Gluten free this place is it… enough options to put any celiac in a good mood. Was something new to try and the pastries are a must have. Amazing coffee to go with it 10/10
10/10 recommend!! The workers are so kind and there is a huge variety of options. Compared to US gluten free prices, these prices were great. Right off the train stop!
Things got worse with the menu change!!!
I was always very enthusiastic about Isabella's, a dream for people with celiac disease. The bread and cakes taste great. I always enjoyed breakfast too. BUT since the new menu, things have gotten really bad. No more hearty breakfasts with cheese and/or sausage, just pre-made sandwiches, and all of them come with either avocado or something with chickpeas. Super annoying for people who can't eat either! No more pancakes either.
I hope they rethink the new system! It's poorly designed. They should have just kept the old breakfast menus (or reduced them) and added the new breads, so there's something for everyone. The system is pretty stupid as it is.
Too bad :/
The glutenfree patisserie is just amazing. They have so much glutenfree bakes as cakes, breads, buns and so mich more. The coffee is good as well. Highly recommended!
Went as a family with our two young children. We were promptly helped and provided a high chair. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pizza was great how delightful to find a gluten free dinner option! Celiac sufferers in Kassel rejoice!
This Café was a very beautiful little place for gluten free! Vegan AND SUGAR FREE!
Their menu was amazing and it had a lots of variety and diverse cuisine.
Their drinks were amazing i recommend the carrot juice and the sugar free hot cocoa.
The service was nice and friendly, and super fast.
Their atmosphere was cosy and wonderful, they had comfy seats and they showed love in their interior design through fresh flowers on every table.
It was slightly pricey but very worth it!
It’s a gluten free and sugar free and vegan HEAVEN !
First, I'd like to mention the exceptionally friendly staff. 😊
For me, as someone with celiac disease, it's paradise. Eating everything on the menu is simply amazing. The pizzas were delicious.
We'll definitely be back next time we're in Munich. 😊
Best gluten free place in Berlin. Cakes are just delicious, place is super cozy and service was really nice. Special note for the New York cheesecake, you don’t even notice it is gluten free. Will definitely come back!
My gluten-free mecca! Whenever I'm nearby, there's no way around the Backbrüder (bakery brothers). Great croissants, chocolate-flavored pastries, and heavenly cakes. My favorite: the raspberry-lemon cloud (see forum). Unfortunately, the café had to make way for a bakery for classes. A bit of a shame—hence only 3 stars for the ambiance.
We are a vegan couple. I am gluten intolerant and try to limit sugar as much as possible, so this place seemed perfect for us. We ordered two kinds of tacos, one with jackfruit and one with "beef" and fries. The "beef" steaks were not cooked at all, as if they had been microwaved to be cooked, we took one bite, it was really bad... we preferred not to touch it again. We are used to cooking with this brand, so we know what it is supposed to taste like. Same for the jackfruit which was not cooked at all. It was taken from a can and mixed with the avocado as is, and half of the fries were not cooked... We wanted to try the pastries, but we were put off. The cooks were on the terrace when our order was placed, they went into the kitchen for less than 10 minutes and came right back out... It's a heatwave, I understand that they don't want to stay in the kitchen, but in that case, don't offer dishes that need to be cooked if the cooks don't want to run the machines in the kitchen. A great concept, but the quality of the food needs to be reviewed.
My absolute favorite bakery for cakes. There are actually two branches in Stuttgart. This one is the new one, located in a more upscale shopping area. There's a huge selection of gluten-free treats, including rolls, breads, croissants, cinnamon rolls, macarons, little cakes, and much more. Simply a dream. The prices are a bit high, but you can treat yourself every now and then.
Lovely little cafe with the nice feature that everything is served completely gluten-free. First there was a burger (1x chicken and 1x normal beef) with potato wedges and homemade mayo. We also had the chickpea curry with sweet potatoes. Afterwards we each took a piece of different cake to take home with us.
