It was very busy and there were only about 6 tables.
Ordered a large milkshake to share and two burgers with fries. Our food was delivered, and our milkshake was forgotten. I went up to the counter, and the man asked what we had again. I said large chocolate, but when it he made it, he made a small. The table next to us said this is the large. I didn't feel like going back up there as my food was getting cold. The gluten free bun was good.
It was good, just disappointing.
Five stars across the board! Food was incredible, staff was delightful, and the kitchen was so accommodating for my dairy and gluten allergies. Had the lamb tartare, the arctic char, and the roast potatoes with chimmichuri. Honestly, wish I would have eaten dinner here also because it was so good.
Strongly recommend visiting if you’re looking for a fabulous bite to eat in a very nice environment.

Very good cuisine😁, the dishes are neat and the taste is really there.
The waitresses are kind to explain to us based on a dietary restriction.
Quite expensive for a dish with 6 potatoes. The menu is quite short in choice and that's good because the fewer there are, the better the dish.
The desserts all look delicious but very few are gluten-free.
Patisserie!
Wonderful little cakes that always have a new look!
Plenty of gluten-free options available.
I've been there twice and I wasn't disappointed!
The photos speak for themselves!
Very friendly owner who runs the shop alone.
A must-visit - it tastes wonderful!
Nice place they have gluten-free options but obviously can not guarantee cross contamination, but they do try and make an effort. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Service was great! Food was even better! As a celiac they were aware of myneeds and the menu clearly labeled. I was able to get a 3 course gf meal here. Very good choice.
Gluten free friendly!
It's a lovely restaurant and it's great being able to watch the cows whilst having your meal. The burgers are amazing and they do gluten free bread for the burgers!
The ice cream is a must and is by far the best ice cream we have had!
Highly recommended!
After the road, just such a little break. The yellow house attracts my curiosity, the place and the service are impeccable, the owners are super nice and helped me to eat gluten-free and a little extra because they know how to speak a little French. Even the pastries are gluten free or vegan.
P8The dishes are delicious😋, we can only give five stars to congratulate such an establishment!
A very pleasant place, very comfortable, not noisy!
They have a large interior on 2 floors and a beautiful terrace!
Stop for a break 😁😁
The staff was so friendly! I heard the barista talk to the customers before me about great cafes and restaurants for vegan and gluten free diets, which I think is really nice.
The cafe was very aesthetic too with lots of seating and in the middle of the main street in Reykjavik. I got the iced matcha latte and it was honestly one of the best matcha lattes I've had. Definitely will go again!
There is a pleasant atmosphere here 😎 good music and a nice man at the entrance, who greets you and takes you to a table 👍🏻 it was important to us that the dish was really gluten-free, and the restaurant employee kindly agreed to check if the dish was really gluten-free 👏🏻 we ordered Nachos with Chicken 👍🏻 it's a pity that there are not many gluten-free dishes, I would like to try something else 😋
You have to come here. You Have To Come Here. YOU HAVE TO COME HERE!
They have one of the best (if not the best) fish soups I have had in my life❤️❤️❤️
If you’re celiac, they have specially prepared lamb or tomato soups. You can have as many lamb or tomato refills as you want. Their service is super friendly.
Prices are more than fair for Icelandic average. And, there were FREE Waffles?!!
I would give 6 stars if I could 🤩
Cute little cafe near hotel and main street. Both the mocha and chai latte were delicious. Some gluten free pastries available and the lemon pound cake was my favorite!
Best cappuccino we’ve had during our trip in Iceland! The homemade almond-lemon-pear-cake (gluten free) and apple pie were lovely. We extended our visit with the soup of the day: coconut-Christmas spices. Very tasty! They have great service for individuals as well as large groups.
Every bite of each meal was delectable. I was skeptical of the veggie burger as usually in many restaurants it is dry and tasteless, but this is the best one I ever had in my life. So much flavor in the veggie burger. I highly recommend it.
The staff is very nice and social, we had a little chat as well and they are all very helpful.
The tea and coffee are complimentary which is very kind of them.
There are many tasty options for people with dietary restrictions: options for vegans, vegetarians, lactose free and I believe even gluten free but I am not 100% sure.
Highly recommend eating here as it is just so worth it.
Wonderful place for any meal. Coming from the States and staying near by, this was our go to place, especially for the Swiss mocha in the morning:) The food was delicious and they had gluten free options. The service and staff were excellent and very welcoming. Don’t hesitate to stop in. 5 stars all the way
Popped in for lunch on a very chilly day in Akureyri in January. Helpful staff who happily checked if the chicken and avocado sandwich could be made on gluten free bread. It could and led t a very happy customer. Thank you
A few gluten free items, including bread. Seafood soup and Char were my choices. I found the fish under seasoned, but I know some people just love the flavor of the fish to shine.
My husband and I will go on record to say this cafe has the BEST Hot Chocolate we've ever had, in any country, ever! I am gluten free and there were many food options to enjoy as well - the almond pastry and gf bread with butter, ham and cheese were fantastic. My husband really enjoys the waffles. Already have another trip to Iceland planned and this stop is one of the first on the list!
Five stars for the cats that came up and made contact 😻🫶🏼even all 100 stars 🙀🫶🏼😼 and three for the staff, for some reason the blonde woman with glasses was tense and not very friendly 🫤 we waited from 10:00 for the opening, and the doors opened after about 20 minutes, but I didn't hear: sorry for the delay, we are glad to welcome you! There was not even a smile, they just strictly told how to enter the cafe. And it's not about the remarks, the rules for treating cats are very important! I picked up the cat and it's wrong! I accept this comment with full understanding 🙌🏻
The avocado toast was not tasty at all 👎🏻 but the cakes here are quite tasty and the coffee is served with a very nice picture 😻👍🏻 unfortunately only one cake is gluten-free, but delicious with peanuts 👍🏻 if your birthday is on this day - as a gift you will receive a napkin in the form of a paw, that's all 😊
Such a quiet beautiful spot - I found this place by chance and was delighted that their restaurant could accommodate gluten free dietary needs. I also loved that the hotel was named after an inspiring woman who educated and traveled when it was much less common for women to do so. Beautiful walks nearby too!
This was a great find, small, a bit funky, unpretentious, out of the way and unexpected. The food was Outstanding, we both had fish and I wish I could have eaten more it was so good. Service was charming and informal. I was a bit worried as they said that they had several staff folks out sick that day, but they pulled it off in style. Also, Great if you have gluten issues.
The food is unreal, so tasty and prepared with so much care. They have gluten free options.
Great location and great view from the windows.
I love the fact that they don't serve whale meat.
Great restaurant! The servers were all really nice! They have lots of gluten-free options.
The whale tataki and the curry were tasty, but I wouldn’t necessarily get them again. However the horse fille and cheeseburger were amazing!!! I really recommend trying those if you eat here!
My husband and I went here on a whim. I cannot recommend it enough. The Reykjavik mule was 10/10. We did tapas and had: pan fried perch, potatoes, carrots, butternut risotto, and the seafood soup. Everything was amazing and gluten free. I will be back!
