I believe I have already reviewed their location in Bexley Ohio (Columbus), but finally got ‘round to stopping in their Over the Rhine location. Lovely. Quaint, quality food. Simply the best baked goods you can get AND they are gluten free. Those two statements rarely get grouped together but thus is the genius of their recipes. If you ever get a chance to meet owners, Paul Michael and Geri you will quickly understand just why the place is so brilliant. They are passionate about what they do and it comes through in every bite. At this point I have tried everything on their menu and each item is as good as the next. They serve what I consider to be the finest lemon bar in the world and their brownie variants are truly exceptional. 5 stars!

Everything is gluten free! A Celiacs dream come true. Danny was a wonderful server. I especially love the El Jefe espresso drink and the sweet potato taco 😍

Fantastic spot! Absolutely delicious arepas, especially the steak and cheese ones. It is a pulled beef type of meat which was excellent. Plantain chips and the chicken and cheese arepas are also very good. Reasonable and fairly quick. Bonus, it is all gluten free! Take out and enjoy on the outdoor tables nearby

Transcendental empanadas, arepas bursting with fresh fillings, frosty beverages, and a little shop where you can scarf up South American comfort foods and ingredients. The Arepa Place is amazing. My first bite into the chicken empanada sent me on a long journey to a far away planet named Delicious Prime. I landed, mid chew, in a great battle of shredded chicken, buttery flaky fried crust, and an assortment of salsas. There was purple smoke, the screaming of my teeth, and a salty wave of energy that made me urinate my pants. Moments later my wife and daughter shook me awake and I found myself on the floor moaning like a cow in heat. "Are you okay?" they asked, frantically. My response, "more arepas. And some of that aguapanela." The EMT team, curious, ordered some as well. Then, with my EMT team, I transcended back into the fever dream of flavor. Dedicated gluten free. Cute wall decor.
