I hosted a bridal shower for 30 and it was lovely. Staff was attentive and helpful (Tuga, Jose, Uzman(sp?) as was the manager, Eric. Food was very good, although a bit tepid for me, but enjoyed by all. They easily accommodated a gluten-free request and child's lunch without any fuss. I worked with Nancy to arrange the event - she is very knowledgeable, easy to work with, and made good suggestions.
"I had an amazing experience, largely thanks to Bela! She was incredibly sweet and helpful, guiding me in creating delicious vegan tacos. As someone with vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-intolerant preferences, I often feel like a burden, but Bela made me feel welcomed and completely accommodated. She went the extra mile by making my coffee with coconut milk, which was absolutely delicious. Although the kitchen isn't fully gluten-free, Bela's attentiveness to my dietary needs made all the difference. The food was fantastic, and Bela definitely deserves a shout-out for her outstanding service!"
One of my favorite restaurants. I've visited this location multiple times. I've done breakfast and lunch. Day date with the hubby, breakfast with friends, lunch with the whole family and I've always had great food and service. There are so many different things to choose from whether you're vegetarian, gluten free or a meatatarian. Some of my favorites are their signature dish chilqueles, the skillet papi chuli and the perfectly unkosher. Their pancakes are delicious ( my littles had them) and omelets I've had the gatherer and Shepard. The diced potatoes are always cooked perfectly. I always enjoy watching all the delicious looking plates and bowls walk past my table as I eat. Today we saw the apple churos French toast & my friend would have changed her order if it hadn't been too late. I'm looking forward to trying their bananas foster French toast next time but the reese's ones look delicious as well. Who knows the chiqueles might call my name or lunch that day instead. If you haven't been you should try them. It's a comfortable welcoming environment where you don't feel rushed to hurry up and order, then eat and leave like some other restaurants. All of their food is delicious and their service from arrival to paying your check is great.
Charming restaurant with a very attentive and caring staff. We came by for a family style lunch after a funeral (12 of us). Being celiac, I couldn't eat any of the appetizers or main courses that other family members had pre-ordered. To be honest, I was fine with the salad I had. My partner said everything else was delicious, though. However, as soon as the manager realized my situation, he offered to make me a piece of chicken and a piece of tilapia sans gluten. It was a very sweet and thoughtful gesture, especially when he added some broccoli and rice on the side, since I couldn't have the pasta. The flavors were amazing! It's been 24 hours, and I haven't shown any symptoms. I don't know about cross-contamination for those who might be more sensitive than I am, but I will say I'm impressed by the thoughtfulness, generosity, and willingness to provide for a guest. I didn't get to see a menu, so I'm not sure about pricing, vegetarian/vegan ), or other options; but given the service I received, I'm pretty sure they're willing to discuss options if you have any dietary restrictions.
