Amazing food and service. My partner is gluten free and they made sure to take care of us. We had arepa and the chicken harvest soup. All very yummy. The lemon ricotta for dessert was not just the right amount of sweet. Also, matcha latte is to die for. Eat here, you won't regret.
Great service, cute atmosphere and healthy food choices. $10 milkshakes made with cashew milk. I thought it was ok but my hubby wasn’t fond of it. The gluten free vegan banana bread although healthy it tastes like it. I didn’t mind it but I believe some won’t tolerate it. Loved the vegan salad and hubby loved the vegan pancakes.
We arrived on a Saturday morning to a very busy line, however, they took our order very quickly and were able to bring our food to our table very fast as well. The chilaquiles with the Maya sauce was fantastic. They also offer a gluten-free substitute for every crepe which is awesome. My son ordered one of their secret menu items and was very happy with it. Definitely coming back
I love this place!! Their vegan chicken avocado burger is AMAZING and it automatically comes on gluten free bread! The bread is so good, my wife who isn’t allergic to gluten even likes the bread. It’s so nice to have such a tasty vegan AND gluten-free option!
Lively, no nonsense restaurant with great burger selection and good accommodations for gluten free/sensitive eaters. Unami fries were delicious and enjoyed the black and blue burger. Staff are friendly and service is quick considering how busy the place is. Highly recommend booking ahead as wait times for people seemed high.
Saltcreek is the staple of Santa Clarita! Over 25 years ago I was in high school and I went on one of my first dates there. The consistency in the food and the quality of the service is unparalleled to any other place in town. Greg Amsler has created an incredible go to in town. His attention to detail and his heart for giving back in the community makes this restaurant stand out above all others. There is not a charity event I go to in town where Saltcreek is not the most generous contributor. Jennifer Chadwick is so gracious and lovely, at the same time runs that place like a well oiled machine. She always makes sure everyone is taken care of. There have been times where I have been completely okay with my food, but it didn’t meet her standards, so she took my plate and replaced it with brilliance I didn’t even know I needed in my life. They must do a personality test when they hire because everyone who works there is so enjoyable to interact with. I love all the servers there, but my favorite is Anthony. He has a serious face at first, but he always remembers what I like to drink and he knows my favorite foods and he remembers my severe gluten allergy. I specifically ask for him, but if he is not available, I am never disappointed. Joey is my favorite bartender. He knows exactly what I like. He makes the best Old Fashion in town and he can just look at me and know what I’m in the mood for. Saltcreek is very careful with my allergy. They make the best steak in town! Their goat cheese marinara is my favorite thing in the world. If you are keto or gluten intolerant, order grilled chicken with the goat cheese marinara dumped on top of it! It will change your life!! Mmmmm! I’m so hungry now.
We had one of the nicest dining experiences we've had since we moved to the Santa Clarita Valley a year ago here at Olive Terrace Bar and Grill. We were there on a Thursday night after the super hot weather and it was lovely out on the patio with live jazz piano playing while we dined. Couldn't have been a nicer atmosphere.
The food was almost as good. There were plenty of vegetarian options on a very extensive menu which has some dishes that change seasonally.
I started with the spring cucumber gazpacho. This was the only thing that was really disappointing about the experience. I've had various gazpachos at different restaurants and always love the creativity behind a refreshing and often sweet soup. This gazpacho was unusually thick and had a strange sour aftertaste. I couldn't and didn't want to finish it.
My wife and I both got half sizes of the market grilled romaine salad which we both liked a lot. The grilled romaine lettuce was delicious, I definitely thought that there could've been more toppings on it. (I really wanted the watermelon feta salad but they didn't offer it in a half size like every other salad.)
My wife really enjoyed her linguine pesto made with gluten-free fusilli. It's nice that they have a gluten-free pasta option the pesto was fresh and even my son the picky eater, enjoyed it as leftovers the next day.
Probably my favorite part of the meal, what is the bread that came with it. The baguette was perfect and came with nicely salted butter and olive tapenade and an olive oil and balsamic dip. That was so cool! Often you just get one of those things with the bread service they bring in here I got to eat so much of a baguette trying all three!
We will definitely come back. The atmosphere was lovely, there's plenty more for us vegetarians to try, and it seems like this is probably one of the nicest places you can eat here in Santa Clarita.
We had a good experience at Black Bear Diner in Santa Clarita. It's a chain breakfast place where you can get lots of basic breakfast items in a bear-themed environment (without all the growling and mothers protecting their young which you get when real bears are around.)
The portions were huge so you definitely won't go hungry here and there are a million things to choose from, as well as plenty to eat for vegetarians, and gluten-free folks will do okay too. (Though the only gluten-free bread option is a hamburger bun.)
I had the "No Meat, Just the Eggs Please" which was a good amount of egg whites and an insane amount of crispy hashbrowns. They were cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning so were a bit bland. They were nice enough to sub a single "Sweet Cream Pancake" as my bread option. This was a generous-sized thing on its own and tasted as good as a pancake should.
The coffee was really good. Too often conventional breakfast places serve up weak coffee which just doesn't do the job. The mug they served me was filled with a bold, strong coffee that I would drink over and over. Well done!
