Love this place! Old school pancake house vibes. Friendly and attentive staff, which seems rare. Good food and good prices. Don't price gouge you on the gluten free options.
Now if they just had kitchy merch to take home with you 😉. I collect mugs, just saying.
On my visit again list.
SoulFood is like a second home to me. The vibes and atmosphere are so welcoming. As a full time student, I come here at least 2-3x/wk to study. Not to mention, their coffee is amazing. Lots of care and attention to detail goes into every cup. Also lots of gf options which I really appreciate as someone who is gluten free. And the staff are all so kind and wonderful! I feel very safe here as a queer person and love all the events they offer in this space. Thank you 💛🙏🏼
It was amazing! I rarely get to eat avocado toast, but they had gluten-free bread. I could have had most of the menu because of their gluten-free options!
As someone with celiac disease, this was a standout dining experience that I highly recommend. All the food (including my GF pasta) was fantastic, waitstaff was knowledgeable, and they’re careful about celiac precautions. Gorgeous space with a great atmosphere. Had one of the best beef salads of my life which is really saying something
Staff was extremely active and kind, my wife and I both have celiac and the hostess was extremely understanding and accommodating. The food was well worth the price, the oysters were fresh and delicious
If you have someone trying oysters for the first time, bring them here.
The only suggestion is making the menus slightly clearer on formatting for allergies (capitalizing GF or adding a symbol to menu items that are would be helpful)
While I wish there were more gluten free options, my Cobb salad was great and I would gladly eat that again. It had fantastic components and each worked well together to craft a beautiful salad.
