The plate is a typical breakfast and lunch joint, but they are doing a fantastic job at it. They have a wide variety on their menu. And they even have gluten-free options. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent

The service is always friendly and fast. The food is decent. Gluten free options. The location is great- not to mention the beautiful patio and court yard. But there are a couple issues that affect the experience; the exhaust is very weak. It makes it very difficult to breathe inside. You also leave smelling of a strong pungent oder. Secondly, the music is alright, a bit loud- the main problem is the speakers are not the greatest quality. The bass is too high, making them vibrate at a high irritating frequency. So much so you can feel it. It makes it distracting to get any work done or read. Even with headphones or earplugs you can feel the rattle through the floor and the thin walls of this older establishment. I would love to see some upgrades to improve the experience. Still worthy of a visit nonetheless.

It was so good. Menu is randomly amazing (dishes inspired by South America, Africa, Malaysia and traditional American offerings, as well). .. they also offer a good selection for any gluten free or vegan peeps out there. I had the empanada breakfast and saw someone else order the African hash breakfast and it looked equally amazing. I’ll be returning to try that and the spicy chai latte. And they do have a QR code to order from and pay with card.
