Needed a wedding cake for a small group that was vegan & gluten free. It being nut free was an added bonus as we did have a friend with said allergy that I was just going to buy regular cupcakes for. We got the small brownie cake with coffee frosting. It’s a very rich cake and we had plenty of leftovers. It was so cute and the perfect size for our small group.
OMG! DELICIOUS!! We ordered different things so we could taste it all! Cornbread…are you kidding me? Shrimp and grits…so deliciously creamy. Oxtail tacos…flavor burst! Fried green tomatoes…so good! Mac and cheese…so cheesy! Here’s the kicker…it’s GLUTEN FREE!! Are you kidding me?! We will be back very soon!! The staff and owner are so kind and gracious! So sweet and attentive! Oh wait….gotta go…my gluten free peach cobbler is coming!! Trust me….eat here!!!
Swingers in Hollywood isn’t just a diner—it’s a slice of LA history with a side of sass and really good fries. This place has been serving up late-night eats and early-morning recoveries since the days when indie bands and studio execs shared booths. It’s got that lived-in cool without ever trying too hard: checkerboard floors, jukebox charm, and the low hum of a city that never quite sleeps.
The food? Way above the curve for diner fare. Think golden pancakes with just the right chew, fresh arugula tucked into a breakfast burrito, wild-caught tuna melts that taste like someone in the kitchen actually cares. Whether you’re vegan, gluten-free, or just hungover and looking for comfort, they’ve got something legit—and made with better ingredients than you’d expect at 2am on Sunset.
What really pulls it all together is the staff. Engaged, sharp, always game for a little banter if you are, or just genuinely attentive if you’re flying solo. They know their regulars, but they’re just as warm to first-timers.
Swingers is the kind of place that keeps its edge without losing its heart. A diner that feels like home—if your home had really good huevos rancheros and cooler people hanging around.
Server natalie j was a gem! She was very careful with my Celiac disease. The food was great, the short rib was a little over done, however, the beverages were superb, and I had a great time overall!
Such a cool place! The server was doing it all and doing such an amazing job! They had gluten free options, which was a plus for us! The food was amazing and a great price!
The food is delicious, and place itself is awesome, they have board games that we can play while waiting for the food, and they also have gluten free food.
Amazing gluten free options, especially for those with a sweet tooth. Best GF doughnut I've ever eaten. Great spot for something to eat and drink after a hike.

great gluten free donuts!! not sure if they are celiac friendly, i would ask before purchasing, but they are a great option for people trying to avoid gluten for diet reasons
The menu is extensive! I love the Spinach Benedict and the strawberry french toast (both made gluten free) with their mimosa. This is the perfect weekend/ post-hike treat.
Was visiting from out of state and had this door dashed all 4 days I was there! So good! I have celiac and a wheat allergy. They have a clean kitchen and are allergy friendly. The gluten free bun option makes the iconic and big zac burgers a great gf option. The iconic fries are a favorite as well
I walked from his coffee and donut shop to his taco cantina after noticing the coffee spot on my way to an interview and had to u-turn following it to actually visit. Both locations were great.
The server was very friendly and helped me situate myself somewhere else when I needed to charge my phone. They have gluten-free and dairy-free options in one, I got the pork tacos. I’m usually not a big fan of pork, probably should have went with chicken. However, the hot sauce was amazing. I bought a bottle. I wish I could afford to eat like that all the time.
Cute and vintage on the inside, too nice though to not sit on the sidewalk patio. Prices are steeper than indicated--$$-$$$. So much gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan selection though, and safely labeled. As in they seem to really understand cross contamination and not joist call something GF even though it then goes in the frier. Anyway, all day breakfast with both the enchiladas and juevos rancheros we're truly out of this world. The sauces, the fresh guac, cilantro, came out hot and so visually appealing I didn't stop to take a photo. Shakes were unbelievably creamy. Kids had what looked like the best burgers of their lives on fresh toasted rolls, thick melty cheese, and lacy crisp edges on the beef. The onion rings looked, sounded, and smelled amazing but I didn't eat one... gluten. Would absolutely come back, highly recommended!
