So finished a great break to Iceland with a return 3 years since we were last here. The Apotek restaurant doesn’t disappoint, the food was…and this in my mind a measure of how great it was, the best meal to finish off a great holiday. Service was great from the start, the waitress Helena (a fellow Brit), was superb in her attentiveness was superb, great conversation and an asset to the restaurant. Anyhow, they cater for coeliacs and can easily provide gluten free food options. Trust me you won’t be disappointed, well I hope note. Try it and I hope you have an equally high quality culinary experience. When we return, dare I say it, it’ll be a return all being well.

Amazing free refillable coffee. They managed to alter the menu for gluten free which was fab and not a problem. Nice light brunch

Excellent place for breakfast, assorted choice of various types of desserts (gluten free products also available). The cappuccino is also very good. Clean and well-kept interior as well as welcoming. Friendly and attentive customer service. Almost central location.

The gluten-free brownie is fart-dry! Every Suoermarkt mix is ​​better! The vegan carrot cake was ok, but not a hit and at 10 euros it was simply too expensive! There are definitely better coffees in Reykjvik!
