I ordered a latte and it was warm, not hot. Someone else made it for me and said he would make it extra hot, but it was also just warm. I just wanted a hot latte that I could sip at the beginning, but both of their attempts returned one that I could have immediately gulped down. On the plus side, the latte did taste great. The people are really nice and the leaf pattern on the top of the latte was very impressive. They also have a bunch of pastries, but all of their gluten-free options had already sold out when I was there in the early afternoon. I would try other places around nearby before I go back to this place.

Pros: Amazing food! Gluten free great bread! Fun drinks, extremely good prices. All in all a great place I go to frequently. Some customers don't like the customer service, but I've always had a good experience with them. Always friendly, quick, and efficient with me. I appreciate the staff. Cons: Very dirty, ceiling over the kitchen, walls, and seats really need to be cleaned. Maybe hire a cleaner once a month to do a deep clean 🤷🏼.

Visited Cafe Veloce for the first time yesterday and WILL BE BACK. We came with a small group for lunch yesterday and it was wonderful. Fun space, Gluten Free pasta options and exceptional service! Such a great experience!!

Absolutely glowing review for Deru! From the moment we contacted Deru for our wedding cake, we knew we were in excellent hands. Lezlie's professionalism and genuine care were evident from the start. We opted for their signature carrot cake, and it was, without exaggeration, the best carrot cake we've ever tasted. It was moist, flavorful, and absolutely divine – we are still receiving compliments from our guests weeks later! The logistics of delivering to the Space Needle take a little extra care, but Lezlie handled it with grace and punctuality. She arrived precisely on time, ensuring our cake was perfectly placed and ready for our celebration. What truly set Deru apart was their attentiveness to our guests' dietary needs. We had guests with a tree nut allergy and others requiring gluten-free options. Lezlie thoughtfully recommended a delicious mini chocolate cake for the nut allergy, which was a huge hit. For our gluten-free guests, she offered their incredible jam drop cookies, which were equally raved about. This level of personalized service and consideration was beyond our expectations. Our florist added some simple flowers to the cake, which complemented its natural beauty perfectly. The cake itself was a masterpiece, and Deru's attention to detail made it a truly unforgettable part of our wedding. If you're looking for a wedding cake that not only tastes incredible but is also crafted with care and personalized service, look no further than Deru. Today I give them 4 stars for listening and leaning in to new ways to lead with integrity, kindness and inclusivity. Will be back in a month to see where it goes and update at that time. Staff were kind and helpful. Baked goods include one vegan berry bar baked in house and a gluten free option. Be great to see organic berries used . Interior warm and calming The bad news is non dairy milk- so all of you macros intolerant, milk allergic, compassionate choosing plant milk, vegan etc you will be charged a whopping $1.25 This is cost prohibitive for many especially students. Be a leader. Please explore having your prices be more equal - if you need to charge a bit more on regular coffees, cow milk, baked goods, etc. just spread it out so you don't penalize those choosing whether for medical, health, the environment or out of compassion for animals... non dairy milks. Informing my datapoints include having worked on a family farm on the Olympic Peninsula during college. This price is exceedingly high compared to nearby coffee places Next review will advise more about beans and the nut and plant based milk costs
