This place was awesome! Incredibly friendly staff, cool and inclusive environment, with gluten free options marked on the menu. The staff was also knowledgeable and super sweet. We are outside and our food was delicious. I have celiac and it was one of the best sandwhiches I’ve ever had.
Amazing food and service! I got the Redeemer Bowl and it was fantastic! The atmosphere is great, with subtle music and soothing lighting. I truly was amazed by how delicious everything was. Would absolutely recommend and go again!
The redeemer bowl: a vegan and gluten free bowl of rice, sweet potatoes, black beans, cauliflower, and a whole lot more deliciousness
My wife, daughter, and I had brunch at Flora Jean's following the annual Little Rock Marathon. This restaurant has a health-conscious menu and a super cute decor. Their menu is all vegetarian with many vegan and gluten-free options.
The pancake and biscuit were amazing. We all ordered an entree, and we're delighted with the flavors and portions. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in downtown Little Rock and prefer some healthier alternatives to basic brunch food!
Fun little restaurant with absolutely delicious food. I have celiac disease and was able to eat nearly anything I wanted on the menu. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and took care of my allergy needs. Everything was absolutely delicious and there was quite the lengthy drink menu available as well.
Timothy was AMAZING!!! He gets 5 stars alone!!! Knowledgeable, attentive, and kind!
Made sure all six of us were taken care of from the moment we sat down to the moment we left.
We had crab cakes, gnocchi, and bruschetta for apps, all DELICIOUS. Filets were perfect, carbonara was amazing, even our gluten free pasta entree was comparable to everything else.
The burgers were delicious! They had a gluten free bun option that tasted phenomenal. The ice cream was delicious, they had a non-dairy vanilla. The shake with cherries is the one. We enjoyed the purple vanilla also, what a fun idea! The service was spectacular. Everyone was so friendly, our server was so kind and very attentive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Thanks for a great company Christmas party! The fajitas were delicious, as were the chocolate covered strawberries. I am gluten free and had no issues. I appreciate the great service as well.
Food is amazing! Not only delicious but also beautifully plated. Service was great! Staff is very kind and their hosts Jazmin and Yuli took great care of us. This is our new favorite place for delicious healthy food as they offer a variety of foods including gluten free and vegan options.
I love this restaurant, it's hard to find places that actually have a healthy menu. My wife has gluten allergies and they several options for her to be able to eat without worrying about becoming sick.
Love the vibe here!! The coffee was great. The food was great. Many gluten-free options to choose from. This is definitely my new meeting spot in Little Rock!!
This was a great Google find. I was traveling across the country with gluten free and vegan dietary restrictions, which they easily accommodated. They were amazing and friendly and the food was delicious. I felt really happy and relaxed. The only downfall is it's too far away from my home to visit regularly.
Food is always divine here, especially for gluten free people. I swear the gluten free Pizookie is even better than the normal one. All the waiters here have been great especially Nora Jean!
I know this is going to be a bit of a lopsided review because I didn't actually eat in their restaurant, so I can't speak to their service or atmosphere. I actually got to taste their pizza at Splash Carwash. Having said all that...
Their pizza is by far the best that I have had in Little Rock, and I have tried quite a few different pizza establishments. My husband's family is Italian, so they are rather particular about Italian style foods (Don't mention Olive Garden around them, kind of a thing). But, my husband approved of it. I also found out they use a real Italian style oven to cook their pizzas in, needless to say, I know where we are bringing my in-laws next time they are in town.
Also, on a side note. They do have a gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza and one of the managers has Celiacs, so I think they must know what they are doing.
Great spot for food, and lots of vegan and gluten options. My wife is celiac and it’s safe to eat here. Food is always great, and their smoothies are awesome. One of our go to spots in town.
I thought this was such a lovely diner. While the vibes weren't spot on for what I may expect from a diner, the food was delicious and the service was top notch. It was great to hear how they work with local farmers to source their ingredients. Good options for vegetiarian + gluten free.
We normally love Kemuri and have long trusted it as a safe place to eat gluten- and dairy-free without incident, but today we had an uncharacteristic experience that I feel needs to be shared.
We had a reservation for 8:00, and when we arrived the restaurant was full except our table and very busy. We were seated on time for our reservation and our waiter quickly came to take our order, but everything after that went a bit sideways. We knew what we wanted when we sat down - edamame and a gluten- and dairy-free Kemuri Platter - and ordered when the waiter came by to get our drink order. He was up front with us about not knowing much about what ingredients are and aren’t gluten free but made sure to note it on our order and told us he would trust us to tell him if something wasn’t right.
