They do have gluten free options and the server took great care to ensure all the food was gluten free! My wife’s food was not gluten free as you can see by the photo 😂
This oceanfront spot offers a gluten-free flatbread with pesto, cherry tomatoes, fresh grated Parmesan, and balsamic drizzle that stands out for those seeking gluten-free options. The calm, old-world Hawai’i vibe enhanced by live ukulele music and refreshing sea breezes creates a memorable dining atmosphere. While the menu is limited, the perfectly cooked Opakapaka fish and the lovely outdoor area make it a serene choice for gluten-free diners wanting to enjoy both taste and setting.

Absolutely amazing place and wonderful atmosphere. We went in the evening after visiting the beach, kid friendly atmosphere, always playing good hawaiian music and then even had a live performer. The food was absolutely delicious, honestly in the top 2 restaurants we visited on the island.
They had gluten free options and made my sister the best gluten free pizza we've ever tasted. The shrimp and fish tacos were the best, and the Opakapaka was delicious. Highly recommend. Also has a great ocean front view and we got to watch the ocean and see a rainbow.
This tiny, cozy spot offers a fun and super cute atmosphere with limited seating that creates an intimate dining experience ideal for those seeking gluten-free options. The menu features gluten-free pork and shrimp tacos that are both flavorful and satisfying, complemented by a small patio perfect for enjoying the morning sun. The staff's willingness to accommodate gluten-free needs ensures a personalized meal, making this a noteworthy destination for gluten-sensitive diners.

We made a special trip to Hanalei just to eat at this restaurant. The French toast was more like a huge funnel cake and was absolutely delicious! The pork burrito was just above average. But the service and attitude was slow and downright rude when we informed them that a person in our party is extremely allergic to gluten and dairy. We asked if they could make the pork burrito without the tortilla and the cheese. It seemed like they were upset at such a request and were very put out to have to accommodate the request. But they said they would make it in a bowl and omit the gluten and dairy ingredients and place the sauce on the side. Which they forgot to give us the sauce on the side.
They also didn't put an ingredient/sauce on my standard burrito. When I asked for the sauce they said it would be an extra $1. I told them I shouldn't have to pay extra for sauce that should be on the burrito to start with. Then they started to grab the cup of sauce when I said I shouldn't have to pay for the missing sauce. Then I informed them that they forgot the side of sauce on the bowl burrito. Then I was told to just take the sauce in a very rude way as the person quickly turned and walked away.
This restaurant is extremely popular and the line was out the door as we left. So they must be doing many things right. I just wanted to let anyone with serious dietary restrictions, know of our experience when we asked to modify a dish so everyone in our party could enjoy this restaurant.
I also know anyone can have a bad day, and maybe this was the situation. But I've worked in the restaurant business for years in my parents restaurant and this level of rigidness and rudeness has no place in a customer facing position.
With a menu that's almost entirely gluten-free, this small family-run food truck offers a variety of flavorful options that make choosing a challenge in the best way. The vegetarian Fricassê stands out as a top gluten-free dish, complemented by a combo plate rich in protein that leaves you satisfied. Set amidst plants and Brazilian music, the chill, inviting atmosphere enhances the experience of savoring authentic Brazilian cuisine without gluten concerns.

Da Fazenda slaps. Lots of different great flavors on the combo plate, and a lot of protein to get you full. We shared a combo plate and a side of 3 pao de queijo (gluten free cheese bread) and were stuffed. For $31 it was a great value for 2 people. Side of salsa was crackin too. Go here