My wife has never eaten crumb cake anywhere else and was absolutely thrilled. The chocolate and nut cake were also great.
The next day we tried the homemade waffles. Great taste here too, as a non-Zölli person I tasted almost no difference in the waffles and cakes compared to dishes that contain gluten.
The service was great on both days.
Definitely a recommendation if you are in Düsseldorf.
We were beyond thrilled with this café! As a family that consciously lives a sugar-free lifestyle, it's often difficult to find good alternatives—especially when it comes to cakes and sweets. We were all the happier to have discovered this wonderful café.
The selection of sugar-free (and even gluten-free!) cakes and tarts was not only creative, but above all, absolutely delicious! You can taste how much love and quality goes into every piece. Our children were thrilled too—and that's saying something 😊 It's simply wonderful to be able to offer them something good without having to forgo taste.
We will be back. :-)
Excellent food, friendly welcome, and excellent service. I have celiac disease and am thrilled with the variety of gluten-free food and drinks. With 30 degrees and sunshine, I missed more shade. If more sun protection like umbrellas were provided, this would definitely be 5 stars.

A fantastic restaurant! For the first time in two years, I've had a gluten-free pizza that tastes amazing and has a huge selection of gluten-free dishes. I'd happily drive 60km to eat here! 🙌
Disrespectful and unprofessional – that's not how you treat guests
We arrived with great anticipation, as the café advertises its vegan and gluten-free offerings – unfortunately, we were completely disappointed.
Despite several free tables, we were completely ignored. The waitress clearly saw us sitting down, but we simply weren't served. When we finally asked for the menu after some time, another waitress reprimanded us in an unfriendly and condescending tone – we "didn't wait" to be seated.
Such a tone, coupled with complete disinterest in the guest, is completely inappropriate in a restaurant. No one explained to us beforehand that we would have to wait to be assigned – and even if they had, that's not how you speak to people who come voluntarily to invest their time and money.
It's perfectly fine to have clear procedures – but the tone of voice makes the difference. What we experienced was simply disrespectful, unprofessional, and off-putting. The concept may be good, but that alone isn't enough when you treat your customers like this. Definitely a no-go for us!!!
We felt very unwelcome.
We've never been treated like this in a restaurant before.
Very disappointing!
I was ill for a long time and had no idea I was gluten and lactose intolerant.
When the doctor told me I would have to avoid these products for life, I was devastated.
I felt sad, restricted, and somehow excluded.
But then I discovered your café – and suddenly, joy returned!
I can finally enjoy myself without fear or deprivation.
Thank you for creating such a special place.
I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart, and that many more people may find this happiness with you 💜
We went there for breakfast today! It was so incredibly delicious! Everything was gluten-free, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!
+ The nice, cozy outdoor area
+ The selection and taste of the cakes
+ Everything is gluten-free
+ Milk alternatives for coffee
BUT
- Price for a slice of cake
- €1 surcharge for oat milk
If you drink a cappuccino with oat milk, you pay €5.20. So you pay for the milk like you would for a regular cappuccino – but there's no cow's milk at all – plus a €1 surcharge. A cappuccino contains approximately 80 ml of milk, and 1000 ml (1 l) of Barista oat milk costs approximately €2.50.
Therefore, in my opinion, the price premium is unjustified.
I got a small iced latte, it was very small, but tasty - they only sell glutenfree vegan milk alternatives which are good quality and taste good. I got a kimchi cheese grilled sandwich, it came with a salad and it was amazing! Although also very small for the price (around 8 eur?).
Also, I got a cinnamon pastry for later, and sadly I did not like it.
A big downside for me that there even though they had tables to sit down, there was no toilet. I think this is not acceptable for a place.
I had high hopes for the place, and I understand that making glutenfree and vegan food can cost more, but for me it is not going to be a regular place I visit. Maybe ocassionally, because the sandwich was very good.
