As someone highly allergic to dairy it was exciting to hear that this vegan gluten free bakery opened in the area. Unfortunately it was a bit of a let down. For bakery items my family got cupcakes and donuts. The cupcakes were decent, not dense like a usual gluten free cupcake but there was no flavor to the cake. The vanilla one just tasted plain. The strawberry cheesecake donut had a great icing to it but the donut itself was dense and not like a donut at all. The frozen Katz donuts from the grocery store are better. Each pastry was $6 which seems overpriced for a barely mediocre dessert and they are not huge either. We took home the blueberry waffles($12 for a whole waffle which was cut up into 1/4 sections) , they are ok. The flavor tasted like a normal blueberry waffle and the texture was ok. Very average waffle. The mac and cheese ($16 for 2 servings) I got was very off putting. The cheese flavor was good, comparable to follow your heart brand but the noodles were awful, I made sure not to overheat it but somehow they came out very chewy. I want to give this place another go but am hesitant to due to the price point and a poor first impression.
The food was absolutely delicious! We were thrilled with their great selection of gluten-free options, which allowed us to enjoy a wonderful meal without worrying about our gluten allergy.
I don’t get to make it to this type of town very often but when I do, I make it a point to stop by and get their gluten-free chicken tenders and french fries. For somebody who eats gluten-free it’s the little things in life that really make a huge difference in your day.

This place is an unbelievable combination of scene, food, and vibe. Excellent DJ on Tuesday. I’m not sure what they could do to improve, but I really liked it. Get the Trees appetizer, top notch gluten free broccoli and cauliflower. Very handicap friendly and accommodating patrons. Overall a really nice place! I wrote this review even before our table was finished eating and I regret nothing
Excellent server went out of her way to accommodate gluten free & dairy allergens & champagne & wine. Food was excellent- especially the gluten free Brussels! We ordered a variety of house salads, salmon & smoked salmon on toast w goat cheese. Never disappointed!

Swanky vibe with many, many options that can be made gluten free. However, the drinks are overpriced and do not taste great, and the food does not offer value for money. Like everything, it's highly overpriced. Service was great, however.
I had not heard of nor tried Bolay Kitchen before this event, so this was my first time here. I live in Pinellas so it was a little bit of drive to get to them but I can honestly say the drive was worth it! I came in during what I would have assumed to be dinner rush time but aside from myself there was only 1 other customer in the restaurant which struck me as odd.
I was indecisive as to what to actually order for my first time here but after talking to one of the staff members, I decided to go with his recommendation & ordered the the steak street salad bowl, & I am so glad I did! The steak was cooked perfectly, the chimichurri tomatoes were amazing, & the creamy garlic & herb dressing brought the whole bowl together! I got a chocolate chip cookie which was still soft & sweet, so I knew it was just made today. I also got the berry patch tea to go with it, the tea was nice & refreshing, I got a refill of the tea but switched it up & got the mandarin cardamon tea. That tea was a bit more robust but still delicious & satisfying.
The restaurant layout & atmosphere is really nice, I liked learning they are gluten free. I honestly don't know why there weren't more people here, but I will definitely be making the trek back over here again soon!
The great menu here that offers and highlights each vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-friendly options is great. I loved the tomaro soup and sweet potato chips.
The back ground music is very loud both inside at accessible tables and out door accessible tables. Indoors they also offer a full bar with high top car seats and 2 TVs.
Accessible entry and exit with several single and double doors, which made finding the his read a bit of a challenge. Outside accessible men and women restrooms with accessible sink, grab bars, and more than 5ftx 5 ft space
Free van accessible grave parking for Midtown venues
Make sure you triple check with the manager and make sure their fryer isn’t down…half the waiters know a lot about allergies and the other half are oblivious. I ate there twice with no issues and knowledgeable waiters, but the last time I was there, the waiter didn’t know about the fryers and I got glutened.
Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and solid gluten-free options!
I’m celiac and eat gluten-free, and I had the entrée salad with shrimp, it was delicious and I didn’t get sick. I was hoping it would come with ham as well (like the side salad appetizer the rest of the family ate), so next time I’ll ask for both shrimp and ham on the entrée salad.
The architecture and ambiance are beautiful, and we really enjoyed the two pitchers of sangria — definitely a 10/10!
