We ordered takeout. Three people got Mongolian beef but one was ordered to be gluten free. They apparently didn’t think it was important to label which one was gluten free.
Not cool. Use common sense. Do better.
I ordered an iced latte with the maple and brown sugar syrup and oat milk. I also got the gluten free chocolate whoopie pie. Both were absolutely fantastic! I liked that they explicitly had it as an option to order without ice. Will definitely order from here again!
Came here for gluten free food by reading a blog. Only option was gf pancake and it was way below average. Waitresses are not knowledgeable about gluten so we waited 45 minutes and left hungry. Probably it is good place for regular people but it is no no if you are celiac.
Amazing menu, infinite customizing options, so yes you can bring your gluten free friends here. Very filling dishes, but save room for guava pastelito <3
My experience was wonderful, I highly recommend the chorizo omelet and the gluten free pancakes, Génesis John's service was fantastic, very accurate in his recommendations, sweet and attentive, the managers came to the table to see if everything was going well, thank you very much José and Gabriel, I will definitely return
Loved eating brunch there! Food was astounding and Duvan made the experience so pleasant. Taking his time to speak to us, answer my questions about gluten-free items and helping me practice my Spanish.
Your search for a delicious and nutritious meal is over. Nu Real Food has options for every diet need. As someone who is gluten-free, I greatly appreciate the variety of sans gluten options. I thought my days of eating eggs benedict were behind me. Luckily, Nu Real offers their benedict on top of a scrumptious GF carrot waffle. It was so good! Here's a tip: add some honey to the plain part of the waffle for a sweet and savory savory treat. For my beverage I drank a perfectly crafted matcha latte. On top of all this culinary delight, the restaurant's homey decor invites you to take your time enjoying your meal. Sit back against one of the plush pillows and take in the pleasant view. The neutral color scheme of wood, stone and cork has a calming effect. Don't stress about ordering. Just order at the counter and your freshly made food will be brought directly to you. This is what I call a fine dining experience.
Keep up the good work. The pricing has gone up, but the service and food remain excellent. Gluten free food in abundance - extra cost, but delicious. Fungi pizza is awesome as is the chicken piccata
I placed an online order of one loaf of Einkorn sourdough bread late on a Tuesday evening. Wednesday found my loaf of yummy bread in the mail and I received it on Thursday morning. I was curious as to its taste as I had not heard of Einkorn bread. Finding out that the grain not only had weak gluten bonds that helped gluten sensitive people digest the bread without major issues, but that Einkorn was also a purebred wheat grain berry grown during biblical times, made me want to try your special bread that much more. My Swedish roommate told me it tasted just like her grandmother's bread when she was a little girl and would visit her grandmother often. She loves it so much she too wants to buy that bread from you. It's delicious. I even took a slice and dipped it into extra virgin olive oil sprinkled with sea salt and ate three slices of it. Amazing! Thank you.
P.S. I'm planning on buying more Einkorn bread from you this week to share with friends during Resurrection Sunday weekend.
Yummy, excellent location. Gluten free available but there is a risk of cross contamination. My wife and I really loved the nopales and mushrooms, the kids thought the carne asada and chips were "good but not life changing"
Staff (owner) went above and beyond with quality: food, beverage, and especially service. Must stop in and try this wonderful business. Clean products gluten free, non GMO, dairy free, etc. Variety is delicious and nutritious. Hope that all can join in and support this business as it is a wonderful concept in serving the community:))
As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I was excited to try this bakery, especially since they promote themselves as catering to the gluten-free community. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and frustrating.
While they do have a few gluten-free cakes using alternative flours like almond, coconut, and oat (which is great!), the overall offering is extremely limited. Most of their savory pastries — empanadas, quiches, and other baked goods — are made with regular whole-grain flour. That completely defeats the purpose of claiming to be a gluten-free bakery. It’s confusing and misleading.
They also offer gluten-free cinnamon rolls, but only on weekends, and their gluten-free “pan de jamón” is reserved for holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving. So if you’re looking for a reliable daily gluten-free option, you’re out of luck. It really feels like they’re having an identity crisis — not sure if they want to be a gluten-free bakery or just occasionally offer gluten-free items.
