everything was super freshly made- you can see the gal making things fresh behind the counter. i am gluten free & was excited to have some GF pancakes. our food was great.
my chai tea was not great, but i love a spicy chai! saw some concerning reviews about anti LGBT, the cafe itself didn’t give off those vibes. the space itself was fine, and cute.
Our server was very attentive and had a great sense of humor. I especially loved all of the gluten free options! All 6 of us, including our 18 month old nephew, really enjoyed everything that we got. We will definitely be back!
I'm celiac. I ordered the cobb salad not realizing that it came with a big piece of Texas toast on the plate. From the instant it hit the table and I said, "Oh no!" that young blonde waitress (I wish I remembered her name) had a fire under her to make it right for me. She went straight to the kitchen to make sure they used all dedicated gluten free surfaces. Absolute legend. After all the trouble (which was completely my fault, BTW) it was honestly the best cobb salad I've ever had.
A little neighborhood gem that I wish I'd tried sooner.
Been looking for a local place better than Starbucks for months, and finally found this place. The women there are always so sweet, the sweets are delicious, they have gluten free muffins, and my drink is made the same every single time. If there’s a line it moves quickly, and leaving the lot is easy no matter which way you’re headed. I come here just about every morning!
I visited after going to the nearby DEQ station and needed some lunch before running other errands. The hostess was in good humor, seated me promptly. The server was also in good humor, answered my questions and intuited that I'm on a restricted diet. He offered me a gluten free menu. After bringing my meal, he was not intrusive, but walked past me several times to be available should I need anything, which I really appreciated. It was a good dining experience.
Consistent, friendly, professional, and good food! This place has such a hometown feel and is a local hotspot. My family likes to come here for a burger and salad. Their food is good! And it always seems fresh. I was expecting bar food but was pleasantly delighted when I got my order. Although I don't really drink anymore, it appears their bar is favorable amongst the locals. They have many tvs to watch the game as well. (They were able to accommodate gluten free!)
Shared a great meal with another family. Food was good and manager was funny. This is our go to restaurant when we dine out. Love the gluten free buns!
The lady at the front counter was kind, patient and empathetic as I asked questions about their cross-contamination prevention and was honest about when certain food items couldn't be made gluten free.
The sandwich I ordered on gluten free bread was delicious and well balanced, and well worth the price. The veggie soup was delicious and the sliced fruit were satiating.
