Called to find out about gluten free options and the server was more then happy to answer all questions I had and accommodate our needs to the best of their ability. One member in our party is vegetarian and we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of options for them as wel. Despite all our different dietary needs, we all had fantastic food, great service and the mellow vibe of the restaurant made for a great breakfast. Thank you to the staff and cooks.
Have had great meals here in the past, but super bummed about how simple, boring, and dry the burger is now on the new menu!
Granted I always order it gluten and dairy free, but the older burger had sauces and fixings which still made it mouthwatering without the cheese. Now, not so much.
Not sure how common this complaint is given the dietary modifications, but it would be amazing to get a slightly more exciting and tasty burger back on the menu.
I love the steak and eggs breakfast. It’s gluten free, filling, and delicious. On this particular morning my steak was cold and a bit tough. I could have sent it back and I’m certain it would have been rectified but I was too hungry and didn’t want to wait. Nonetheless I still enjoyed my meal. The star of the show was the vegan Trea Leches Pancakes. I wanted a sweet treat after my meal so the waitress suggested I order it as a side (1 pancake ). It was so delicious!!! It is a must order!
They do a great job and I LOVE that they offer GF options on some stuff. Some of the combinations are weird to me because the cinnamon in the rolls is VERY prominent toy pallet. However, in our house for the gluten eaters we love the apple pie roll. And for the GF eaters the GF brownies are BOMB! just make sure you call ahead to order as they don't make them daily.
What a treat to have in Long Beach! They are known for their bread and baked goods, but their lattes are unbelievably good, and consistent. They have great natural wines for sale and other fun goodies in the shop. I'm gluten-free, so sadly can't have much in terms of food, but I think they do make a wheat-free financier (obviously not for those who are sensitive to cross-contam). I typically get bacon, potatoes, avocado - just some sides, which are all great. Definitely get their homemade jam - whatever it is, just get it. :)
