Everything we have eaten is very good. My daughter has celiac disease and there was a wide variety of options for her, which was appreciated, including homemade desserts.
First of all, indicate that it is constructive criticism and that I believe certain aspects can be improved.
The menu is wide and varied, but for gluten intolerant people, I think they lack attention and care for those intolerant.
Supposedly, there is a gluten-free dough pizza, I didn't see it and no one advised me, even though I remembered that I was intolerant before ordering. So, I had to order what I knew was gluten-free: Zamburiñas, to which they put toast on the same plate, I didn't understand the combination, but putting bread that contains gluten, with something that doesn't, is adding unnecessary fuss. , that the diner becomes intoxicated. I understand that it is unintentional, but for those who are intolerant, we can get sick and with a little care we can enjoy a delicious meal like any other customer.
Positive: What I tried is good and the menu is extensive. If they are a little more attentive, they may repeat it.
Cozy restaurant, with delicious, quality food, with several menu options, and they also have a menu adapted to celiacs, so it's wonderful. The service was 10, since it was one of the waiters who informed me that they had gluten-free and lactose-free foods. Even the dessert menu! We ordered a cheesecake and a banana cake (banoffee) and they were delicious. We ate very well so I recommend it 100%. Mandatory stop if you are in Navajas.
Nice place, in the most beautiful place in Castellón area.
Mediterranean local food (with delicious gluten-free options in case you need it), very good quality and really good service. Just a little bigger portions would be nice to have.
We went here on the recommendation of a group of celiac patients, as we were traveling with a child with celiac disease. The waiter told us about the options available for the child. The food was very good at reasonable prices. The views of the sea were incredible. The staff was very attentive and friendly. If we go back, we'll definitely go back.
We have been two couples with two girls, we have had a fantastic meal, a lot of variety to choose from, they have a children's menu, the environment is very pleasant since the porticoed square is fantastic, gluten-free options, the truth is that you couldn't ask for more, good atmosphere, good service, good food and super friendly staff. By the way, the torrija for dessert is brutal!!!!!!
Excellent cuisine that, without pretensions of Michelin stars, is exquisite. Valencian paella, mixed paella, or fish paella. The paella, cooked over an orange wood fire, must be ordered as it is served promptly at the agreed time; but even the menu is the same. Complete dishes from the menu can be easily shared by two people. Excellent grilled fish.
The zarzuela is excellent and is recommended.
The mussels with leek sauce are another very interesting option on the menu, ideal for sharing.
Excellent service, with special mention for the attention to allergens (gluten and lactose). The zarzuela (gluten-free) is available upon request. Excellent value for money.
Reservations are required, especially during the high season in summer.
Quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle of the beach.
Perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, tapas and a wide variety of beers, cocktails and ice creams.
High and low tables and chill out area.
Perfect Service.
The girl who served us was very nice and kind, and her partner was also attentive and willing to meet our needs.
Possibility of a wide variety of GLUTEN-FREE burgers, GLUTEN-FREE potatoes, etc.
Perfect presentation of the dishes, excellent quality of the food, and pleasant, light and very good service.
We will definitely return.
The food is delicious, they have few vegetable options but it's not bad to get by. The bravas are exquisite! Something super important is that they have gluten-free bread. Good price, ideal for going in a group.
On weekends and designated days there is a huge queue, and they don't make reservations, you eat the queue no matter what. At night it gets very cold, and there is no interior area as such, everything is open.
Everything is very good, the site is amazing. We were 3 celiacs and they gave us all the facilities in the world, we even ate gluten-free parmesan croquettes that were delicious. The rice dishes are very good.
The only problem is that there were a lot of flies... but overall everything was fine.
It is a very nice place to eat, facing the sea and very beautiful. The service of 10. We will return
We had a very good dinner, the food was great and the service was better. Almost the entire menu is adapted for celiacs and on top of that everything is good. We will repeat for sure.
Hello
I was there two days ago, I asked how we could eat with two celiacs, they told us that any dish is suitable and that they didn't know if they had gluten-free bread left.
