I ordered the poutine with gluten-free gravy. I mentioned I have celiac and confirmed with the server that the dish was gluten-free. It was only 20 minutes later when all my friends got their food that she told me the fries are prepared in the same fryer as everything else and asked again if that was okay. I said no, and tried to order a different dish marked "gluten-free". It turns out that every single item labelled "gluten-free" on their menu is deep-fried, so NONE of their labelled items are actually gluten-free. Had I known while ordering, my friends and I would have gone elsewhere. This is the first time I've seen a restaurant claim on its menu that its dishes are safe from gluten and not even have a single option that is actually safe. Either the kitchen protocols need to change, or the menu does. This is a serious oversight.

Pasta made fresh at the restaurant and the quality was outstanding in my opinion. I absolutely loved what I got: gnocchi with mozzarella and tomatoes in a pesto sauce. Cute space and really easy to hear each other talk even though there was music. The pizza looked good but none of us tried it, I like that there were cauliflower crust options and other gluten free options too if you need that. Also lots of veg options. We were served toasted bread and olives with oil and balsamic to start and they were perfect. I definitely recommend this place and especially before all those new condo developments bring in tons more people. We had two cars and were able to park right in front on a Saturday night.

Small update from April 12, 22: I removed stars because I ordered take out and there were a lot of things missing. I had specified that I wanted butter and there was none.
I love going to lunch there. With a choice of gluten-free meals that look great. The only problem is that it's often difficult to go and eat on the weekend because there are a lot of customers, but that's proof that it's good.

At Heliocoptere the wine was diverse and perfectly paired. Servers were friendly, funny, and polished. I ordered the beet salad, ribs and fries all as appetizers. The beet salad was alright, ribs were absolutely delicious, fries were good. They have a separate air frier for those who are celiac like me.

Really bad …. I asked for gluten free hamburger with a gluten free poutine… asked 2 times when ordering and third time when she brought me my food…… Yes it’s gluten free after 2 bites and was talking my 3 rd bite she came to tell me that it wasn’t gluten free.
