Ugh. Food based on fresh produce (omelette with real eggs, the banana bread is great), all gluten-free. We arrived around 8:20 a.m., 1st customers in the room. Very noisy environment, it's even worse in the room than near their counter: noise from fridges and/or air conditioning and/or coffee grinding constantly. The 3 together is unbearable. High prices, room cleaning not optimal. The tallest waitress is also the only one who really smiles; the other one seemed annoyed just talking to us. The cook did not respond to our hello.

In celebration of Black Restaurants Week here in LA, I decided to check out Swift Cafe. Swift Cafe did not disappoint. Having checked out the menu beforehand, the one thing I knew that I was going to order was the Tiramisu smoothie. They have dishes I've never heard of or seen anywhere else (e.g. beet dumplings). It was breakfast time so I ordered the sweet potato hash. OMG...the flavors! It's one of the most affordable menu items and certainly one of the most delicious. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the stellar service. The gentleman at the counter was super friendly, chill, and accomodating. My friend who was with me is gluten-free and he was able to make spot-on recommendations for her. Note: During COVID time they're not serving the full menu. But their current offerings are delicious, nutritious. It was well worth the trip. Can't wait to return and try those beet dumplings.

The cutest cafe! I love that the options are endless in customizing your own sandwich and everything is fresh! I’ve had the tuna melt (got it 4 times in a row because it’s so good!) and caprese sandwich (added sundried tomatoes- delicious!) so far and they were both fantastic! I also love that they have gluten free bread available and to all my g-free eaters - it’s the GOOD STUFF! Everyone who works there is warm and welcoming; I always look forward to stopping there during lunchtime!

Consistent, delicious, clean food that’s full of flavor and soul! I’m completely gluten free and soy free. I typically avoid Vegan restaurants due to the over influx of soy! Crystals doesn’t use any soy and has a vast array of gluten free item and/or you can make the item gluten free. I order like five items each visit and take orders to go! And I still have more items to explore!!! I love this family business! Thank you for your dedication to good health and quality tasty food!!!!
