I can’t say enough good things about this bakery! Everything I have tried has been amazing, you’d never know they’re gluten-free!

My girlfriend explained to the waitress that she has severe anaphylactic gluten allergy prior to ordering. Their wrap burger stated it was GF on the menu and the waitress even went to the kitchen to confirm it was indeed. One bite and my girlfriend could feel her throat having a reaction. She then asked if the gravy cup that was provided on her plate was GF. The waitress came back and confirmed it was not. The staff did take away her food and replaced it with a GF burger on a bun. ( add $2) and of course charged us for her meal. My girlfriend got home and threw up half the night after mind you literally one bite. Prior to ordering our waitress said that since they were a newer restaurant, they were changing their menu constantly. Don’t eat here if you have allergy. They don’t know what they are doing in this regard even though they claim multiple items as being GF on the menu. They make you sick and don’t have the decency to cover the meal that they said was safe!
We love Great Harvest! It is so so so good!! The staff are friendly and happy! We’ve been there twice and it’s such a great experience from moment you walk in, to getting to try a free sample when waiting to order, to sitting down and getting your meal! The sandwiches are fresh and made to order! The bacon apple hot jelly grilled cheese was phenomenal! They grind actual wheat berries to make the bread and they offer regular and gluten free options! We were only going to get dinner but came home with a loaf of their Apple Pie Swirl bread, because my son declared the sample of it was the best bread he’s ever had! The cinnamon chip bread we bought previous visit was amazing as well!
Daily baked items: bread including sourdough bread, cupcakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls and much more. They do have Vegan items and Gluten Free items. Read the tags. Coffee and tea choices. Coffee is delicious. They do offer sandwiches and soups. Meal offers like soup and sandwich with a brownie. On the chalkboard wall. Very clever. Cozy sitting area along with counter and at stools facing the street. Very nice bakery and coffee place. Stop here for your coffee. I online ordered the avocado toast on gluten free bread with bacon...so delicious!! I called immediately after to let them know how enjoyable it was. The gluten free bread held the balsamic beautifully and the avocado was bright green and the bacon crunchy. Perfect mid day snack to get me through my shift. Round of applause!
