Absolutely the best gf and vegan desserts I’ve ever had. I am celiac and have dairy/egg allergies and it’s near impossible to find a spot that has great desserts. I’m in Nashville for vacation from NJ and wanted to find a spot I could enjoy on vacation. The service was absolutely amazing, and the desserts event better. HIGHLY recommend!
Sooo delicious! I have celiac i went here for dinner with my sister and i got a fried chicken sandwich with their waffle fries and ohhh my god it was delicious! We got two burgers to go for a late night snack. We’re going back in the morning for breakfast. This is probably my favorite spot while visiting Nashville
It feels like this is the kind of place where you have to know what is good and what isn’t—my husband had a burger bowl which was great and we both enjoyed it, but I got a hot chickn sandwich that was weirdly soft; the texture was off putting enough that I couldn’t tell if I didn’t actually like the flavors of it as a whole. We also got some cornbread which was an odd consistency, which we anticipated as it was gluten free, but it was also fairly bland, perhaps needing more salt? Because my husbands bowl was good I do think they probably have a lot of good options and we just chose poorly. The restaurant itself is casual and cute and we enjoyed the resident outdoor cats.
Incredible menu with gluten-free options. The owner has gluten allergies and therefore has an entire kitchen designated for gluten-free diets. I’m telling you, their pizza and all their bread options are incredible. Even the gluten-free stuff is bomb. Don’t forget to try that pasta. We love brunch lunch dinner and snacks. You will not be disappointed.
Put name on waitlist before going it definitely gets busy. We ended up sitting at the bar had Becca as our bartender. It was so nice we came back the next day. We had gluten free egg scramble with fruit. Cinnamon French toast and shrimp and grits . Blackberry smash and cold vanilla brew with almond milk.
DO. NOT. MISS!! I can't say enough great things about Urban Cookhouse. The food is utterly out of this world, and they have incredible options whether you're a meat lover or vegan and gluten-free! Their brisket sliders are so amazing, I got two orders, and their house BBQ sauce is what Nashville is all about! But wait, there's more! The staff are just some of the sweetest, loveliest people you'll find anywhere. They are every bit as much of the winning charm at Urban Cookhouse as the food. Treat yourself!
One of our favorite spots to eat in The Nations! The American Breakfast with a Cuban coffee is my favorite, and their gluten-free biscuits are surprisingly delicious. The service is outstanding. Always friendly and attentive. A great dining experience here every time!
Had the chance to go last Thursday while in town for a wedding and chose to sit at the Chef’s Counter either my girlfriend. Outstanding experience and choice, great service and server was very good about accommodating my girlfriend’s gluten allergy. Even more impressive was the food, some truly just well done dishes. One of the Chef’s, JD, that we met was awesome and helped give recommendations on fan favorites from their new menu. Check out that pork ribeye and s’mores dessert especially, out of this world.
Would travel back to Nashville just to have dinner here again!
It's a donut shop. They sell a few cookies and I'm have Paleo and gluten free items and assorted drinks. But the DONUT is the reason we come back. Flavors are on point. No weird chemical aftertaste. Just fresh donuts with imaginative toppings and flavors.

My first time visiting Hawkers. I have to be Gluten Free, not only was the server Mikel knowledgeable about my options. A friend suggested the Singapore Mei Fun and it was absolutely delicious. We also had some Shrimp Rice rolls and they were also delicious! All tasted very fresh. If you have never been go!!!!
Props to Emmy Squared for coming up with their own gluten free pizza crust. It’s really dense and heavy compared to the toppings. Appreciate the effort though! Enjoyed the colony gluten free pizza, kale and Brussel sprouts are amazing!
Wild Muffin made a vegan cake and cupcakes for our wedding 5 years ago. We had multiple guests thank us for not only having vegan options, but gluten free as well. They said they were usually excluded from enjoying the dessert at weddings. Everything was delicious and exactly what we ordered. I hate to see that they’re closed, but I hope they’re back open soon. Great customer service and food!
First visit to B&Bee was for my husband's bday. It did not disappoint and actually exceeded expectations. Atmosphere is great inside and on the patio. Food is delicious with unique flavor combinations. Really good wine list. Many options for vegans and gluten free clearly labeled and they were happy to make vegetarian items vegan for us. Be sure to make reservations in advance.
I’ve been a few times over the years and it’s always been great! Unique booszie coffee options, healthy options, gluten free options. It’s a fantastic brunch spot. That said, get a reservation. There’s often a wait.
I was visiting the area, and a friend of mine recommended this place. The staff provided great service! I ordered the gluten-free nachos-everything was good, except the plant-based chorizo was a bit salty. To be fair, they acknowledged it and only charged me half, which I really appreciated. Great service overall!

An invite from our friend @thetipjarnash took us to @sundanewasian for one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Nashville. Its name is a nod to the Southeast Asian continental shelf underlying the region inspiring the myriad of flavors highlighted by the array of cuisine from founder @billydec and executive chef @mike_sunda
From Dim Sum to sushi rolls, main courses and “new Asian creations,” there is truly something on the menu for everyone. As always, we’ve posted a guide to our “reel” menu below in case you want to say, “I want what they had” (and we’re pretty sure you will.)
