are departing, it’s a common practice to turn around and wave them out) - we took the courage to approach him and give an instant feedback and maybe leave the night with “no hurt feelings”, but to my surprise - he was not even capable of solving the conflict, de-escalate the situation or even give a “fake apology on behalf of his staff” for calling us names.
Recommendation to the restaurant staff - please please please do not offend your customers. We were of course slightly agitated by minor details in service level, but did not offend anyone intentionally individually. To this day I’m puzzled about what level of “disgusting” we are talking about? We were not drunk, we consumed our food with a knife and fork, did not puke on the table, we were decently dressed, did not damage any of your plates, glasses etc., we did not physically/inappropriately touch or harm any of your staff.
Our group has travelled the world and collected the experience from low to high end restaurants, but this was the first time ever when we were called names and personally insulted. I do not believe the “customer is always right” approach, hence we will of course do our homework and reflect our behavior and expectations towards mid range restaurants. In the meantime, maybe the recommendation to the restaurant management - please invest in your people and train them on how to (1) work in customer facing industry, (2) how to deal with “difficult” customers who would like to order food and spend money, (3)resilience and response in difficult situations and (4)for senior members of the crew how to de-escalate conflicts caused the wider staff.
When we booked the table - you were informed that it's for a birthday celebration and all we wanted was to have a nice/calm night out. Unfortunately this is one star review. I hope you do understand and can accept this.
Thank you & wishing you all the best for the future!
Came in for an early meal before the theatre. Lovely welcome from Alex, (always a good start when staff acknowledge your presence and say they will be with you shortly). As I am gluten free, the choice here is very good. Attentive service and lovely food. Colourful restaurant with music adding to atmosphere. They have 2 for 1 on cocktails at the moment and Alex explained them to us and took the time to help us choose. I also had a voucher for 1 main get 1 main free, plus a gift card. They took every offer with no terms excluding using any together. It was 75p over my gift card value, but Beth manager removed this without telling me and I appreciated the kind gesture. All in all a lovely experience to enhance our day. Thank you.
OMG like wow, we had high chai - one chicken diary gluten free that the amazing Anmol called me semi GF lady which we all laughed at and 2 of us were paneer…as soon as he said unlimited panjabi tea I WAS HOOKED!!!
Amazing service even when the restaurant was half full, accommodating to my baby with a high chair and when he was climbing the chairs, Rashmi was laughing with him and the kitchen staff were all making funny faces with him.
We came all the way from London for this, and we will be back!!!
Dont delay, book Zindiya today!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
My friend booked for my birthday impressive gluten free menu and very easy to identify allergens by the QR code which I scanned at the table. Server, Ingrid very good and friendly also the bar manager. (Sorry forgot his name) very friendly and helpful. When I told him it was my birthday he kindly bought me a complementary glass of prosecco .
Rum punch cocktails were fabulous as were the hanging Kebabs. The lemon tart and raspberry sorbet with honeycomb was amazing. Decent amount of food and good value for money. Definitely will return.
Ordered the southern fried chicken club gluten free with no guacamole…. Really wished I hadn’t it tasted like there was no chicken in the batter. it was just the weirdest tasting chicken I’ve ever had plus they’d put the guacamole on. Apart from that service was excellent a cocktails were really good. I wouldn’t go back for food but definitely for drinks.
Little Italian restaurant with a great location next to St Paul Square at just a few mins away from the busy City Centre.
As an Italian I can say the food tastes authentic, furthermore the portions are good sizes and well presented.
The menu also presents plenty of Gluten Free and Vegan options and as stated by the owner, the recipes are completely customizable to meet dietary requirements and taste preferences.
The atmosphere is lovely with the soft light, making it a perfect romantic dinner experience if you would.
The price is fair considering all the above.
100% recommended, I have been there three times and I definitely will come back!