It took over 30 minutes just to get our edamame, and around an hour to get the platter. When the platter arrived, there was tamago nigiri on the plate, and the two rolls had multiple ingredients containing gluten (tempura, eel sauce, and crabstick), which we did not catch until I took a bite of one. Our waiter didn’t come back for a while after, so eventually we each took a turn to try to go find him to no avail. When he did come back, we let him know about the rolls, and he immediately informed the manager. The manager came to our table and was very apologetic, pointed out that the tamago was also not gluten free, and said she would have the head sushi chef remake our rolls. The new rolls came out very quickly, but were obviously very hastily thrown together. One was filled with so much cucumber that it was comical - there were some pieces of the roll that had double the cucumber compared to the amount of fish. One of the rolls also came on a bed of seaweed salad, which is not gluten free. We were given two extra pieces of nigiri as well, which we appreciated, but my wife could only safely eat one of the rolls due to the cross contact with the seaweed salad. We had been there far over an hour by that point and just decided not to worry about it a second time, and I ate the roll she couldn’t eat.
At the end of the meal, we expected to maybe have something taken off the bill for the inconvenience, but ended up paying in full. It didn’t feel worth arguing over the price of the bill after everything. I also want to note that we noted on the reservation that it was our anniversary, and it was not acknowledged at all - no one asked if we were there for a special occasion or anything and did not mention the anniversary part of the reservation. We did not leave feeling good about our visit or future visits to the restaurant during busy times.
Since the 2015, Mylo's is my go-to "office" whenever I'm in Little Rock and it was one of the highlights of my trip. The welcoming staff, great coffee, a fast and *reliable* internet connection, and, most-importantly for me - as a gluten intolerant person - the mochi donuts.
Now, fast forward to 2021, 2022, 2023 and Mylo's under Muggs ownership. I regularly visit Mylo's while I'm in town, yearning for a mochi donuts but most importantly a fast, stable, and reliable internet connection to do basic work. And sadly, I'm forced to leave within minutes every time. Before, where I could easy eat two, maybe even a 3rd mochi donuts, now I struggle to finish half of one due to being overly saturated with richness (oil, butter, grease). Not to mention, in my personal preference, the quality of the coffee is subpar to Mylo's OG house-roasted beans.
However, it is the unreliable, snail-paced internet speed that makes me pack up and leave. This remains consistent if there are 4 people on laptops or 15. My bandwidth demands are low-to-average. I cannot load a Google Document to write or edit.
Lastly, and this is something I've noticed at each Muggs location, the staff constancy seems overwhelm, disorganized and sometimes just bothered simple asks, like today, a knife to spread cream cheese on my bagel.
I disclaim my review with: I tried Muggs coffee a few times before its take over of Mylo's and left underwhelmed each time. I loath the major mainstream national coffee chain with a passion and go out of my way to support local businesses, but am left with no choice during my visits to Little Rock.
This is an amazing place. True German atmosphere with exceptional service and great food. It also has one of the best beer, whiskey and Scotch selections that I've seen in a long time. Staff was very accommodating to my wife's gluten allergy.
Nope! One last chance for US Pizza Rodney Parham location, notorious for iffy to lackluster to bad service, and at times, bad food, this time we tried delivery through DoorDash … FAIL. No More!
Order not right - specialty pizza Not entered correctly in their system so after waiting more than an hour, the gluten-free pizza was Not what was ordered & paid for on the front end. Too hungry to re-order and wait another hour. Will take receipts to location & request refund.
Long history of Fails with this location. Inadequate training & management has long been a factor. Whoever took the order from online just did Not pay attention. What we ordered was obvious on our confirmation, Wrong on their paperwork attached to the order.
I had dinner here on Monday night.
The pork belly we had to start with was impressive and very tasty. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and the sides were delicious and generously portioned. I particularly enjoyed the mushrooms.
There's plenty of gluten free options on the menu and it pays off to ask your server if you're unsure about anything, because I was able to eat the potatoes which weren't labeled GF on the menu.
Our server, Lee, was excellent. He knows the menu well and makes great recommendations. He also shakes a mean martini. He even took our picture at the end of the night and printed it for us to take home. Thanks, Lee!
Comfortable, clean, high quality coffee and great pastries. Could use a few gluten free options, maybe on other days or maybe I should have asked, but I don’t down rate a top notch coffee place for that.
The title of best sushi place in town tends to move around. Just when I think I've found it, I have several experiences that make me change my mind. But , with that in mind, I think this is the best sushi place in town currently. It was a good atmosphere, and the server was exceptionally good (though he was also tending bar, so his focus was a little split and a little slow to fill drinks, so I took a star for that), and the sushi was excellent. Some places you go, if you don't have the soy and wasabi, you don't really want the sushi. Or maybe the contents are too loose and fall apart, or the fish is almost soggy. None of these are the case here. I always try without the soy sauce first, and each of the four roles totally stood on their own with proper flavor and held together with and had excellent mouth feel.
