Beacon Cafe breakfast is delicious. In addition to a full menu for all, their gluten free pancakes are incredible. Their flavored coffees rival the drive through coffee spots. I wish more people knew about this hidden gem.

I’ve visited both locations, and unfortunately, this is the only one where I’ve consistently had issues. I truly love the food, but this is now the fourth time my order has been incorrect. I always order the Better Than “Tuna” Wrap with a gluten-free tortilla due to my gluten allergy, which I always order online. The first time, I didn’t realize it wasn’t a gluten-free tortilla until I got to my workplace in Dallas, at which point it was too late to correct, and I had to throw it away since I couldn’t eat it. Since then, I’ve made it a point to check my order before leaving, and it still gets made incorrectly every time. It’s always the same staff member so I am not sure if it’s just her. Four mistakes is excessive, especially when the receipt clearly says “gluten-free tortilla.” Food allergies need to be taken seriously, and I hope this can be addressed so that more care is taken moving forward.

Ingrid provided one of the best catering experiences I have ever experienced. The food was amazing. She catered to gluten free and other specialty food needs. The organic lemonade was to die for. The over all atmosphere she provided couldn’t have been any better. I would highly recommend going to her restaurant and having her cater any events you may be hosting or attending!
