I had a pretty disappointing experience at Cafe Inc today.We usually go to Cafe Botannix at Palmers each saturday, but they don't have many GF options for me, so I thought I would try Cafe Inc. I got the kids an almond croissant and when we cut into it found it was filled with custard. The kids tired it but didn't like it, and it wasn't what we thought we ordered. So I took it back and explained that we wanted a plain almond croissant and the kids won't eat this one, and I can't due to being Coeliac, and there was no sign saying it was custard filled nor could you tell by looking at it. And asked if they could please replace the croissant with one without custard. Unfortunately they refused despite trying to get them to understand but they continued to insisted that we buy a new one. They didn't even offer any solution apart from spending another $8.50. It's pretty poor service considering we brought multiple items that day. I felt sorry for the young staff who clearly wanted to make it right, but the manger/owner wouldn't budge. I certainly won't be returning ever again, which is shame, as the original owners were so considerate and always happy to make it right and they do have a lot of GF options. But I would rather take my custom where its appreciated.

My new born has allergy's that come through my breast milk, I thought my eating out days where over! But gone burger has a dairy, gluten and soy free burger which is also vegan! ( I'm not vegan but I'm sure you could switch for a meat pattie but I actually love the vegan burger) They have a separate allergy free oil that they can do chips in, I can have a whole meal, I know most people reading this probably don't care but I literally got watery eyes eating a full take out meal for the first time in ages! My partner says their other burgers are absolutely smashing and tries a different one everytime! We have never had any cross contamination issues and we frequently eat here 10000/10 recommend!!

Only ubered from here and got the bubble and squeak being gluten free. First time meat portion wasn't quite right poached eggs slightly over cooked and hollandaise was lacking and got a gut ache afterwards. They responded with a Voucher to order again this time meat portion seemed better eggs were perfect onion however was chunky and not fully cooked hollandaise same issue already feel my stomach turning so not sure if that's related to this food specifically having gluten or just something else new setting me off 🤣 the fact they seemed to have taken some constructive criticism on board and improved is much more then most do and the lack of sauce I suspect could be easily remedied if you actually ordered at the restaurant. As dumb as this might sound what is the packaging made of the food comes in ?