🍹: Grass Tiger & Strawberry Fields
🍣: Signature Crispy Rice {Wagyu & Spicy Tuna}
🥗: Crispy Brussels Sprouts
🍱: Sweet Potato Caterpillar & Island Maki
🐟: Tom Yum Sea Bass
🥮: Bibingka*
Also of note: Kevin our waiter was incredibly kind and knowledgeable - he elevated the entire dining experience and we’d definitely recommend requesting seating in his section. Also a huge thanks to Matt for his hospitality and attention. Thank you Sunda for a top-notch experience from food to service, start to finish.
*Bibingka was an off-menu dessert item that you absolutely should ask for. If you happen to have a gluten sensitivity, bonus points that this cake is made with rice flour! In fact, many items on the menu are friendly to dairy, gluten and other allergies or sensitivities. Also of note, most of their cocktails can be served as mocktails without sacrificing any flavor so you can still drink decadently without imbibing!

We ended up at Urban Grub after finding out the wait at a nearby breakfast spot was 2.5 hours for 2 people- yikes!
Whisper was our server and she was amazing! So personable and sweet. She was also able to help my celiac friend navigate the menu and even offered options for substitutions. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits which was FANTASTIC. I ordered the Oscar Bennie which was OK. The crab comes cold and on the side, which was odd, but the crab was tasty nonetheless. The hollandaise was flavorless, although it was advertised as being “citrus”. I got it with a side of Gouda grits, which were so yummy. Overall, pretty happy with our experience! And kudos to our server, Whisper!
Our food was outstanding and our server Kristy was sweet as pie. Will return on any trip to Nashville! Good Gluten free options. Canadian tourist approved!
Emmy Squared was amazing! We chose this restaurant bc of the gluten free crust option! This was the best pizza, you would never know it was gluten free. Hands down a win!
Delicious gluten free crepes available. I got the one with chorizo and it was HUGE. I couldn’t finish the whole thing but it was wonderful. The latte was also very good—smooth, mellow. It’s a bit noisy inside, but there was nice outdoor seating as well. Would definitely return.
If food tourism is your thing, Vegelicious is your spot. I’m from Atlanta and this was my 2nd go round. Survey says: the food was just as amazing the second time around. Soul Food isn’t easy to execute under normal dietary circumstances, but as a Pescatarian, gluten free, diary free girl, I can assure you that Vegelicious exceeds the standard and will surpass your expectations. In addition, Luqman took great care of us. He was attentive, friendly, and respectful. Because of him and the delicious cuisine, I’ll definitely be back for a 3rd visit. So, whether you’re Vegan or not, from Nashville or not, do yourself a favor and put it on your travel bucket list.
This place had great service and very good atmosphere. We were on the patio a group of 12.
This is higher end and designed for sharing. The portion sizes were bigger than they said (tri tip easily feed 4 of us). You get what you pay for, it was high quality and great tasting food, and priced accordingly.
Also has a great whiskey collection and one of the best gluten free menus.
My favorite breakfast spot for on the go! My first draw to East Park was for their cold brew smoothie. I appreciate having protein with my coffee! I also love their quiche and gluten-free cinnamon doughnut!
I was so stoked to see the menu had gluten-free crepe options! I bought the chai tea latte and a cinnamon roll crepe and both were amazing. Friendly staff and easy atmosphere!
Gluten Free lemon Blueberry Pancakes and the salted Carmel coffee. Typically I don't eat or drink this much sugar - but it was sooo worth every sip and bite. It's not a quiet atmosphere, waited about 35-40 min for a table which is pretty average for Nashville. Definitely will return.
If you’re in Nashville and need a place with fantastic gluten-free options, Two Hands Nashville should be at the top of your list! As someone with gluten sensitivity, finding a spot that offers not just safe but delicious gluten-free dishes can be a challenge—but Two Hands totally delivers.
First of all, the menu is full of mouth-watering choices that cater to various dietary needs, and their gluten-free options are top-notch. I tried the gluten-free Korean fried chicken, and wow, it was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, you wouldn't even guess it was gluten-free! The seasoning was on point, and the texture was just as satisfying as any gluten-filled dish.
Their gluten-free bowls and rice-based dishes are also great choices for anyone looking for a wholesome meal that’s both filling and full of flavor. The ingredients feel fresh, and everything is thoughtfully prepared with plenty of options for customization.
What really sets Two Hands apart is how they ensure cross-contamination isn’t an issue, which is super important for those with celiac disease or severe gluten intolerance. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and takes great care to make sure the dishes are made properly, which gives me a lot of confidence when dining here.
The atmosphere is lively and friendly, perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or even a solo visit. Whether you're gluten-free or just looking for a great meal, Two Hands Nashville is definitely worth checking out. Delicious, fresh, and full of flavor—what more could you ask for?