To make things worse, the service at the counter is cold and unhelpful. Staff seem uninterested and annoyed when asked basic questions about the products. There’s no signage or clear explanation about what is or isn’t gluten-free, and you’re left guessing what you can eat.
Overall, this place has potential — there’s a clear demand for gluten-free bakeries — but unless they fully commit to their concept and improve their customer experience, I honestly think a new bakery with a clear gluten-free mission could come in and easily do it better.
My husband found this place by doing a Google search for restaurants near our hotel that had vegan food. I'm so glad that this place popped up on his search because it was phenomenal!
The whole restaurant is vegan and most is the dishes are also gluten free or can be made gluten free.
We decided to split a few things to try, which included:
French Fries with a side of Yummy Sauce
The Choricachapa
Mr Mitrano Burger with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun
All were so tasty and seemed very clean. The service and atmosphere were also spot on. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area looking for good vegan and gluten free choices.
This is the worst food experience at the airport I’ve ever had.
I have celiac disease and a lot of autoimmunity and digestive issues. Today I was at the airport with my 4 year old daughter and husband hopping for a good vacation. Our flight was delayed by 4 hours and I was getting hungry. In the menu I found a grilled chicken salad that I was able to eat relatively safe. I purchase it in the box to avoid cross contamination.
Exhausted I sat in the corner stool in their empty cafe. Waitress immediately approached us and told us we can’t be there because it’s dine in. There was a sign “seat yourself” and she said it’s for dine it only. We said that there are no options for my allergy and we purchased food from them, can we stay for 5 minutes and finish salad ? She literally told us with angry face that we should leave. And she repeated “you must leave and can’t take our chair”. I had to throw away in a garbage this salad and drink I purchased from them . I’ll be filing complaint with their headquarters since it’s unethical and purely illegal to treat people with disabilities this way. I would understand if the place would be filled with people and I would take somebody’s else place. Curly red hair waitress in the glasses - shame on you
We had a wonderful experience at Area 31 at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel. The food was excellent. They were able to easily accommodated our gluten allergy. It was also fun walking around the pool and seeing the Miami skyline and bay prior to dinner. We ate outside in June and the temperature was very comfortable.
They had THE most delicious gluten-free arepas. As a Celiac, I was so happy here. The Vegetarian and Pulled Pork arepas were to die for. So we’re the fried yuca and plantains we got. Will go here again!!!
During our visit, we opted to try a few different dishes from the extensive menu. First up was the New Yorker—toasted sourdough topped with whipped cream cheese, spiced za’atar, smoked salmon, sliced tomato, pickled red onion, alfalfa sprouts, and a drizzle of lemon oil. It was the perfect balance of flavors, and the freshness of the ingredients truly stood out.
We also couldn’t resist ordering the Cheese Quesadilla, made with a toasted gluten-free wrap and mozzarella, served with a side of mandarin oranges. Simple but absolutely satisfying, it was a hit with our daughter.
And, of course, no visit to Pura Vida is complete without trying their coffee. We savored a perfectly brewed café latte, which was rich, creamy, and exactly what we needed to fuel our day of exploring Miami.
Great food, cocktails and service! The fresh gluten free bread basket was a one of a kind addition. Nearly everything in the menu can be adapted to be gluten free with the exception of the pastas. We really enjoyed the butternut squash soup, salmon and Brussels sprouts. Will definitely plan to stop back by the next time we are in town; well worth the trip.

This is an incredible restaurant. I would highly recommend it! I had the eggs benidict. The desserts are so good, the chocolate cake was the best part. Temis was our waitress and she was very helpful with finding a meal and desert for our gluten-free family member. We will definitely come back when we are in Miami again!
