I called in at this delightful place checking their menu. I told our waiter that I was coeliac, and his reply was “ you’ve come to the right place.” To hear this when at time you struggle to find a place that understands coeliac was a great relief.
I shared their “Insalata di Tomino al Forno” with my brother. They provided me with “mini gluten free pita bread” to eat with it. I enjoyed it very much. My main was “Rigatoni Salmón y Vodka” which again was very tasty.
As a coeliac, I am always cautious, and whenever dining out take a glutguard tablet, which has an enzyme to help stop issues with very small amounts of cross contamination. I don’t think I needed it here, but did so anyway.
A delightful gluten free meal served by lovely staff.

Excellent place to eat, all the food is delicious and on top of that it is gluten-free and lactose-free.
The space is not very big, but the place is perfect if you have celiac disease, the food is great and the pastries even better, it is a very good place to go have a coffee in the center of Coruña
I feel 100% recommendable, the food was spectacular (the best gluten-free food I have ever tried in my life), the place was super warm and the waiter who served us was attentive and super friendly. Without a doubt we would always return!!!
Absolutely incredible! Went for lunch, 3 courses and a wine for €12.5, what a bargain! The glass of vino was delicious! Most incredible value for money in Spain. So many dessert options, it was hard to choose. Poached pear was divine! Friendly service. The gluten free bread which accompanies the entree was also delicious. Cannot recommend this place more highly.
I am walking the coastal route of the Portuguese Camiño de Santiago, and being coeliac, have had to be very careful eating along the way. I have been using the ‘Atly’ app which lists places that have gluten free items in their menu, some of which have cross contamination issues.
It was an absolute joy to come across this bakery and patisserie which is 100% gluten free. Walking in there and smelling the fresh bread baking, and seeing the large variety in offer was so wonderful. There was a great variety of artisan bread on offer, bread rolls, tasty muffins, chocolate brioche and goodness knows what else. My brother and I sat down and enjoyed a coffee with cake, and I then purchased some supplies for the road. As I was leaving the proprietor gave me 2 wonder go smelling warm dinner rolls. They are so good!! (I did miss the gluten free Vegemite from home to put on them 😊).
Thank you so much! Pontevedra is fortunate to have you.

A different place that we really liked, variety and above all we were able to eat gluten-free by sharing the dishes so as not to make anyone feel outside the group.

Delicious, varied, and high-quality gluten-free food. We're missing more vegetarian options, but what's available is delicious.
100% confident regarding gluten.
It is a delight to be able to eat in a restaurant with the entire menu GLUTEN FREE and with normal prices. Croquettes, squid, octopus, etc. including desserts. A 10 in everything.

The best ice creams in Galicia and with 2 lactose-free flavors (I hope they release more) and very careful with people with celiac disease
Everything I've tried from this place is incredible. I asked for personalized details for my business and they made everything perfect.
Without a doubt a great option for celiacs.
I will repeat without a doubt!
The food is delicious, the staff super nice and the restaurant is cozy and with a good atmosphere. They give a free tapa of broth as soon as you arrive. They have gluten-free options, all desserts are gluten free. I recommend the dulce de leche dessert 😋

super experience! From the first moment, the service was fantastic, especially the waitress, who was super attentive. One of us couldn't eat gluten, and they not only took that into account, but they adapted some dishes without a problem. They also had gluten-free options that did not appear on the menu. They had gluten-free bread and it had plenty of flavor.
We decided to eat on the terrace because the sun was shining and it was great. We ordered the grilled prawns, the octopus and the brothy lobster rice, and everything was full of flavor. The portions are more than generous; In fact, we ordered the rice only for one person thinking about sharing, since with the starters and desserts it seemed like enough... in the end we couldn't even finish the rice! We were so full that dessert will have to wait until next time.
In short: quality, quantity and unbeatable price. If we return to the area, we will surely repeat and try other dishes, because we are left wanting more. They made us feel super well taken care of and that improves your trip! Thanks for everything.
I totally recommend it. We had a very good breakfast. We are two celiacs and they had the menu adapted. My son ate pancakes with Nutella and I ate bread with oil, tomato and cheese. With the coffee he brought us some complimentary gluten-free cookies. They had never offered that to me in so many years that I have had my problem. I will repeat if I return to Santiago.
The tuna and meat dumplings are to die for. We took several back home and froze them. They are crunchy and delicious, and I am not celiac, I eat them with my celiac partner. Good size, homemade food and very very tasty. Recommended 200%. And for dessert, phoskitos

We arrived looking for a restaurant with gluten-free options and although they don't specify it on their menu, the staff confirmed that they had some options. Being in Betanzos it was obvious that we were going to order tortilla and it was delicious!
We are delighted with Antía, our waitress today, a wonderful person who completely understood my panic with cross contamination and so on.
I hope they add gluten-free options to the menu soon.

A must-stop at Combarro. 10/10 service, delicious food. We mentioned there was someone with celiac disease at our table, and it was no problem; they checked for allergens. The meats were listed on the menu as containing gluten because the potatoes can contain traces even if they're cooked in a separate fryer.
A safe bet. You never look bad here.
A beautiful restaurant, spectacular service and delicious food.
We prepare everything gluten-free, you just have to ask for it.
PERFECT!!!

We went with a friend who has celiac disease and she helped us at all times to adapt the few dishes that have gluten so that she could eat them.
The food is delicious, they welcomed us with some homemade tortilla chips with three different sauces. The bleeding a 10.
Very attentive and friendly service.
We will return for sure.
We had breakfast two Saturdays in a row as a family at O Sendeiro and both times we were all delighted by the quality of the products, their preparation, the attention, the friendliness, the flexibility (there was a celiac and lactose intolerant person and they prepare delicious adaptations)... conclusion: a more than recommended place. Outstanding in everything. We will return. 🤩

We went to buy Santiago cakes and asked if there were any gluten-free cakes (we didn't know that all Santiago cakes are gluten-free). That is why they gave us the normal one (gluten-free) and one of 1/2 kg (with gluten) when we really wanted the same size and we did not know that it was such a quantity, in order to sell us that large cake and not offer us two cakes from Santiago normal. Because if we had known, we would have bought two identical cakes! Since half of my family are celiacs!
We left things at the store to pick them up later. When we arrived to pick it up, we decided to buy another cake and try to exchange the 1/2kg cake for a normal one. They told us no, it couldn't be changed. We offered to buy something else to be able to equal the price difference between both cakes since it was a shame to throw away such a large cake because we wouldn't be able to eat it. They told us that it was not exchanged and that she did not know how to return it with the box. In addition to all this, we also noticed that the 1/2 kg cake had a recent expiration date... we weren't going to be able to eat it.
So be careful when buying cakes there because no matter how much you want, they do not allow you to exchange them with a ticket or even without leaving the cakes from the same establishment.

Excellent food and excellent treatment. They adapt everything for people with celiac disease, so far we have been twice but they will surely like it more.
I like places to eat with good service for celiacs. And this restaurant offers that service with a high score: well-prepared food, also desserts, and interesting prices, without overdoing it. A place in Betanzos to return to, without hesitation!
👏👏👏
