Something happened recently to the menu and it’s not for the better. So sad, seems so many restaurants go this way-changing things up to save money or ??? Today they had changed the layout of their menu and unfortunately changed some of the vegan items and not for the better. Their tofu was always really good, with a nice gluten free batter and sizeable pieces. Now they have tofu ‘cubes’ tossed in a light breading that is nothing like the batter on the chicken or like they previously used on the tofu. I got a pile of small cubes on a tray-I felt like I was given something off of the child’s menu. The barely-there batter added a bit of crunch but didn’t add much else. Everything else we got was overly greasy. The onion rings barely had any better clinging to them and were super oily. The brussel sprouts must be deep fried. They were so greasy that I soaked one napkins with a single sprout. There were only a few sprout halves, the rest of the basket was filled with really burnt leaves that were inedible. The slaw was also really oily. My husband enjoyed his chicken and the mac and cheese. For $40+ (no beer, only tap water) I doubt we will go back. So sad because decent vegan places are few and far between and we’ve always enjoyed coming here.

I placed an order online and needed a modification for the order as the modification wasn’t listed. The modification I asked for was for a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. I have had this done multiple times in the previous week. We have a gluten allergy and didn’t want the gluten free bun tonight. It was a kid burger with no option to select lettuce wrap in the app. When I called in to ask for the modification I was told they couldn’t accommodate the request, because they were too busy?!? I shared that this had been accommodated at least 3 times this current week. We asked to speak to the manager. I was put on hold. The manager returned to the line. I explained the situation to the manager and was again told they couldn’t accommodate the request. The general manager said they couldn’t do it. “It wasn’t priced in that system.” Really? The bun cost more than a lettuce wrap I would think. If I had sat down in the restaurant I am sure the request would have been accommodated. Why would you tell a paying customer you couldn’t accommodate a request in a restaurant/service industry? The request wasn’t ‘an anything extravagant. The request is a request you have fulfilled multiple times in the current week. The request is due to an allergy concern. How can you not swap lettuce for a bun? This was the second item of the order the first was for another burger and guess what that burger was ordered with as lettuce wrap with the ability to make the modification in the app. We have been a frequent customer of Butcher and Sprout and tonight we believe will be our last order. Don’t expect service with a smile.

Really cool spot. Love the outdoor seating. The food and drinks are great. Super casual setting. Great for families or on a date. Tons of variety with a good gluten free selection.

First watch is one of my all time favorite breakfast spots. They have some of the best drinks and great seasonal options. I highly recommend the cinnamon toast milk and the million dollar bacon. I especially appreciate that they offer gluten free bread.

Sat in outside patio. Tables too close to others and we could hear everything people were saying to one another. Unable to make gluten and dairy free accomodations. Won't go back 😞
