In a sea of fast food, junk food, non-organic food, parasite-filled food, synthetic chemicals food, and other disgusting things you can only imagine, Dragonfly Cafe is THAT hidden local gem that rises above the the garbage food to provide you with truly healthy food! And they're always improving, always willing to listen to their customers. Excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Vegetarian options. All gluten-free. Delicious desserts and treats. Creative options each month. A fantastic physical layout with plants, tall windows, natural and artificial lightning, and a great overall atmosphere. Competent and friendly service. Monthly events. A space for catering, celebrations, and business events. An amazing location for dates/dating and friendly connections. And a fantastic familial ownership! I highly recommend. (No, I'm not getting paid or incentivized to write this.)

Gluten free options are available, but very little effort is put into it. The kids gluten free “grilled cheese” was a hamburger bun with cheese in it. Very disappointing for a 10 year old. Server also didn’t understand how the gluten free items on the menu were served. The other food was average at best. I appreciate the effort to help people with issues with gluten, but this was a poor effort.

I was so excited to try food from a place that's mostly gluten free, but holy shit this place wasn't even mid. I got lukewarm sweet n creamy something on an arepa with lettuce. And my boyfriend's dish had wicked good steak BUT it was slathered in A1 sauce which should be a crime. Panela has a mandatory 18% gratuity, which I'm fine with. But we saw our waitress twice; once to order and once to get the check. Now I'm out 40 bucks and have a tummy ache :(
