The pub is providing a variety of options on the menu, including vegan and gluten-free. I would like to note a great customer service! We mentioned to the server, Jennifer, that one of us found his dish to be overly salty to his taste preferences, and she fixed the issue quickly and politely. Thank you, we had a great time!
Hubby and I like to stop here for a good breakfast when we come to Lindsay to do some shopping, they have a full breakfast,lunch and dinner menu. Many items can be made gluten free at your request. We've also had lunch items and they have daily specials plus a full array of fresh pies. I haven't tried the pies but based on the yummy meals we've had I'm sure they'd be tasty too. The restaurant is located at the back of the mall, you can enter through the mall or through the side door. Check it out next time your in Lindsay!
Ziraldo's is a hidden gem. I was there a couple years back with family visiting, we sat on the patio. The three of us felt like we were in a different place in the world (Tuscany). The food was delicious, I have Celiac Disease and they have gluten free choices available, the pasta was mouth watering. I have very fond memories of my 1st experience at Ziraldo's and won't be my last. Top Notch all around!
A little taste of fresh original Mexican in the heart of the Kawarthas. My son is gluten free and we were able to get him gluten free soft tacos he really enjoyed. The only negative was the fact they charge extra for sour cream and guacamole. I get it for the guacamole but charging extra for sour cream?
This is one of those hidden gems. The owners know how to make you feel like you are an old friend. Our brunch was delivered quickly to the table, was piping hot and delicious. Bonus points for having gluten free bread and home fries. We will be back, hopefully with our Swedish girls!
This restaurant deserves a 10/10! The food is always homemade and delicious with many options to choose from. There are also vegetarian and gluten free options which is so nice when looking for quality food that can be catered to your desires. What really sets this brunch spot apart from many is the quality ingredients that are rare to find in most chain restaurants. The restaurant itself is always clean and cozy and staff are so personable and friendly. This has been my favourite spot to sit in for a meal or get take out for many years and I can’t wait to visit at their new location on Kent street. Their drink options are also 10/10 and I’m always surprised by the extra touches that take a meal or drink that extra mile. Love love love this establishment!!