My friend can't eat gluten because of her celiac disease, which makes it a bit hard to find a place that have alterative. This place that I found by surprised actually have gluten free tator tots, bread, and many dishes can be altered without taking out a major component, which is amazing!
Also to find options that are vegetarian and vegan-friendly is nice.
I love the option of indoor and outdoor seating!
Not to mention, the bathroom - is beautiful! There are a lot of options on the menu and the food is pretty good, even the ones with alternative ingredients tasted delicious!
The only issues is trying to find parking, however there is a paid lot next to the restaurant that cost about 0.75 cent every 30 minutes. Parking seems strict as there is a parking meter guy standing by the meters and getting ready to write tickets.
Would come back again! Waitresses and waiters are super nice and friendly!
Oh Oste, what can I say? Best Italian in LA? YES definitely, but who’s going to believe me considering all I seem to review are Thai restaurants? The staff is warm and attentive, the food is fabulous (fyi all their world-class pizzas just happen to be nearly gluten-free) and the whole space glows like a big bronze lantern. Come and see for yourself. Really picks up after 7pm— Xx
Really nice place with a cute outdoor garden. Unfortunately I came here while it was raining in LA (what are the chances of that, right?!) Regardless I had a great time and really enjoyed their coffee. They do have wifi and a nice atmosphere. I had a breakfast burrito that had plant based sausage and I was pretty pleasantly surprised by that. They also had fresh pastries and some gluten free options. Overall definitely will come here again and it has a good vibe.
Hands down the best donuts in LA! Even just their plain glazed donut was absolutely perfect. They have lots of options for gluten free and vegan donuts.
Lemon Grove showcases Chef Vigneron’s. We had a great evening under the beautiful starts of Hollywood. This rooftop restaurant boasts vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. There is a live DJ playing lively music. There are three sections to this restaurant which sits rooftop of the Aster hotel. There is the dining section and a private area for large groups. The Bar area and lounge area. There are great views throughout the restaurant of the Hollywood sign, Hollywood hills, and Capitol tower records. This is a relaxing, trendy restaurant. Our food came hot and fast! Super tasty! Our server was really awesome (sorry I forgot her name). She checked on our table often to ensure we had what we needed. After dinner we moved over to the lounge area and enjoyed the lounge area with fireplace and a beautiful sunset view. The cocktails are delicious and not watered down.
Not just for bread lovers! Many gluten free accommodations available. Maybe less for hardcore celiacs, but the gf bun burger is excellent. Our excellent server, Matthew, brought me a GF brownie so I didn’t feel left out while the party enjoyed their cinnamon roll. The pecan cold brew was the perfect accompaniment. Love this place will be back again and again.
All Time is one of my all time favorite spots in Los Feliz, see what I did there? ;)
I've only been to All Time for breakfast and love their crispy rice. They have plenty of gluten free options. Their bakery even has a gluten free mochi pastry. The interior of All Time is so cute and great after a hike or for a date.
I got an acai bowl. It was good and the fruit was fresh. The service was really nice. They had a few other things to eat, but not much that was labeled gluten free. They also don't to espresso drinks like mocha or could i get a coffee with cream. The atmosphere was cool with a lot of skateboard themes.
One of the top five breakfast experiences of my life. Our server was a complete pro. They don't have gluten free toast options so he kindly offered corn tortillas as an alternative and we appreciated it 100%. There was no wait, we were seated immediately, offered our choice of tables. The chilaquiles is served with scrambled eggs on top, but I like chicken on them too. I was thrilled to see they offer chicken breast on the menu and it's not just one but TWO very big grilled breasts. The portions were large and we only finished half of what were served. We loved eating our dishes again the next morning.
Convenient valet parking and great waiters. Indoors and patio seating. Very glad they had gluten free options indicated on the menu and that they do lettuce wrapped burgers!
I used the drive thru. Ordered ASTRO burger but had to get it lettuce wrapped and fries because I can't eat gluten and they don't have gluten free buns. I don't think its fair that restaurants cater to mostly "vegans" but very rarely to gluten free people. But anyways it was good either way. My daughter ordered another ASTRO burger with everything and some chili cheese fries, and I ordered some chicken fingers for my baby, can't forget the Dr. peppers! The lady working drive through was very thorough and friendly.
