The nicest owners and a beautiful coffee shop with delicious coffee and pastries (delicious gluten free lemon poppyseed scone) I also left my purse there on accident and they went above and beyond to get it back to me!
My time at burger burger with my family an amazing experience. Our server Hannah was super nice and was very helpful with the menu and very kind. she made the experience very pleasant. I have a gluten intolerance and they had amazing gluten free options for people like me. I highly recommend burger burger.
I have celiac and I enjoyed this place. Limited gluten free options, but thats the norm most places. I had a gluten free blueberry muffin. The other option available today was a breakfast bowl.
A top restaurant in Fredericksburg. Well worth the visit. The patio was lovely with an incredible view of the vineyard. The service was attentive, helpful and friendly.
Signature Meatballs (veal, pork, beef): So good, even our "I don't like meatballs" guest very much enjoyed them.
Salads were fresh and tasty.
Tenderloin Bolognese: Generous portion, right balance of sauce and pasta, savory and well seasoned. Loved it.
Pizzas: Great pizzas. The biggest surprise. One with a gluten free crust so good, we all enjoyed it.
Wine flights were great, with hefty pours.
Every dish was an adventure In delicious. I had the beef soup first as an appetizer, veggies were perfectly cooked not mushy, not crisp, tender. The broth was a full flavored event with pieces of beef small, tender meat with perfectly rendered tidbits of fat. My entree was a chicken with capers in greens with fresh fruit and vinaigrette. Crisp greens tender chicken. For dessert I picked the gluten free rice pudding and was not disappointed. My hubby’s chocolate dessert was excellent as well. This is a place for people who like good food. Service was great.
Mom and pop shop with everything from ice cream, bakery, sandwiches, and even baked potatoes! There is even seating upstairs inside. It's a really cool place. I love that they have gluten free items too.
Great brunch options, even for those that need gluten free. It did seem that the service ran pretty slow. It took us an hour and half from the moment we set down until we received our food. Our waitress got a little distracted and was helping the kitchen with silverware. But, overall food was delicious.
Had dinner here on Monday evening. The line up the stairs was worth it! Delicious, friendly and prompt! We had the Italian spinach soup (fantastic), the stuffed salmon (grain-free wonderfulness), the bratwurst and sauerkraut (very, very good), and for others who are keto, grain-free, gluten-free or Celiacs try the spinach artichoke dip with roasted veggies instead of chips. Superb!
Friendly service, warm and cozy atmosphere, and great food. Lovely dinner our first night in town, and a great option on Mondays when many other places are closed.
Alright y’all, this is the best food of Fredericksburg; The kolaches specifically. Go on over and get yourself a sausage jalepeño and cheese kolache. I don’t care if you’re vegetarian, vegan, dairy free or gluten intolerant. If you want to eat the best item this town has to offer, go on over and order a LARGE SAUSAGE JALEPEÑO CHEESE KOLACHE. 10/10. Maybe even 11/10. Trust me. I’m on the Internet.
Cinnamon sugar donut is good. Coffee is okay.
Heard great things about Cafe Dimona from friends and wanted to try it out for myself. Very cute and cozy restaurant. Delicious homemade food. The handmade pita was so soft and good (they should consider selling them separately to take home- maybe they do...?). We ordered falafel and charred cauliflower and cabbage steaks. For my son, who's allergic to gluten, the owner was so nice and substituted the pita, which comes with the kids meal, with cucumbers and red bell pepper and instead of the Schnitzel he made him Lamb Kebab patty. We also had babka for dessert.
I wish they were serving shakshuka all day, but unfortunately it's only served during breakfast time, which we missed, so I was kind of disappointed. If you're craving shakshuka, take that into consideration.
Oh, and did I mention everything was delicious?
Very good coffee overall, the use a special Merit coffee bean that is just for them, it can also be purchased there as well. Their brewing process of expresso is excellent and consistent, meaning that I believe they pay attention to PH levels of the water, and you can definitely tell.
Their syrups are made in house, more than likely with real raw cane sugar and not sucrose (which is the white sugar at grocery stores). You can tell the difference between the two, because raw cane sugar is less sweet, and sucrose is super sweet.
Their pastries and foods is all made in house as well, and it is very good. I don't believe that they use Einkorn flour though, I have a gluten intolerance to the bleached flour in grocery stores but not the real Einkorn flour, which is an ancient grain.
