As a coeliac and lactose intolerant person I was happy to find a place that was able to safely cater for breakfast and lunch! I didn’t love my breakfast, but I LOVED the chicken Vietnamese salad I had for lunch. Like it was the best lunch I had in my New Zealand travels.
They are coeliac aware and take extra care with gluten free meals. Nice staff members and pleasant atmosphere. Enjoyed my coffee too!
Very popular place.
It was just on the outskirts of the main city area, within comfortable walking distance.
Being gluten free I was impressed with the offerings available to me.
Lovely vibes. Highly recommend.
Absolutely love this cafe.
I'm celiac and they have their own cabinet just for gulten free item's.
They have tongs just for gulten free item's.
The Hot Chocolate are gulten free.
Mocca is gulten free first time I had a mocca I could literally enjoy.
No zing or burn no reaction.
Warm kind staff.
Environment very Cosy.
Easy to hear conversations.
They truly understand people who are allergic.
Great afternoon view over the bay, I had a gluten free fish and chips which were cooked in a separate fryer which is fantastic as a coeliac.
Fish batter was light and crunchy and shoestring chips were great. Very relaxing spot.
Thank you
Great fresh burgers and friendly staff. Had two rounds because the first burger was so nice
Accommodating of Gluten Free (celiac) for the burgers. Chips are GF but unfortunately cooked in the same fryer as crumbed things.
Absolutely delicious. Many gluten free options, I went with the grain salad that the barista recommended and it was absolutely delicious. Coffee is from a local roaster. It would for sure be a regular spot if I lived close!
I had gluten free battered blue cod for lunch and it was D'lish ! The batter was light and crispy sooo good. Staff really friendly and welcoming, definitely recommend ☺️
The gluten free The Classic burger and Japanese Donburi salad bowl I ordered online were delicious, generous and cooked perfectly.
I have always enjoyed Pita Pit gluten free wraps but this time wanted to try something different.
I ate the egg’d burger while it was still hot and saved the bowl for lunch the next day.
I will definitely be back soon.
Really good coffee and a great selection of gluten free food. I had a frittata, which was tasty, but I’d probably try something off the menu next time. The gf yo-yo was delicious!
Amazing food and great for coeliacs. Plenty of gluten free options and they asked if we were coeliac or intolerant. So good that we went back the next day. We shared bacon and egg pie, spinach and feta scone and cauliflower pizza; next day we both had eggs bene.
Delicious food, great service, and they were able to accommodate for a gluten allergy!!Ordered the Julio’s corned beef carnitas hash w/out the cheese (absolutely delicious), GF eggs benny w/ streaky bacon, and a side of the potatoes. Also got an iced latte and a coffee which were nice.
Really great place for dinner! Lots of gluten free options and great drinks. The service is outstanding! We went here 2 nights in a row as we loved it so much the first night that we couldn’t leave Dunedin without going again.
Moinho cafe, recently established in Queenstown’s Frankton area, is an extension of the renowned Padaria do Moinho bakery founded in Cuiabá. The Queenstown branch continues the tradition of quality artisanal baking, offering a tempting range of breads, cakes, and savory treats in a relaxed, welcoming café setting. The menu blends Brazilian and South American flavors with New Zealand café classics and caters to various dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
Portions are generous-one cheese scone was enough for two-and the cabinet food looks appealing. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the cappuccino we had was well made. The café’s casual, family-friendly atmosphere makes it a great spot for breakfast, brunch, or a relaxed lunch. Our experience was enhanced by the clean premises and reasonable prices.
Moinho cafe stands out for its fresh, quality baked goods, friendly service, and unique Brazilian flair, making it a welcome addition to Queenstown’s café scene.
Eggs-cellent little cafe for breakfast and all day hot and cold foods. Good selection of cakes to have with a hot tea or coffee. My wife enjoyed the Bennie - poach egg on a stack of bacon and hash brown and I enjoyed my breakfast gluten free pie. Really recommend if in the area.
Absolutely brilliant place to take friends and family staff are super friendly and polite great atmosphere the food was absolutely amazing
Catered for gluten-free
I had the nachos, they are offered gluten free and provided perfectly. The food was incredible and eating on the patio on a beautiful day makes it so much more enjoyable. Thank you!
Wow! Go see Lily ! The gorgeous lady who greets you with a smile. Nothing is a problem. She is service exemplified. Kind and caring and the food here is next level. They do a seeded bread with no gluten and is so yummy. Worth a visit ♥️♥️
Called in there today to get lunch on our way through ,the gf options were really good and the food its self will be reason i will go back very tasty ,well done to the cooks for making nice food and a big thumbs up to the management for looking after us coeliacs .
Great food and coffee! One of the best coffees I had while travelling in New Zealand. Lots of gluten and dairy free options! Everything looked amazing.
We were happy to see Afix open this morning after not finding anything in Tarras. Our Coffee and Hot Chocolate was great and the selection in the food cabinet looked delicious. They also had fresh out of the oven cheese scones including gluten free! Service was fast and friendly for our take away drinks.
A really nice cafe. Food is very tasty and they have healthy options, and also gluten free options. The coffee was really good too. It is very central and the staff were super friendly and quick. Highly recommend.
We were staying at the Ramada and ended up having two dinners and a breakfast here - was so good. Great service and very accomodating to my partner who is gluten free. Truffle fries were amazing
Wow. I had the avocado smash. I have to avoid gluten and nightshades to keep my joints happy, and they totally understood and did not cause me to feel embarrassed in any way. And it was hearty and delicious! Sweet and charming place! Tons of food too.
Food is delicious and portion size is generous. The Brunch menu has varied options of sweet and savoury meals for a hearty Brunch. Nasi Lemak and Beef Rendang as a brunch option is a must try. But bear in mind the Nasi Lemak has spicy sambal on the side. There are also generously sized sandwiches and pies available at the counter ready to be heated should One not want something from the Brunch menu. The the Beef Rendang Pie and the Chicken Panini is already a good serving size for one.
There are Vegetarian, Dairy-Free and Gluten free options in the Brunch Menu and at the counter (for baking deliciousness:pies, sandwiches/paninis etctc).
Beef and Chicken are also Halal
The cafe has on street parking that’s on a first come first serve basis. Spacious enough to have a group of 6 people for Brunch. Could extend to up to 8 or more but might have to combine tables.
There is wheel chair accessibility from the side entrance/back entrance.
It’s well worth a try for a cafe that’s a near good ocean views. I’ve been back for Brunch for several times and will continue on for the near future.
I thought the mushroom risotto I had was super delicious! It's gluten free/celiac friendly :) It has small pieces of mushroom and it's not overly mushroomy so even if you're not a big fan of them (like me) it's overall very yum.
My family got the big breakfast, caeser salad, and chicken burger with fries and they were all happy with their meals.
I would suggest you add the allergens such as gf to your menu please. The risotto only had (v) next to it.
