Lovely little cafe in the heart of town, caters for 'gluten free'. Had a lovely breakfast here, outside dining and a small inside area - 2 tables.

I just work around the corner, and for the past 2 years, I have never had a bad (or even so-so) meal here. Just the opposite! The food is fresh and locally sourced and always served beautifully with delicious dressings and garnish. I appreciate this as, since the pandemic, so many places have cut back and increased their prices, but the deli's prices and portion sizes are spot on. Also, I am gluten free and really appreciate that they cater for coeliacs. And another good thing is they're open on Mondays.

Warm and welcoming cafe. Kind and friendly staff. Delicious and mouth-watering food! Amazing vegetarian options as well. With the options of vegan and gluten free as well. The atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. They had lovely local handmade products for sale. And the best cakes and bakes too!

I am updating my review, having revisited the Greenhouse yesterday - almost exactly a year after my review below, which I will leave in place. The reason I am updating my review is, I wish to add further detail concerning their Gluten Free options, specifically that they now offer a dedicated GF menu, whereas before they were just happy to try and accommodate my request (with not entirely perfect results). The staff were able to advise on GF options, and knew how each dish would be modified to ensure it was GF. The majority of the menu was available, which made a very pleasant and welcome change from most restaurants. Original Review from August 2017: -- Modern and comfortable environment, friendly staff and excellent food. We were 3 adults and a 6yr child, and were given the choice of seating in the main restaurant, and offered drinks quickly. I think we were served by all of the members of staff during our visit, but continuity was great - no being re-visited to check we were happy, etc. The menu doesn't have a huge selection of meals on offer, but I prefer that. Between us, we had a steak, fish, a burger and kids sausage & mash, and all were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.