Our kid enjoyed his breakfast burrito without meat...another giant portion which even he, with all his teenage eating prowess, could not finish.
And my wife was fine with her benedict meal served without bread (no gluten-free breakfast bread option.)
They did forget to bring our english muffin side until the end of the meal. We ended up packing it up and taking it with us with the rest of the leftovers.
It was a great surprise to have decent food, large portions, and really good coffee at a chain conventional breakfast spot. I'm a fan and will be back.
I really enjoyed the gluten free and vegan options! The drink that was sort of like an aviator was on point as well! Will be back now that I can eat more here!
I had the Terminator Pizza that was gluten free crust and it was amazing I showed no signs of cross contamination days after . Tomato Joes has always felt very safe and employees are knowledgeable.
This is a great place for tea, breakfast, brunch, or lunch. It is so nice to have a place that offers tea that you can just drop in on. They have a nice indoor and outdoor set up and don't take reservations unless it is for a group of 7 or more. In addition to a wide selection of teas, they have sandwiches, salads, and egg dishes. My only complaint is they don't have lemon curd for their scones. This is a nice place to meet a friend for a bite, treat your child to a fun treat, have a small party, or just treat yourself. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available and they feature a daily soup. The staff are also great.
We had good food our first time dining in at Wolf Creek after a good experience getting a couple of pizzas delivered. Both my son and I had a Roma Tomato-Basil pizza...wood-fired with a unique crust that is light and tasty albeit not traditional in its texture. These were good though the tomatoes on top presented the cheese from cooking as long as I would have preferred. (I dig the brown spots on not well-done, but done enough cheese pies.)
The bread and olive tapenade that came with the meal were definitely tasty.
They've got a great selection of house-brewed beers and I enjoyed the impressively tall glass that my Howlin' Hefeweizen came in. This was a good, light, wheat beer that could hold its own with any wheat beers out there.
The service was good too...I don't think our server could have smiled any more than he did.
There are a slew of vegetarian items to choose from including a portobello mushroom burger, Brussels, a Caprese sandwich, portobello fries, and more. They also have some gluten free items and are nice enough, at least on their website, to call out these items for anyone with those diets to quickly see if it's the right place for them.

I’m not vegan or gluten-free or anything like that, but after working out I crave something on the healthier side but still want it to taste great. Luckily I found Blossoms Sweet Kitchen and ordered their chocolate date bowl. OMG this was delicious. Tasted like dessert. The ingredients are such high quality, I honestly didn’t expect that out in an SCV food hall. And the bowl was beautiful too, just as advertised. I went back a week later and tried their mango gold smoothie. OMG again! Best mango smoothie ever. Tasted so fancy with the black peppercorn and turmeric and was just absolutely delightful. Def check this place out, it is incredible!
While with all my good allergies I couldn't eat anything except berries, coffee and a belini from the menu. With that being said, what I did eat was delicious and the service was great. Wish they had some gluten free vegan options!
Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service the most fantastic true Italian food. The restaurant offers gluten free pasta. I haven't had true traditional Italian food in a very long time.
We visited Marston's late one Sunday morning after a memory of a great experience years ago at their Pasadena location. Our diets and preferences have changed a little bit (ie my gluten-free wife was no longer going to order the blueberry pancakes which she remembers as being phenomenal) but we found an extensive menu with lots to choose from, and of course since it's a breakfast menu, we vegetarians had lots of options.
Minor initial disappointment in that the coffee was just okay. A little bit weak for my tastes. I like a super strong coffee and find that many breakfast places which, of course, have coffee, often don't prepare it right and it comes ot you as slightly flavored browned water. This was a little bit better than that, but, again, not as strong as I wanted it to be.
My wife and I both got egg dishes. I had the Just eggs with potatoes and an english muffin. These did the job and gave me the descent diner experience I was looking for. My wife thought the same for her florentine which she got without the English muffin as she is gluten-free.
It would be nice if they offered a gluten-free bread option of any kind.
Our kid had the soyrizo burrito which, even for his teenage metabolism, was generous enough in size that it lasted for 2 meals.
Marston's has a slightly more nicer/upscale vibe than your average diner in town and you can get just about anything you want for breakfast. We glanced at the dinner menu and there are definitely options for vegetarians too so we may give it a try one night!

Truly an amazing and satisfying experience of the freshest ingredients-farm to table. I’m so grateful to have found this cafe as meets all my dietary restrictions; I’m a gluten free vegetarian. I ordered the veggie wrap on gluten free bread (the veggie patty is without a doubt the best I’ve had in a very long time) and my sister got the Thai wrap as a bowl with scrambled tofu (I’m not a huge tofu scramble person, but I tried hers and it was so flavorful and delicious). The service was equally amazing; the staff was kind and friendly; I felt truly welcomed and appreciated their patience when I asked about the ingredients - the chef and his/her team also deserve a shout out, they know how to deliver dishes that are flavorful, fresh and healthy!!! Without all of these people plus the owners, I would be at a loss when it comes to finding what is now my favorite cafe when I come out to Santa Clarita🙏😊.h
Follow up: highly recommend the pumpkin soup 🥣 and rose hibiscus lemonade. So delicious 😋
