We needed a place to stop on a road trip and this place was so good. I got the salad (the name was something like "that sounds good salad"). We went with kids and they enjoyed it as well.
There is a cute shop in the back and while I was too full for pie, they looked amazing.

I highly recommend this place! Not only was the food absolutely delicious but our waiter, who was the owner, was so helpful and attentive from the moment we sat down. The restaurant doesn’t have a set menu and changes daily with the ingredients they have which was a really neat idea. El Corral on 66 was TOP QUALITY! I’ve eaten Mexican food for many years and I live right by super authentic Mexican restaurants and spots, and I was blown away to travel to a tiny town with such good Mexican food! Our server was super friendly, she was very attentive and kind. I had a carne asada burrito with half green and half red sauce, the steak was top quality, super delicious, and the whole experience was lovely. My girlfriend is gluten free and vegan and she had plenty of protein in her meal, we love restaurant that can accommodate her restrictions. Thank you for the wonderful food and experience!