Beautiful location overlooking the bay on the rooftop of a trendy hotel. Excellent service & food. Our entire group loved it. Our child devoured the fabulous bread basket. I’m addicted to the Bellini cocktail - so delicious. I have food issues (celiac) & the server was very knowledgeable. Almost everything on the menu could be made GF, except for the scallopini but they said they could also make a GF version of it if I wanted. They had a few different GF pastas. I’m used to just having GF penne substitute available at restaurants, so it was such a nice surprise to be able to get spaghetti alla vongole - which was delicious & perfectly cooked & hot. I will dream about that spaghetti when I leave. Also they had GF bread. Amazing desserts - get the pistachio a la minute! It’s a huge delicious soft serve. Other gelato is also amazing. GF desserts were marked on the menu (panna cotta & crème brûlée). Overall, very impressed. We had an excellent meal. Loved it. Will return. One of the best meals I ever had. Highly recommend.
Amazing food at Los Felix. The pork cheek carnitas were top notch and I can’t wait to come back and try more items. The service was really good and were very helpful and accommodating to my dairy restriction. They were extremely kind to tweak the granitas desert to eliminate dairy for me to be able to try it. The entire menu is mostly gluten free so huge win for us gluten intolerant diners. Highly recommend!!
I REALLY recommend this place for a group with dietary restrictions. We had brunch here with a big group. There’s amazing vegan and gluten-free options available and because there are so many restaurants to order from, we were ALL able to get exactly what we wanted. It was delicious!
Let me start by saying that you need 100% to make a reservation to dine here. My friends and I had the earliest reservation, and within minutes of the restaurant opening, the place was packed. This is quite ironic, as the ratings online are not that favorable to the place. And yet, I agree that this place is nothing more than okay. As someone gluten-free, I appreciate the gluten-free bagel's taste and quality. However, the salmon tower was nothing special. Some other menu items are also okay or extremely sweet, which is only sometimes pleasant. I do, however, need to praise their delicious chai latte. Regarding service, it could show improvement but is also average overall. What sets this place apart is the beautiful location and decor.
Our server, Matt, was very knowledgeable & helpful! He gave wonderful suggestions for my gluten free diet and made sure we enjoyed our meal. Will definitely go back!
Very nice and everything is very delicious, the only problem is that the gluten-free bread is a rock, but otherwise fresh ingredients and super good service
The staff is great and friendly, my wife has Celiac and the manager personally made sure it is safe to eat. Cocktails are amazing, music is great and a very trendy young vibe.
They have Gluten free arepas and they offer vegan cheese as a substitute. Lots of great options. We tried both the Pabellon and the Catira. Both amazing. Plantains are a favorite of mine and I can never get them made well on the west coast, they are perfect here. Great little spot. Highly recommend
Because great food served well is an art form, I am sharing with you guys what I can describe as the best dining experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Those who know me personally know I’ve been a Gordon Ramsay fan/follower for more than 20 years but until last night, had never had the opportunity to eat at his restaurants…. The only food of his I’d had was the one I taught myself to make (it IS delicious 😁). Father’s Day was a great opportunity to share with my parents an experience that truly exceeded my already VERY high expectations. Everything was flawless but let me share with you guys what truly moved me: I use a wheelchair. When we were shown to our table, my chair had already been taken out and I was given a direct view of the kitchens (because in speaking with the hostess - who, by the way, is a DARLING - she knew I was a huge fan.) this may seem inconsequential, but for someone who always has to worry whether she’ll be able to go places and them be wheelchair accessible, it’s truly special that with this “subtle gesture”, it was like them saying “we were expecting you”. I felt this & having a perfect, unobstructed view of the beloved kitchens was such a treat for me. The food? My goodness, EVERYTHING was perfect! Our server - Armando - was lovely, & told us how much he admires Chef Ramsay and how much he loves working there. For me, that speaks volumes on the workplace environment & who is being hired.
If Chef Ramsay happens upon this post, (a girl can dream 🙏…) I want him to know how my evening was and how grateful I am to have been able to experience his art in food form because it was a treat to celebrate my dad in such a phenomenal place. My parents - who are incredible cooks - were beyond impressed! I wasn’t able to taste the Beef Wellington because of celiac’s disease so…Chef Ramsay, maybe one day you create a gluten free version? 🙏💪😁🙈.
If any of you guys have not had the chance to go to his restaurants, GO!! I promise you it’s more than worth it and you’ll come out having had a culinary experience unlike any other. 💜🥰 My pictures are nice, but they definitely don’t do the beautiful dishes justice. They were like little works of art made of food.