The food and the service at Ladybird is unmatched! I’ve been coming here for three years and can always count on them to give me a consistent 10/10 experience. Staff is amazing and the food is incredible. Also, I’m always blown away by how great their coffee is. In the past three years I’ve been vegan, and then gluten/dairy free, and they have always had the best options for that as well!
A great place to grab brunch! The server was really helpful and attentive in pointing out the gluten free options and figuring out what was safe for a celiac in my group to eat. The prices are a little high, but not at all exaggerated.
Jessica was the best server! We waited at the bar for a few minutes while our table was getting cleaned. Dinner was amazing, service was amazing, and we really enjoyed our dessert. Our server, Jessica, was sensitive to my husband’s gluten allergy. She let us know all the menu options that were available to him and all the ones that could be available to him with adjustments. We LOVED The Magi live music group!! We will definitely be back!
If you're looking for an incredible breakfast spot in Nashville, Frothy Monkey is an absolute must-visit—especially if you need gluten-free options! As someone with dietary restrictions, finding a place that serves delicious and safe gluten-free meals can be a challenge, but Frothy Monkey totally knocked it out of the park.
I tried their gluten-free breakfast options( we visited several times while in Nash), and they were off the charts. The gluten-free pancakes were light, fluffy, and full of flavor, and the avocado toast on gluten-free bread was spot on. It’s so hard to find a place that makes gluten-free bread that actually tastes good, but Frothy Monkey does it right—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly paired with fresh toppings.
The menu has a great selection of gluten-free options, from hearty breakfast bowls to lighter, protein-packed dishes. Everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. They really pay attention to detail, making sure all their gluten-free options are prepared with care to avoid any cross-contamination—so I felt 100% safe enjoying my meal.
The vibe of Frothy Monkey is super welcoming, with a relaxed, cozy atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to kickstart your day. Plus, the coffee is great—strong, smooth, and the perfect companion to a stellar breakfast.
If you’re in Nashville and craving an amazing gluten-free breakfast, don’t miss Frothy Monkey. Delicious, fresh, and the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again!
We waited in line about 45 minutes. It was our second visit. It was raining so we debated going somewhere else but it was worth the wait and we were covered. The staff handled everyone and everything seamlessly. Our waitress was great. I ordered GF pancakes, eggs over well and crispy bacon. Very good. I wasn’t sure how the pancakes were going to turn out but when you’re picky (well, gluten sensitive), you can’t complain! At least I got to eat a pancake!! I thought they were good. The others said their pancakes were amazing. Great maple syrup. The eggs and bacon were cooked as ordered and delicious. We will return!
It wasn’t too busy when we came in but they were extremely helpful for my mom’s severe gluten allergy. The chef personally came out and they had a separate area for their gluten free options. Our server Tyler was absolutely amazing! Wonderfully generous when fixing miscommunication and brought us celebratory extras that were delicious. I ordered the starter brisket quesadilla as my entrée which I wouldn’t personally recommend as an individual dish as it was a lot. Many family members were delighted with their dishes and we had such amazing service and generosity that it made a huge impression on us. Thank you Tyler!! You’re the best!
This place was kind of a cluster.
The good: My wife got the aztec bowl & that was pretty good. And the baked fries that came with my burger were really good.
The bad: They served up a Cesar salad to our friend without any dressing, and had a hard time finding the dressing when asked for some. The Shitake Teriyaki burger was just a smear of mushroom, cabbage, and sauce on a bun and looked nothing like the picture on the menu.
The ugly: They tried to convince me that a whole wheat bun was gluten free. It took a few minutes, but they eventually checked the packaging from the buns and re-made the burger on a small GF bagle. They didn't actually have any GF buns despite it being on the menu, and it sounded like their cook didn't know what GF meant. This could result in someone with ceilac getting really sick from their food. I expect better from a restaurant like this.
Clean and cute place to stop for delicious food, our server Taylor was fantastic lots of good recommendations. We have the crispy chicken sandwich with the mild sauce, the brussel sprouts which were out of this world, the street corn Pizza which is one of the best specialty pizzas we have ever had. We started with the caulipoppers 10/10 they were so crispy perfectly fried they are gluten-free so that's a nice option for our Gluten Sensitive friends. Would highly recommend
Love this place! We all struggle not to overeat here. All the tacos are delicious. I have a gluten allergy. They are quick to accommodate me and I've never gotten sick.
I order gluten free and vegan cheese pizza, and honestly the best pizza I have EVER had. So it deserves stars, however… they’ve increased the prices about 5 times and I still continue to pay because you can’t find good quality Gf/vegan cheese pizza. But it sucks because 3 out 5 calls they’re either out of vegan cheese or Gf crust. Which is now starting to get on my nerves. I’m at the point where I’d rather make the drive to mellow mushroom for lesser quality pizza.. it is a small mom and pop shop and the people are wonderful so they do need the support.. but they do also need to establish a firm pricing structure and stocking issues.
