One the best bars in the Dotonbori area, Shiho-chan runs the entire place by herself so it might get a bit busy at peak times, but while you wait you can grab a drink (self serve open bar for 200 only!!! You can literally prepare anything you want). The okonomiyaki is not the traditional type of Osaka but a gluten free version, and it tastes amazing. I am not celiac nor vegan and I came back 4 times, the “addictive beef” menu option is great and indeed very addictive. I came here every night I stayed in Osaka just for the vibes, don’t listen to the bitchy reviews by sour locals, if you are a young traveler and wanna socialize and have a good time, this is the perfect place for you.

Meals for coeliac person are prepared separately. They were very knowledgeable about the options for a gluten free diet. Delicious! I highly recommend 😊

Amazing! Amazing! Lovely staff and a cosy little cafe. We arrived late in the day, 5.30 (close at 6pm) and they accommodated us for a quick dessert. They had sold out of their rice flour bread so couldn’t get the sandwiches. Highly recommend.

This is a true gem for vegans and such. The place is run by a lady who does everything and is so sweet. The food is delicious and the concept is genius. Even if you are not vegan nor gluten-free, I recommend trying these alternatives to typical Osaka dishes. Ps: best miso soup I've ever had!

Excellent gluten free vegan curry (I was too busy enjoying it to take photos) and drink! I got the takeaway curry in a cup - It was perfect! All gluten free, well labeled menu with pictures and friendly service. Definitely recommend this one 🙂
