We had a nice time at Le Potager de Charlotte last night. Our starters were the highlight, absolutely delicious, but arrived so quickly we didn’t even have a drink yet! Drinks first then food would be more appropriate. I had the sesame tofu and my husband had the asparagus and both were delicious. All the food was beautifully presented.
Our mains were a little disappointing, it would be good if the pasta option had a normal pasta choice as gluten free pasta isn’t great if you don’t need it. The sauce was lovely though. My husband had the bulgar wheat with carrots which was quite dry.
The staff weren’t overly friendly but the service was good and the decor is really nice with lovely wines too.
If you like crepes, you will really enjoy this dining experience. One word: Delicious! The service was fantastic and it was always busy with locals...which is a sign of how good it is. They easily accommodated a gluten allergy for one of our party members.
Unfortunately very bad food. The gluten-free option for the burger was toast. That means I ate falafel on toast. After we were finished we were ignored for 25 minutes and when we finally got the bill the waiter acted extremely creepy and briefly disappeared with our credit card.
