Amazing gluten free options! And not just a bun substitute or fries - (although the fries were pretty tasty- bonus that they have a dedicated gluten free fryer!) I tried the gluten free fish and chips as well as the fried calamari and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the batter was. The tartar sauce was delicious- not sweet, very tangy which I love! And the calamari was cooked perfectly- delicate texture and not a single piece was rubbery! The fish was crispy on the outside and wonderfully flaky on the inside. Will definitely be back to try their gluten free fried chicken sandwich next!!!
I haven’t had a good gluten free bagel in YEARS. This place delivers that and other delicious sweet treats. A must stop if you have allergies. I would post a photo but I ate everything so fast. 🥰
I gave 4 stars because although they have a lovely selection of Gluten Free pastries (muffins, cinnamon rolls, and cookies), the soy latte I ordered came out burnt and sour! The muffin I got was good though and nice location!
Honestly, I was pretty disappointed, we picked Hatch because we saw that they had an allergy aware menu as our family has some gluten and dairy allergies.
The automatic 20% gratuity means that everyone checked out and couldn't care about doing their job, or trying their best.
We waited a long time for any service, even though we were some of the only people in the restaurant, we eventually ordered everything all at once, once the server introduced herself.
Thankfully, our server understood the allergies, and we didn't have any allergy issues (which is the reason for the second star)
Everything else was terrible, and not worth the effort or the price.
The food was lackluster, the rice was overcooked and under seasoned, the meat was under seasoned, chewy, and super greasy. The service was terrible and I would have 100% considered not tipping at all I was so disappointed, and then to find out that I automatically tipped 20% was a pretty frustrating.
Won't be returning.
All day and every day yes. I told myself I was going to be adventurous and not order their signature paella, but I ordered the paella 😀 The flavors and seafood was cooked to perfection, and I had enough to bring some home as well. I only wish that I had that char rice/ socarrat though there was like a little of it around the top of the paella pan. The wait staff was so attentive and recommended a delicious red (since I asked for red and enjoying their sangria) to go with the paella, so when she said it also tasted good with the gluten free cake I had to say yes. She spoke to me of her dreams of getting her sommelier certification- which I think she's already there!!
This was a really sweet find. Gluten free turkey sandwich was over the top. The vegan burger, just yum. The GF pumpkin and blueberry muffins, just super good.
Overall pretty tasty food. I found the biscuit to be good, especially for a gluten free biscuit. The gravy was also good. And for ~$10 it was a decent breakfast option.
Dining partner had the regular biscuit and gravy and preferred the gluten free mushroom gravy.
Seating is outside and kind of difficult to find. You have to hover awkwardly. You have to show your id to get the food.
If you need a quick snack while in the area I’d check it out, if you are looking to get breakfast and spend some time then I’d skip it.
I was in Seattle for a conference and came to Tidal twice because it was so good.
The oysters, fish and chips, cocktails, and even desserts were phenomenal. Clearly, because I had to come back for their weekend breakfast (not pictured because I ate it so quickly).
A special thank you to Veasita, George, and Manty (I apologize if I misspelled names). They were so helpful, personable, and charming. Next time I am in Seattle I will be back for happy hour! I only wish I didn’t leave before the shuck and sip class, I would have been the first to sign up.
Note: AMAZING gluten free options here!
I’ve been here before for the famous Coconut Cream Pie, but it was sold out. I love pie and consider myself an aficionado. I came back and finally got a slice. It was good, but not $15-good. Okay pie for a lot of money!
The donuts are all gluten-free mochi donuts. Gummy and dense texture with weird flavors. I do not recommend them. Go across the street to Lola, sit down, and order Tom’s real donuts!
The place was clean and the employees were helpful and friendly.
This place is amazing! Great service and yummy vegan food with gluten free options. The vegan salmon was like nothing I’ve ever had. You order drinks at the bar and food from the QR code on your table.
Amazing coffee with beautiful pastries, including a few gluten free options!! This was our favorite first stop in the morning during our trip in Seattle.
I visited this shop a few times on our recent trip to Seattle. Friendly service with good pastries and coffee! They also provide several gluten free options which were wonderful.
Highly recommend for the quality of the food and ambience of restaurant. Great vegan and gluten free options. I loved trying the Aloo tiki appetizer (comes with 2 medium-sized potato patties with mint chutney and tamarind sauce) and Okra Masala (comes with basmati rice). I got it mild and it really was not spicy at all! :)
Why have gluten free options when you can't make that request on the self serve kiosk?? And the checkout is blocked by a table. Obviously don't want our business.
The employees said that none of the food has gluten in it except the pastries that are on the counter in a bin. It was delicious and we were surprised there wasn’t a long line; we will definitely go back!
Tasty burgers and fries with a lot of other options if you don't feel like a burger. We had the Hawaiian burger on gluten free bun and the salmon burger. Both were tasty and the prices were more than fair. I like that the menu lists all of the ingredients (onions, mustard, etc) for each item. Would recommend for sure.
Nice atmosphere and talented waiter. Food was disappointing. The Milanese was tough, the side dish of kale had an identity crisis not knowing if it was cooked or raw, the apples on the kale were very firm, again some uncertainty whether they were intended to be cooked or raw. The dish ate very dry. The orecchiette had a decent sauce but the pasta was overcooked. The arugula salad was a bag of greens with salad dressing. On the positive side, the salad was not overdressed and the dressing was distributed evenly over the salad. We did not get the soft egg offered with the salad, perhaps that would have improved it. The restaurant was crowded so seems popular with other diners. They offered gluten free options which was helpful to some in our party.
