We make a couple of trips from Toronto to Niagara a year and like so many other reviewers, we have seen the Lakehouse Restaurant but never stopped in. This time we made a conscious decision to stop on our way home for lunch and are we ever glad we did!! Obviously the location and views are stellar. However what made this experience so special was the food and the service. Our server, Ashley, could not have been nicer or more attentive even with it being so busy. In fact, all the staff we interacted with were so nice and helpful. The food was excellent!! My husband had the lamb burger and I had the goat & beet salad with the gluten free bread plate. The Lakehouse offers little desserts which were perfect to top off the lunch....we highly recommend the skors or the dark chocolate, raspberry, orange desserts. Reservations are recommended although we were accommodated without one. The atmosphere was so relaxed and enjoyable and we cannot wait to go back.

Excellent celiac safe restaurant! I was shocked at having so many delectable options that could be made gluten free. Our server Jason stated that the fryer never has gluten items go in it and my Benedict-Lobster was divine. Looking forward to returning soon.

There was no waitresses.. strange. and I have celiac disease and ate here and now am in extreme pain due to eating my sandwich. I will never come back here again

I have celiac disease and this is the restaurant I felt the safest ever eating at. They made sure my celiac was written down when ordering and the food was sooo delicious. Best gluten free brownie I’ve ever had. They have dedicated fryers. They have a wheelchair accessible ramp. Very helpful staff. Great job guys! I’ll be back in the future!
