Really enjoyed our lunch, served by Zeel. Very pleasant, lovely server. Lots of gluten free options including laffa/pita bread. Wed is 1/2 price bottles of wine which we didn't notice until leaving, and we're not informed. Will definitely return.

Delicious gluten-free as well vegan baked goods, maybe the lavender coconut milk latte was a bit too adventurous, but that wasn’t the fault of either the coffee or the preparation. Friendly, helpful server who heated up the two year-old’s baby food as well as our orders so we could all eat together. Quiet and clean. Only downside is that even if you eat in you still get single-use dishes.

A common conversation of mine these days is about the feeling of dismay I have because it feels as though customer service has become obsolete. Our server today, Emon, at Il Fornello (Bayview Village) was a ray of hope. On a busy Friday night dinner service, he still kept a close eye on our table and got us what we needed before we even had to ask: refilled our water and our bread basket, gave us extra plates, provided extra napkins, and fresh cutlery. To Emon, thank you for making our dinner experience so enjoyable. Also love that the restaurant provides so many alternatives for vegan and gluten-free diets - especially for an Italian restaurant! The vegan sausage was great. The pasta dish I ordered was a little oily and needed some salt, but I put the vegan parm on it instead of table salt and it really lifted the flavour.

Service is swift and engaging. Dietary needs and variations are always accommodated for graciously. Gluten Free and Vegan options exist and all curries are made with coconut milk. 5 stars for flavaaa + the lamb shank biryani.