Very clean! Our server is very kind and helped me navigate the food due to my gluten allergy! I forgot he name but she's super cool. My food is delicious breakfast sandwich with GF bread. My husband had breakfast burrito!
Great place to eat after going out at Capitol Hill! I liked their waffles and hot chocolate. I have a gluten allergy so the fact that they had a waffle option had me stoked! I couldn't even tell it was gluten friendly
This cute little cafe is so close to Pike Place Market and food is excellent. Our service was phenomenal, staff is very attentive.
I ordered crab Benedict and it was amazing!! Husband ordered biscuits and gravy and enjoyed his food as well. My daughters ordered the Belgian waffle and were quite pleased. Enjoyed a mimosa, special of the day. I also enjoyed the Nutella mocha and it was absolutely delightful, not overly sweet at all but that’s how I enjoy it best. Wait time was minimal. Definitely recommend. I didn’t notice anything dedicated gluten free, but there were items to order that typically don’t have gluten in them naturally.
This is my 4th time here, they just rotated their menu. All the food we had was delicious. I especially loved the mussels! I normally don’t eat mussels but their mussels are fresh and flavorful. Our group had people that are vegan, gluten free, and dairy free, they were able to accommodate all of us.
Lovely restaurant. We waited a while for our server, but eventually got some drinks from the hostess. They DO NOT have gluten free bread contrary to another review. The mimosa was good. I loved the breakfast potatoes, extra crispy.
Great vegan and gluten-free options, lively and authentic Seattle atmosphere, with excellent customer service.
Will definitely be coming back; especially with family or friends requiring different dietary options but still wanting delicious food.
I had gluten free fish & chips and a cider, it was great.
Simple and unpretentious, good music and chill vibe. they have a good me u im excited to come back and try different things. I dont think its grounbreaking but it's a tasty comfy spot in Cap Hill.
Fresh flavors ! I had gluten free chicken noodle ramen . Fried tofu app soooo tasty housemade chili sauce.
The pickled vegetable medley offered as garnish made in restaurant I could eat bowl full . Loved everything ❤️
Love this little spot near work. They have gluten free options (including oatmeal and scrambles) as well as awesome coffee. My coworkers and I enjoy walking over here to grab some coffee, fresh air, and a quick bite during the work day. Great food and drinks!
Loooooved my little box of (gluten-free!) Turkish Delights, especially the Turkish coffee flavored ones. Great Pike Place location, will definitely visit again!
The food and service was fine. However, the staff arguing and yelling behind the counter was a big turn off. The music was also too loud.
I had the chicken skewers and curry. None of the happy hour menu items were gluten free, otherwise they had many gluten free options on the menu. The amount of wine they gave for the happy hour drinks wasn't a lot.
The prices were fine and I would only order takeout here in the future.
I had lunch with friends today for the first time at Kokos in Capitol Hill We ordered the guacamole and chips, ahi sashimi, and chopped salads, along with a couple of Cadillac margaritas—everything was excellent. The sashimi was fresh with just the right amount of jalapeño and pickled onion. A friend of mine is gluten free and pescatarian and we struggle to find places to eat out but this menu had a lot of options for her.
The ambiance was spot-on for the restaurant’s vibe, with lots of natural light, cool lamps, and a cool winged dog statue in the bar that added to the character. The music was a bit loud but not overwhelming. The only minor drawback was the service, which was a bit slow, as the hostess was also juggling table service and making non-cocktail drinks. That said, it wasn’t unbearable, and the quality of the food and drinks more than made up for it.
Overall, great food, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere—I’ll definitely be back!
Loved this place! The food was so good! My husband is gluten free, and we were able to easily find options for him as well. We came in for breakfast, and really enjoyed our time in this little restaurant. Friendly staff, great food, fun music. It was a great way to spend our morning.
Gluten Allergy People - their food marked GF on the menu is made in a shared fryer! If you have celiacs, this isn’t the place for you.
EDIT: In response to the message from SPIN - perhaps I was looking at a limited menu, but I talked it over with one of your managers and attempted to request multiple menu items, only for him to ask the kitchen and they said each one was prepared in a space/manner prone to cross-contamination. Celiac folks, YMMV, but I was disappointed to have that experience after seeing things marked “GF” on menu photos online. For an intolerance/minor reaction, you would doubtless be fine.
From the plush velvet seats to the sweet basil in the curry, this place was thoroughly enjoyable. They give a lot of tofu in the red curry dish and the flavor was great. Staff were courteous and helpful. Great find. Also, the rice bowls help to make a lot of the menu gluten free. They also carry Him kombucha 💯
Look im sure if I wasn't allergic to gluten this place would be lovely unfortunately I have celiac and there false advertising of saying they have gluten free food when there is high cross contamination there fried "gluten free food" is in a shared fryer there gluten free salads which i ordered still made me sick and I believe it's because there is no care for allergies within this restaurant I hope they can change there menu to gluten friendly since that is more accurate description because currently there false advertisements is frustrating if not infuriating.
I sat down and ordered gluten free beef/rice dish. I checked the Yelp reviews and thought I made a mistake sitting down. But food was great and the servers were very nice!
