The food tastes amazing here, the owner is awesome and gave me some really great tips for my gluten intolerance! Would definitely recommend coming here
LOVED: Fun atmosphere. Great menu. So many fresh, creative choices. The food presentation is spot on. Easy access to water and condiments. Quick beverage service.
LIKED:
Out table server (she delivered the food. You order at the counter) was friendly and worked to take care of us after the ordering server had messed up our order. She was great! Ordering was taken wrong which resulted in delayed food and overcharge. The food seems real fresh. It was very good - creative - but a bit greasy for me. I should have skipped the cheese on my tofu scramble and skipped the James Dean sausage. I don't like greasy. I think others would have loved it. The tofu with peanut was tasty.
MEH:
The gluten free French toast was ok but not great. I like eggy French toast. This was airy and fluffy. Others may have loved it.
I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place and I would come back again. I would just change my order a little. I do wish they had some egg free breakfast options. I'm thinking this would not be a good place for a vegan.
Went for brunch with my friend. We were seated outside and the weather was perfect. The shade and fans outside kept us cool while it was nice and sunny. Ordered gluten free pancakes 🥞 and they were delicious. 😋 Will stop by again when I'm in the area.
I usually get the Fuzzy Peach smoothie, and it's delicious every time! You can have them make any smoothie with fresh squeezed juice, which is the way I order it. The staff is always pleasant. They have a variety of protein boosts you can add to your smoothies, and they have a pretty big menu of food to select from. I haven't tried any food yet, but I'll update this review once I do. They also have ice cream, cake slices, baked goods, and gluten-free baked goods. My daughter has had the ice cream and said it was the best chocolate ice cream she's ever had.
LL has been one of my favorite cupcake shops for years. It’s no easy task getting vegan and gluten free to taste so delicious. Lately, I’ve been enjoying their other baked goods and a Pete’s coffee for breakfast. Highly recommended.
Our first experience trying gluten free pizza in Chico. I love their happy hour and I'm so glad they had GF options! We had the best server and never felt rushed on a busy Friday night. I can't wait to try more dishes!
Very cute, yummy and friendly. Staff treated me with a smile and friendly demeanor. The decoration is clean and historical which highlights the classic architecture. I am gluten free and dairy free. There are gluten free pancakes and toast options. I went with my favorite, corn beef and hash. Wowza! You can really tell this is real beef, with its delicious chunks. The only thing that would make it better is to have stoneground mustard instead of classic, but delicious nonetheless.
We loved our time at La Cocina Economica! Food was delicious (we got the sopes and enchiladas with gluten free verde sauce!), staff was so friendly, and the margaritas were amazing!
Our new favorite coffee shop in Chico! This adorable place is run by a sweet mother-daughter duo and sells locally sourced food and drinks. We tried the breakfast sandwich and Denver breakfast burrito. Both were exceptional. Real food that is real delicious. We had blended coffees that were sweet and smooth. The staff provided great customer service and even had a dog bone for our pups. We'll come back when we're in town next time. Definitely recommend! The even had gluten free options.
I found the Chicken Salad to be competitive to Farmer's Skillet, just closer to my current living space. I don't sit-in restaurants any more, due to an anti-gluten diet and obvious costs. An overwhelming craving for chicken breast was strong - a nutritional need, for white meat. The price of the meal $15.00 was exactly the same as well to my relief and delight.
This coffee shop is in Meriam park. There is a large parking lot surrounding the building. Also great sidewalks around the community so an easy walk from the neighbor park where we play piackleball.
They have indoor and outdoor seating. Well behaved pets and children are welcome. They have two unisex bathrooms.
They serve coffee and tea, baked goods, and other breakfast items. I'm dairy free and they easily accommodate my needs. There are limited gluten free options.
This is a busy place, but the staff do an excellent job of getting it right.
They also have a rewards program to earn free product.
Would recommend! Inviting staff and overall aesthetic of the place was nice. Outdoor seating if you want with nice lights and pups allowed. I had heard the margaritas here were really good and let me tell you they were great!! We tried the avocado peach and the blackberry, both blended with a Tajin rim. Chefs kiss, they were delicious and we will be back for these again! We tried the quesabarilla tacos and the Baja tacos (pictured) which were tasty and did not disappoint . Several menu items looked and sounded good and were gluten free.
Stopped in while charging at the nearby Electrify America station. Friendly staff. Chill atmosphere. I wasn't entirely shocked when I asked the staff if the syrup for the mocha was gluten free and they weren't sure of the answer. Thankfully these syrups don't typically contain gluten and it is more of a cross contact concern. So I took the chance and so far, so good.