The only downside was the service staff was very kind and friendly and did they best they could. Our group of 8 felt a bit forgotten, and after waiting to order dessert and water refill, we paid and left after about two hours.
Overall, it was a great experience. I’d definitely recommend going with a smaller group (maybe 3–6 people) for a smoother visit.
Overall a great experience at On Swann! One of the ladies in our group is gluten free and they had a separate menu for her and were very accommodating. Drinks were delicious and the apps were so yummy too! We were a bit unimpressed by the entrees but totally a great place for drinks and apps. Our waitress was fantastic!
Server Justus B was amazing and our family wants him to serve us every time in. Food is always consistently great, and the Lobster tail, Victoria’s filet, and the dessert mountain Downunder vanilla ice cream on gluten free brownie are all the families favorite. Thank you Justus B for making my night!
If you’re looking for a dining experience that feels like a warm hug from the ocean, look no further than Ocean Prime in Tampa! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with smiles that could light up the entire Gulf Coast. The service here is not just exceptional; it’s like having your own personal cheerleader for the evening!
Now, let’s dive into the culinary treasures we enjoyed! We kicked things off with the shrimp cocktail, which was a delightful selection of ocean-fresh shrimp that practically danced off the cup. Each succulent bite was a celebration of the sea, perfectly chilled and served with a zesty cocktail sauce that had us saying, "More, please!"
Next up were the cocktails: the spicy dirty martini and the black orchid. The martini had just the right kick to awaken our taste buds, a spicy and smooth little number that kept us on our toes. And oh, the black orchid! This cocktail was as beautiful as it was delicious—a floral masterpiece that made us feel like we were sipping on a sunset. Seriously, if you’re not Instagramming this drink, are you even living?
For the main event, we indulged in the scallop risotto and a perfectly cooked filet. The risotto was creamy and dreamy, with scallops so tender they practically melted in our mouths. Each bite was a heavenly reminder of why we love dining by the sea. And the filet? Cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right. It was like a culinary hug from a medium rare steak!
As we savored every last bite, the service continued to impress. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a recommendation or a witty quip that made the evening even more enjoyable. It felt like we were dining with friends rather than just staff. Oh, and they were so accommodating for my gluten allergy and even had fluffy gluten free bread!
In a nutshell, Ocean Prime in Tampa is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in an exquisite culinary experience!
Fantastic food. French fries were perfect. Great selection of BBQ sauces. Friendly waitress, chatted with us for a bit and ensured us she made it part of her own mission to take extra care when prepping GF food like we ordered for my celiac daughter.
The place was full of doctors, EMTs, firemen and the like, and the whole restaurant standing to salute the flag while the anthem played at noon was both unexpected and moving.
Sweet Soul was definitely sweet to the soul. It was a great visit with great service.
It's part of the locally owned Ciccio Restaurant Group, and kind of follows the same type of bowl concept as the other restaurants. The twist is that it's basically plant based and dairy free. They also have lots of gluten free options. I was seriously blown away by the taste of the PB and GF dark chocolate chip cookies. They were fresh, soft, and oh so chocolaty. I didn't miss the dairy one bit.
Anyway, I was set on having a swirl of 2 soft serve flavors. I just wasn't sure if they could swirl the Yelp's 5-Star strawberry with matcha. I'd only seen pictures of it with the chocolate. Well, I was so happy to hear that they could do that with 2 of my favorite flavors. It was a good match. The blueberries, strawberries, and coconut flakes went perfectly with it. I only wish I had chosen the Nutella drizzle instead of the honey. The Nutella apparently hardens up on the soft serve and kind of keeps it all together. They did recommend it, but I was kind of going for a healthier option. The honey was good but maybe too heavy for it. I'll know for next time.
Yes, there will be many next times. I totally want to go back and try the Italian Stallion and the acai bowls. I definitely need to get more of those cookies as well. It was the perfect morning full of enjoyable weather and wholesome treats.
Kris was a great server! Friendly, professional, and detail oriented. He took care to make sure to get our orders right and make sure they were marked as having to be gluten free. He was attentive but not intrusive. Made our visit great. We will be back.
This place is so great! Wish we lived closer, we’d go all the time. The gentleman making our bowls was so so nice. We had gluten free restrictions and he was very knowledgeable of the options. The restaurant was extremely clean and overall super great. He even gave us dole whip samples!! 100/10