My surprise when I sat down is that the waiter, very friendly by the way, who served us already told us that they never have gluten-free bread. When we started to order the dishes he also told us that we couldn't get any that had flour in them.
In short, the person who sat us down lied to us at all times and I think that is a fraud. If you offer something you have to fulfill it and not deceive.
The rice, cannelloni and cuttlefish were very good but the sole was not in good condition.
A DISASTER! Review from 06/28/2025
The waiter should do something else and not serve the public.
From the moment we arrived, his face was so shocking... Impressive!
When we asked for something to eat (we arrived at 6:50 PM), he said the kitchen opened at 7:00 PM. We said we'd wait, it was no problem (10 minutes, who doesn't wait to eat?), his face changed...
When we asked if there was a gluten-free option, another LONG face! Unacceptable.
When he brought us our beers, they were lukewarm. Disgusting.
After 5 minutes, he came back saying the cook would arrive at 8:00 PM!!!!! and that the kitchen wouldn't open until then. IMPRESSIVE. EVERYTHING! Such a lack of attention and service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. At 7:07 PM, we paid for the warm beer he brought us and left, but without first letting the waiter know about his terrible service. To our surprise, he told us he hadn't been able to reach the cook, so he couldn't offer us anything. A complete joke! First, he contacted us, then said no. THIS PLACE IS DISGRACEFUL.
DON'T GO! The service is terrible.
More than good experience!!! We ordered the menu of the day and it is super complete and a lot of quantity. The rice with senyoret is exquisite. They also have gluten-free bread that is delicious and they adapted the starters for us.
The service is super good and the terrace is incredible. To repeat!!!
Located within a hotel, the restaurant's atmosphere is calm and cozy, perfect for a romantic dinner or a family meal. The staff is friendly and service is prompt, ensuring a seamless experience.
The food at Monpiedra is of good quality, with hearty dishes. Mediterranean cuisine is the house specialty, with a wide variety of options including grilled fish, grilled pork tenderloin, and succulent paellas. The restaurant also offers vegetarian and gluten-free options.
We stopped by for lunch by chance, and a very helpful lady stopped us at the door. The menu was €16.90 on a Saturday. The service was very varied and good value. A very attentive and friendly service. A celiac patient was there, and they were always vigilant about cross-contamination. A special mention to Idiana. Highly recommended!
The cook (who I believe is the owner) controls the issue of gluten and cross contamination, she came out to inform me at the table and knew perfectly how to do things, in addition to having a very good disposition!! The only thing you have to keep in mind is that it is better to notify in advance so that it can be prepared. This is a pleasure, a place to visit if you live around here and are celiac. Thank you so much!
Food was good. Lots of gluten free options and could change for gluten free bread if necessary.
Slightly lower score as the squid was slightly over cooked.
Atmosphere was excellent. Always lots of people there.
We stayed at the hotel this weekend and went down for dinner one night. We were able to sit on the wicker sofas facing the sea and enjoy some patatas bravas, which they'd adapted to be gluten-free. We also had a couple of gin and tonics. The service was excellent and fast; everyone was lovely. We'll definitely be back, even if we're not staying there.
Highly recommended, very friendly staff, very friendly manager, very delicious food with gluten-free options and spectacular gin and tonics. Very affordable prices.
Very friendly staff, exquisite rice, I have tried them all and I wouldn't know which one to choose, I have celiac disease and no problem, totally recommended
We ordered lobster paella which was very delicious, and the gluten-free pistachio cake was spectacular. Also a burrata salad, which they did the favor of putting the sauce separately so the little one could eat it.
A nice detail that the boss accompanied our daughter for ice cream at the ice cream shop next door, because she didn't fancy the desserts on the menu.
The waiters were also very friendly.
We ate on the terrace, and although it was hot, it was bearable (August 17), although I would prefer to do it inside next time. Maybe more fans outside would help get through the hot days better.
Furthermore, I found it to be a very cozy place. Even in the bathroom you have hygiene items for women and babies, something very unusual, and which is appreciated.
Excellent service and very delicious food. Alex has been very attentive and pleasant, he has left us a guide of routes to do in La Tinença. She adapted without problems to being vegan and gluten intolerant. We had a luxury dinner.
