Their gluten free red velvet cheesecake is super delicious!!! I was able to enjoy it safely as someone with Celiac's (basically gluten allergy) as they reassured us they used precautions 😁

My server was very attentive to my gluten allergy and ensured everything I ordered was appropriate (through the chef). While my options were quite limited and the menu did not indicate either way, the server (unfortunately cannot remember his name) took it upon himself to truly ensure I was informed. If you're serving food you should know what's in it and he took that to heart. Thank you.

I wouldn’t have even cared what my ice cream tasted like because the customer service I received here was beyond amazing and I would come back just for that! We had 4 adults and 4 kids come in and Lindsey was EXTREMELY patient, kind, and went above and beyond for us. My sister and her son have a celiac disease and therefore asked for gluten free cones. Lindsey immediately said “would you like me to change my gloves”. (A+++) She then very patiently got all of our ice creams without making us feel rushed or unwanted. After we paid and sat down she then went above and beyond and asked if any of us would like water! Some of us said yes and she quickly got us all water. Lindsey, you are a rock star!!! Thank you for treating us so well! Also- ice cream was great!

Delicious, genuine Malaysian food at an affordable price point. The atmosphere in a smoky casino and candor of the chef/owners made this restaurant our most interesting stop after the recent hail storm in Carson City! The chef/owners were extremely conscientious of any guest allergens and dietary restrictions, making it easy for any gluten-intolerant person to interact with their menu. :) You couldn’t find better service in a big city like Vegas!

I have to maintain a strict gluten-free and dairy free diet due to unfortunately severe medical conditions. As a result, we call around to many restaurants when we get into a new area and ask them if they can handle my dietary restrictions. Most say “no”. Some say “no guarantees”. But every now and then you come across the rare exception who says “No problem. We’ll make whatever you need”. The Villa Basque Deli did exactly that. They had a huge menu and modified it for me in a way that made the meal authentic and yet gluten free and dairy free. It was fantastic. Every single request had the same answer “no problem” The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable. The Owners (who wait tables or cook or make sure that the food is done right) are exceptionally pleasant. I highly recommend Villa Basque and it will be a stop for me any time I am in Carson City.
