An amazing meal with a great view. We got to sit upstairs so the scenery was great. We came specifically for my friend who has celiac to have fish and chips. Also ordered the brussel sprouts and the bread basket. Everything tasted great. Would love to come back!
I can't believe we have such an amazing place with delicious gluten free options right here in our little town! Everything I've tried here has been DELICIOUS and I've tried almost everything on the menu at this point.
The cold pressed juices made on site are to die for - I especially love the pink one. My kiddo begs me to go out of my way to buy them for him! They've been doing some incredible weekly specials lately too. The one I had today has their house made kimchi and I was in heaven eating it. One week they had these unbelievable gluten free pancakes with lemon curd and it was the absolute best đ„°đ
The staff is great too - if you're a nerd like me make sure to chat them up about Magic the Gathering haha. I have made visiting Green Door a weekly tradition. It's my little special treat to myself after a long week. I cannot reccoment it enough.
A consistent classic diner breakfast spot with gluten free toast and gluten friendly pancakes available. My go to pick is the Junior Plate, but if really hungry will get the Bacon and Eggs. Tried the Kielbasa Skillet with smoked chicken kielbasa substituting hollandaise sauce for the country gravy and would order this again but rarely since it was rich. The Marionberry syrup is a favorite for pancakes, but they also have sugar free maple syrup available. A great choice for large groups with indoor seating only. All locations are extremely popular and can get busy, but is worth the wait.
Here's a review of a local coffee house bistro:
5++ out of 5 stars âïž
I had the pleasure of visiting the Astoria Coffeehouse & Bistro in downtown Astoria. I was thoroughly impressed with the vibes, energy and variety of pastries, including gluten-free options. It felt so warm and welcoming of an atmosphere to enjoy a meal or just a cup of your favorite coffee. The decor was a mix of modern, artsy and internationally acquired pieces. So many different seating areas were available from dark and cozy to warm with plenty of natural light.
They have multiple menu boards to satisfy the daily drip coffee drinker or even the most advanced hot elixir conneseur. Large jugs of fresh water are stationed as soon as you step through the door. And if youâre a bit more adventurous, they also have a chic bar to the left of the service counter. Bar seating is available to enjoy a good conversation with the bartender.
The coffee was top-notch, with a wide variety of flavors and brewing methods to choose from. I opted for my usual drip coffee with cinnamon, cayenne pepper and honey. This is one of the few places that offer that combination of spices to lift the Samurai foodieâs spirit.
The pastry selection was also impressive, with delicious chocolate/almond/ regular croissants, assorted macaroons, muffins and scones. You can even find freshly baked cookies and massive slices of chocolate, carrot or almond cake. It was great to also find many of the pastries were offered with a gluten-free option.
But what really sets this coffee house apart is the bistro menu. I ordered the biscuits & gravy ($10.95) and added a Bacon/egg sanwhich ($6.95). My order came with huge pair of wholesome biscuits from Table 360 Bakery & Bistro and a generous portion of gravy, Yumđ!! My sandwich was stuffed with thick, crispy, smokey bacon, melted cheese and fluffy scrambled eggs. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food and drink.
I highly recommend you to visit them for a relaxing coffee break or a deliciously satisfying meal. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. âïž âïž âïž âïž âïž đ«

Located on 11th street between Commercial street and Marine drive.
Gourmet experience, affordable price! Lots and lots of gluten-free options. Very helpful staff. Honestly one of the best lunches I have ever had. The atmosphere is cozy in the back of the restaurant, nice and bright in the front. Pure delight.
We had:
GF Rogue quesadillas (oodles of blue cheese and buffalo chicken)
Chicken nachos (tasty, crispy, good barbecue sauce)
Curry Quesadilla (apples, walnuts, chicken, cheese, And the best damn honey mustard Iâve ever tasted in my life.)
Chips and salsa are great too, love the red white and blue chips, the salsa is fresh and cold and refreshing.
The gentleman who took our order was most helpful, professional and very sweet.
If I could give 10 stars I would! A word of warning, if you come here youâll want to come back again and again.
