As someone with Celiac Disease, I love knowing I can trust the kitchen with their Gluten Free options. So many places will tell you that they are safe when they are not. I come here often and have never had an issue. They mark everything and double check when you inform them.
Thank you Sanders Restaurant!
We’ve been to Hampton Socials in other locations, so were happy to see one when we were at this shopping center and ready for lunch. Beautiful aesthetic that makes you feel like you’re on vacation in New England, top notch customer service, and delicious food!
My husband ordered the Parmesan truffle fries to start, so decadent. He really enjoyed his smash burger too. When I ordered the chicken pesto bowl, the server asked if I had any allergies, and I said I have a gluten sensitivity. She immediately checked with the kitchen to see if there were any ingredients I shouldn’t have, and came back to say that the chicken usually is breaded, but they would leave that off on mine, and would also omit anything with a chance of cross contamination. Super impressed with how seriously they took this and how knowledgeable they were. The manager delivered my meal himself. The lack of bread crumbs certainly didn’t detract from the quality, it was an intensely flavored meal with interesting combination of fresh crisp vegetables, the warm chicken with pesto, crunch from pistachios, tang from feta and olives - just amazing.
My family arrived on a Sunday at around 3pm. We were seated right away. They have a kids menu so it’s definitely kid friendly. But should offer like a coloring page for the kids to do while the parents go through the long menu. There are so many good options and the menu is labeled clearly. They do have vegan options and gluten free if preferred. The menu also list how many calories each plate is. They have an extensive drink menu as well. The waiters give a good amount of time to be able to go through the menu which is a plus. Their soft drinks are coke products. The amount of food on the plate is perfect. The display is also nice so kudos to the chefs! The waiters also don’t write your order down. Which I was surprised at but they didn’t get anything wrong so good job on their extra listening skills. The dining room is upstairs on the second floor, there is an elevator If needed and extra seating at the bottom with the bar area.
The enclosed patio here is very cool at night. Everyone liked their food and service was great. I must mention that as a gluten free person it is more difficult to find craveable dishes, especially when dining Italian. Our server Shannon recommended the cacio e pepe with gluten free pasta and to add the veggies. I am looking forward to returning soon because I already want that again. Thank you Shannon!
Super friendly and cozy atmosphere! My friends and I love to eat here and hangout. We talk for hours and are welcome to stay after we finish eating. Unfortunately they do not offer gluten free bread to eat with their sandwiches or paninis. The Baja chicken bowl is gluten free though and is very tasty! The pastries are also delicious, especially the pumpkin muffins!!
Chick fil a has delicious chicken!! The chicken is extremely tender and flavorful every time! My meal is always hot as they cook the food fresh. I love their grilled chicken, and it’s amazing to have a gluten free option alongside the standard breaded chicken. They also have individually wrapped gluten free buns! Their fries are cooked in canola oil so those with peanut allergies can enjoy! Their fries are delicious as well.
I’ve had the pleasure of frequenting Sweet Reserve in Lombard and I’m excited to know they opened up a new spot in Skokie . I tried their Ras Malai Cake Jar, which was super yummy with its mix of cake and creamy Ras Malai. It wasn't too sweet, just perfect . Plus, they have gluten-free cookies that are just as tasty as the regular ones. Even if you can't have gluten, their cookies are delicious . Overall, Sweet Reserve is a great spot for anyone who loves desserts, whether you have dietary restrictions or not.
Okay, buckle up for a pastry pilgrimage! Tucked away like a secret treasure, this hidden gem unleashes a symphony of scratch-made goodness. Croissants whisper sweet secrets of butter, their golden layers teasing your taste buds. Scones, oh the scones! Flaky royalty, each bite a revelation that redefines flaky forever. And the kouign amann? Pure caramelized lightning, shattering like dreams that taste too good to be real.
But wait, there's more! Gluten-free friends, rejoice! This haven doesn't discriminate, it celebrates every palate. And then there's the coffee... a melodic chorus of beans, reaching its crescendo in the black sugar latte – a must-try if you like your mornings magical.
The vibe? Cozy as a cashmere sweater, friendly as a family reunion. The space? Well, let's just say it's intimate. Think "precious jewel box" not "expansive ballroom." So, set your alarms, lace up your pastry-hunting boots, and arrive early. This is a bakery worth the pandemonium. Trust me, your taste buds will sing hosannas after just one bite.
Food was tasty, but service poor and it wasn't good for special diets. I am vegan and gluten free, and ordered the vegan tofu scramble. It comes with veggie sausage and toast; they did not know if the sausage was gluten free, and when they checked still did not know. I asked for no sausage or toast, because of being gluten free, and I received sausage but no tofu. When I asked about it, the waiter repeatedly insisted I said no tofu, which I never said. The tofu looked and tasted like it was cooked in soy sauce, which is likely NOT gluten free, despite me telling them I was strictly gluten free. Very disappointed, will not be back.