A note for those that do use soy: they don't have soy sauce here. They have Tamari. If you look it up, you'll be tempted to think that it's just gluten free soy sauce, and you'd be a little right, but mostly wrong. It has a much stronger and richer flavor, with less of that soy salt. But be warned: a little dab will do you. If you're going to use it, just dap the corner of your roll in it. It's delicious, but it's potent.
I will also not that it's a bit pricey as well. We got two basic roles (10ish) and two mid range specialty rolls (20ish), and we came to a little over sixty dollars before tip. But that's not outside the range of what I expect for sushi today. Just know that going in.
All told, it was a fun place with excellent food, and I recommend it.
The atmosphere of Dizzy's is great. The service was fantastic. The manager listed everything that could be made gluten free for my friend. Also, the blueberry margarita is delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it. My daughter ate and entire 8oz filet and it was cooked perfectly medium. I would definitely eat here again if I'm ever in downtown Little Rock.
This was our 5th time going to The Pizzeria. The pizzas are always great! With each time we have gone, neither my wife nor I have had the same pizza twice, and each pizza has been really good. They offer all of their pizza's on a classic hand stretched dough or with a gluten-free & egg free crust option. With either crust selection, the pizza comes out as what I would refer to as a personal size pizza. However, I'm kind of a big eater. I have seen tables of 2 share a pizza, which works if you're both lite eaters and agree on the toppings. Oh, and the desserts! In addition to the pizza, the owner also personally makes and has several fresh baked & no-bake pie's available. The place could really be called The Pie Palace! Occasionally, the kitchen gets backed up with pizza orders, which is somewhat understandable, with many customers ordering their individual pizza. All though, this is just fine when you have the time. Sit back, relax, enjoy good conversation, and have the large selection of drink options while sitting either in the dining room, at the bar, or out on patio.
It has a great diner atmosphere with a friendly wait staff. My 7 yr old loves it there and they also have a large kids menu. They have typical good diner food but also have some healthier options on the menu. They even offer gluten free buns. The turkey burger is really tasty too for those that like that.
New bartender, Jac'ee......love her! Just another great reason staff is the Best!
Such a great place to relax and have fun!
The gluten free bread is too die for!!
Remains a favorite!!
Staff is the Best!! Love Chris,, Olivia and Jessica!!
Such a great place to have a great meal and relax. Love the menu. wine list and atmosphere
BEST place is West Little Rock!!!
Great place and service! Amber is great
My favorite spot in West Little Rock!!
I love the atmosphere, the food, the wine selection and Chad and Kelly are great! Great place to go and relax and have fun. The staff is amazing and they do a great job of making me feel safe in a relaxing environment
Great wine selection!!!
Great restaurant!! Amber and Chris are great and the wine list superb! Make me feel safe in a great environment
This place is a hidden gem! It's in an up and coming area of LR so off the beaten path but HOLY SMACK their food is fantastic. Let's start with the holy grail of cornbread...fluffy interior, very crispy crust, serano peppers and rosemary (who knew?!) topped with a heaping scoop of butter with flaky salt. Every. Single. Bite was perfection. We also had the crispy potatoes... absolute🔥🔥and the market breakfast with fresh sourdough also 🔥 . The wait staff was kind and quick and the whole atmosphere was really pleasant. Several gluten free options too! Their dessert bar looked phenomenal but unfortunately no gluten free options but no worries, I was stuffed anyway. We can't wait to come back and try more!
The food was excellent. My 7yr old loved the chicken pot pie and mashed potatoes and gravy. I am gluten free and tried the honey dijon chicken breast with sauteed mushrooms which was served over a bed of rice. I also ordered green beans as my side item. The chicken was tender and so flavorful with or without the sauce but the sauce enhanced it even more. The atmosphere was wonderful. The service was just okay. We had our food delivered but then we were never checked on again until we waited for 20 minutes to leave. She finally asked if we needed boxes in which she brought them to us. I had ordered the spinach dip but it was never brought and it wasn't on my ticket so I didn't say anything. She seemed preoccupied. Other than the service, everything was excellent.
We ate here for dinner and breakfast because we stayedat the hotel. They were unfortunately out of gluten free toast for breakfast. The dinner was amazing.
As someone with multiple food intolerances, it is often difficult for me to find any food I can eat, let alone food I like enough to eat two nights in a row, but Tabatha hooked me up with a bean burger on gluten free bread and sweet potato fries. The service during the meal was attentive but not invasive. It is clear that the staff take delight in doing their jobs well.
We are so pleased with the new Root location! The food is wonderful, as always, and the space is beautiful. Always a fan.
They have lots of tasty options for my gluten free friends, as well!
