Food, service and atmosphere were all just okay. Nothing was extraordinary. I was told that the quesadilla and chimichanga couldn’t be made gluten-free. I ended up ordering the las enchiladas and chile con queso. If I was already in the area, I’d stop by and try different versions of the gf corn taco but I definitely would not drive back solely to eat at this restaurant.

I have Celiac Disease and was thrilled to eat at the delightful Federal Grill last night. I was visiting the building got an appointment and it caught my eye because it has such a pretty facade. I asked the Manager, Jared Godfrey, how well they coped with Gluten Free issues fit a Celiac and he immediately told me he could make me CHICKEN FRIED STEAK from scratch!! Music to my ears since that is SO RARE in our world. They made it from rice flour and served it with delicious mash potatoes and a GF brown gravy for speed but we could have chosen to wait for a white sauce to be made from scratch. My friend had their regular Champaign vinaigrette salad and loved it. She also enjoyed the cornbread that they brought to the table. It’s a little pricey but well worth the money as everything was so fresh and tasty. A very popular find and truly delightful experience.
